This time I did the nitrous because the cavities were on two teeth, touching each other, and was going to take some time. Dr Belous is great (BTW..very pretty too) Very gentle. Staff is very professional (I love Misumi & Jen) I use their headphones , Pandora...sunglasses they provide. Sit back and relax. Sometimes I use the flat screen TV with headphones, that slides out right above your face. True comfort. Like flying 1st class on a plane. I agree their prices may be a bit higher than some. But you get what you pay for. That's why they sell Hyundai's and Cadillac's. Quality costs.... As for appts, I'm notified by email a week before, another couple of text reminders prior to appt. Impossible to miss an appt.

This is what made Contemporary Dentistry seem to be a safe space to get our teeth cared for. We knew that this practice tended to charge more for their work compared to other dentists but it didn't stop us from going there for care. We also had a few surprise bills, or charges that we felt based on our insurance should have been covered. Rather than addressing these issues we let them go because we felt that they likely had good reason and bought into the ideas that our healthcare provider knows better than our insurance company.. It made sense to us so we just paid as asked and kept quiet. Not long ago my wife needed dental surgery and was told the work would cost over $3000. We were told it was not covered by our insurance. That turned out to not be true. We now know that we would have been able to get the work done under our insurance elsewhere but we were not properly informed about this reality. Instead we were led to believe that this surgery needed to be paid for out of pocket. We trusted that these people were concerned about our healthcare and well being, after all we know them personally and have since before we were clients of theirs. Trusting them was in hindsight, a serious mistake. Because of the surprise bills in the past, in combination with this experience, and my wife's frustration and intuition that we had been taken advantage of, I called the office asking if Harold Messer, the office manager/owner could call me personally so I could discuss what we had been through. I did so just after getting my own cleaning done and making an appointment to have a filling redone that had chipped/failed. Jen, at the front desk, assured me that Harold would give me a call to discuss our experience. At this point, I still believed that this was the place I would get my teeth taken care of and that the issues we were experiencing were just mistakes that could be owned and improved upon. I felt like my phone call was going to make the practice better. To my great frustration and dismay I never got that call back from Harold. Instead I received a snail mail letter from the office stating "At this time our relationship seems to be missing the important element of mutual understanding. At this time, I think it would be in your best interest to seek dental care from another dentist". As you can imagine, I feel heartbroken and now realize that all along I may have been taken advantage of. That this mutual understanding that is being referred to could only be the understanding that this practice can do no wrong and that simply asking for a conversation about our experience is a sign that we are no longer blind believers in their work. The reality that their tagline is "dentistry with a heart" is ironic. Shame on Harold Messer for making Anna Belouis DDS sign the letter we were sent because I am confident that this letter is from and written by him, because we had a wonderful relationship with Anna. I hope Anna finds a less toxic place to work. She was not even the dentist that was involved in my wife's situation. My thinking is that he is hiding behind this employees name because he knows how how egregious this misconduct is and how unethical his business practice is. The letter to me signifies this is simply how they do business. I feel terrible that I led my wife to believe this was a safe and ethical place to get healthcare and I will learn from this experience. We are considering legal action in hopes of sparing others from an experience like ours. If you or your loved ones are considering getting healthcare at Contemporary Dentistry I urge you to look elsewhere as this has been the most unprofessional healthcare experience of my lifetime. I still cannot fathom that such a letter, firing us as patients, was sent to me simply for asking for a conversation with Harold Messer. Shame on you Harold Messer. You should know better.

I lost a crown last week and after I called and left a message on Saturday, Dr. Garcia's office…read morecalled and got me in on Monday. After a quick assessment (I had some additional decay), I was scheduled for this morning. After 2 hours in the office I have a brand new crown. It was really amazing--your teeth are scanned and a computer generates a model crown that Dr. Garcia adjusts. Then the new crown is milled in 15 minutes or so right in the office. After fitting it, the crown is 'baked' for another 20 minutes or so, then Dr. Garcia cements it in place and does final adjustments. All done--in at 9, out at 11 all set and the tooth looks great! There is no metal band showing at the gum line as it is all porcelain. This is so much better than the 'old' way of getting a temporary crown and having to come back in two weeks and the crown really looks more natural.

This is where to go to get ripped off. I had a $7000 implant. It FAILED. I had multiple infections…read morebecause of inferior materials used and abundance of cement used. The abutment and crown were stock. Dr. Cabrera wrote up the plan and explicitly wrote custom materials. He stood in the back of the room while a different dentist did the implant. Was I a guinea pig,? I'm a woman of age alone on social security. He made me take a yearly plan to (keep expenses down) claiming it would have been over $8000. I gave them multiple times to rectify the issues but blamed it on other teeth trying to get more money out of me and made derogatory remarks about how my regular dentist would not get me in soon enough. He wanted to charge 2500 for a root canal and crown on the tooth in front of the implant and previously blamed a tooth behind the implant. My dentist sent me to another specialist and both agreed the implant failed. Greece FD never took responsibility for their mistakes. I had the crown and abutment removed and it's deemed unusable. The infections stopped and I have no tooth in place. 7000 down the toilet. I needed a very painful lazar treatment to treat the gum infection when it was removed. He claims to be Christian which was why I chose them. Shame on you Dr. Cabrera and the blaming your associate for the error. He orchestrated the whole thing. Besides who gives away big ticket items and cruises in contests. What other dental practice does that?? Who's paying for those things? His patients.

Each of the primary care Drs are each very skilled, patient focused and genuinely look to deliver the best out come and experience for your issue. The remaining staff is at the same level and technical knowledge as the Drs. Up on their game, deliver with a kind smile and deliver a great experience. Have been super impressed on how they deliver their product and ensure patient satisfaction. The facility is modern, clean and bright. Equipment is well maintained and up to date. They have a great lab with n sight that can scan and produce permanent Crowns right on site. (I just had one done to day). If you are looking for a great dental team - these folks are it.
