They showed me a rifle once I provided my State ID and badge. But when I wanted to purchase the rile they asked me if I had "arresting rights" outside of the institution in which I didn't. So they decided I couldn't purchase the rifle. . . But the law is plain on its language of Illinois Dept of Corrections being able to purchase a semi-automatic rifle. Under Peace and Qualified Law Enforcement Officers. "Those section has also been amended to include Correctional Officers in Illinois, whether they be State or County". So for a gun business to pick and choose who gets to purchase by their standards an not by the standards of the law, let me know this business does not respect American citizens, the Illinois Laws and the Federal 2nd Amendment rights of an American Citizen. I found Osage County Guns on an auction site and navigated to their website. I found what I was looking for and they have a law enforcement program that was a huge surprise. I placed my order, sent a copy of my photo ID and got a confirmation email right away. What really impressed me was the new email every time there was a change in my order, they let me know it was shipped, they let me know it was out for delivery and they let me know after it was delivered.
