I found them to be honest, competitive priced, punctual and extremely professional. They even cleaned up after themselves. Jim the owner as well as his help were very personable and understood my objectives. I would not hesitate to retain Renopro for any work around my home and would highly recommend you do the same.

It's a small kitchen and should have taken no more than 2-3 weeks of work. Not including the wait for new cabinets. He worked for 4 months, draging the project out until we fired him. In all that time he removed the cabinets and drywall put up new drywall, and painted one coat. There were days he worked just a few hours. He does not have a crew, but seems to hire young kids, day laborers. One damaged our stove during the demolition. He used so many screws to put up the new drywall that the wall looked like it was riddled with a machine gun. Sometimes he would not show up for days with no explanation or a call.. He also took a week off for vacation. There are many more details of our dissatisfaction, but suffice it to say, I can not recommend him for even a small project.

They were over an hour late for the estimate visit. I understand things happen, but a courtesy call to say you are running late is more professional as I had to make special arrangements for this meeting. I often had to follow up after weeks or even months of non response. There were no responses in the fall until was too cold so I was assured I'd be first on their list in the spring. Come April, I again found myself having to reach out to them as to when they were going to do the job. They seemed to lack communication or urgency to perform my job. When I did get a response I was told that May was still too cold and that we should push to June. Here we are in July and after numerous emails, phone calls and texts I am going to move on. So now I've missed 2 seasons that I could have had my house painted by someone else.

This also included a redo of our front yard. The project was still finished on time and still looks wonderful. Last year we had another patio completed and our yard leveled out which gives us another place to sit and enjoy yard games. It also looks great. We found J and R Fine Landscaping to be very responsive on all of our projects including smaller short notice needed yard maintenance projects. Jim Goddard always provided great advice on what we should do and what would look great but he would always work with what we wanted. We also found his estimates and pricing to be very competitive with real value.

After a year and a half, we discovered some rot in the basement floor timbers which we realized COULD NOT be ignored. We came to learn of J&S Carpentry & Construction and of their reputation. We invited their president, Jeff Schultz, to take a look at the situation and to estimate the extent of the repairs required and their cost. Jeff provided a detailed repair estimate, and what seemed to us a fair cost, considering the vital nature of work. As is often the case, as Jeff began the work, he discovered the situation was more extensive than he'd foreseen. The repair, including replacement of the rotted timbers, required his installation of several pressurized timbers, all supported above the foundation by mortar. While the repairs, originally estimated to require 3 days, finally required 4, the work was professionally accomplished. With its complexity, we were grateful that we'd contracted a bona fide Construction professional to do this vital work. We now enjoy the confidence that our home has been returned to full health. We were impressed and comforted by how much of the repair work Jeff himself actually performed in this project. Jeff's by-line is "J&S stands for Job Satisfaction." We can personally and enthusiastically attest to that assurance! We now recommend J&S Carpentry & Construction to anyone in need of totally dependable, vital repairs to their family's home.

We also incurred several hundred dollars in additional charges throughout the process. After weeks of coordinating, they canceled the installation an hour before the appointment not once, but twice. You would expect the second attempt to be handled better, but it wasn't. After that second last-minute cancellation, we requested a refund. It has now been over a month, and we still have not received our money back, nor have we received any meaningful communication or updates from them. The lack of professionalism and accountability has been unbelievable. At this point, we cannot recommend this company to anyone.

The owner lied to us multiple times though the process regarding the ordering of the cabinets, "the check is in the mail", "we will be sending it this week" and so on. I highly suggest not using solid advantage
