    French Dip

Went to visit the grandbaby and headed to Weber's Front Row off Richardson Road in Arnold. This is your average Sports Bar. Drinks are good Food is Ok... The Potato Skins were tasty but the Fried Pickles were very Salty.... To much Ranch or something on the coating. My French Dip Sandwich could use more seasoning. My son had the Steak Sandwich which again... more flavor. My daughter in law got the Chicken Modiga which was very good!! The Salad was just your average salad. Their dressing is an Italian Vinaigrette. So not impressed but it did the trick! Our server was amazing as I think she was working the whole bar side by herself!!

    Steak Sandwich and Fries

I've been at other locations ,however, it's been awhile. I remembered having great food. So, my husband and I decided to try out the Arnold location on a Friday night. Outside looks great. We commented on the nice patio and wished it was warm enough to sit outside. Inside could really use a remodel. Very outdated A lot of high top tables. The floor looked like a warehouse floor. We asked to sit in a booth. Our waitress was pleasant, knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive. We got both the Weber's menu and Global Quesadilla which the waitress explained they just purchased. I ordered the shrimp tacos with chips/salsa with a Mango Cart on tap and my husband ordered the steak sandwich with fries and later ordered the cookies and ice cream for dessert. My shrimp tacos were pretty tasty. Breaded shrimp tossed in a sweet chili sauce. The chips tasted like they came out of a bag (Tostitos would have been better). My husband said the meat on his sandwich was superb, however, the fries average. He was looking forward to his favorite vanilla bean ice cream on the cookies as mentioned in the menu. It came out with French vanilla. It was crowded. So, perhaps this location has its loyal customers. We felt they need to try harder to attract new with all the other great restaurant choices in Arnold.

    Buffalo Chicken Mac n Cheese

Came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon.... Immediately seated and given drinks promptly. The mrs was not impressed with menu choices and struggled to find something to her liking. I ordered us the toasted ravs as an appetizer. I ordered buffalo Mac/cheese and the mrs settled on chicken Speedo. The food was what we expected for the most part. The mrs said hers was good and had good flavor. The Buffalo chicken on the pasta seemed dry. We would come back though simply because the server was awesome and the mrs actually said her food was good.

Is it supposed to have breading on my "grilled" chicken breast or not? Kinda hard to tell from this....

Wish I could give this place negative stars. Even making consessions for staff shortage that has hit every restaurant it was horrible service and food. Waiting over half an hour for a drink refill is far too long for a place that has over half the tables empty. Waiting over an hour for a burger and this chicken was also ridiculous. Now Waiting for them to let me pay so I can hit a drive thru for my dinner

Fast service. Big menu selection. Fair prices. Servers worked together during the busy lunch hour so the food came out fast and hot.

What really stood out to me was the service we received! I really appreciated not being rushed through our meal. The fact that they actually let you order your courses separately so they're not coming out on top of each other was refreshing. And even though it was a Friday night and there were others waiting to get in we weren't rushed to pay our bill but instead invited to take our time. We hadn't seen or heard much about their pizzas, but we were in the mood for one and decided to order the meat pizza. It was made in a brick oven and it was really tasty. Honestly there were so many toppings that we ended up asking for an extra cup of the marinara sauce to dip it in. The sauce is made in house, it was delicious and the waitress said it's the same one that's used with the spaghetti and meatballs. In regard to the pizza size even though they're considered personal pizzas it was definitely bigger than we were anticipating. I would say they're close to 11 to 12 inches in diameter. My husband and I each enjoyed two pieces with our salad and took the other half home with us. They are definitely big enough to share, especially if you're ordering an appetizer or a salad to go with it. Our group very much enjoyed the artichoke spinach dip. It came with bread that had been cooked in their brick oven and I love that the spinach was in bigger pieces. My husband, and I also shared the harvest salad which had butternut squash on it, candied pecans & goat cheese. It was really yummy. Others in our group enjoyed the salmon and the crispy chicken sandwich. I had recently seen on a local Jefferson County page that many people consider Twisted Tavern the best place for a good piece of cake specifically, their wedding cake . Truth is that was the primary reason why I suggested this restaurant to meet our friends at but sadly by the time we finished our meal and were ready to order dessert they had already sold out. We were told this does not usually happen. Overall, we found tasty fresh food made in house, great service and fair prices. I am already planning another visit to the Twisted Tavern (so I can try their wedding cake! ).

When I dug through the chili to find the burger I found one that was paper thin with the texture of a piece of soggy cardboard. I don't know if there was any fries under all that chili. It had been years since we had visited, and we were excited to spend the day walking around the little town and enjoying a meal at one of the places it's known for. We arrived around 11 a.m., and it was the perfect timing. There was plenty of parking, and we were able to walk right in and get seated. After lunch, we spent about an hour shopping around town, and when we came back through, the parking lot was packed and the sidewalks were much busier. I would definitely recommend arriving earlier if you want a more relaxed experience. Even though it was August, the weather was surprisingly beautiful, with temperatures in the low 70s, so we decided to sit out on the veranda. It was such a great choice. The view was peaceful, there was a nice breeze, and it felt like we were enjoying lunch somewhere special rather than just sitting inside a busy restaurant. It made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Our waitress was wonderful--very attentive and friendly. We must have been on the same wavelength because every time I asked for her opinion between two choices, she picked the exact one I was already leaning toward without me telling her. Her recommendations were spot on! We both ordered the trio, which allows you to choose three items from a selected menu. We each started with the white chili, and it was perfect for the cooler summer day. It was warm, comforting, and full of flavor. For my main dish, I chose the turkey melt on a croissant. The croissant was flaky, buttery, and absolutely delicious. I'm trying to cut back on carbs, but that plan went out the window because it was just too good. I did save half of the sandwich for the ride home, but there was no way I was leaving that croissant behind! My bestie ordered the chicken salad croissant, and she loved it as well. She said the chicken salad was flavorful, moist, and delicious, and the croissant made it even better. Of course, we couldn't leave without trying dessert. The Blue Owl is famous for their Levee High Apple Pie, but neither of us were really craving apple pie that day. Instead, we went inside to look at the dessert display, and that might have been the hardest decision of the whole visit. Everything looked amazing! I was torn between the chocolate cream pie and the French silk, and ultimately chose the French silk. It was very smooth and rich, and the flavor was delicious. My only complaint was that I personally would have preferred more whipped cream on top, and the crust was a little firmer than I like. It wasn't bad at all--it just wasn't my favorite dessert choice. If I went back, I would probably try something different next time. My bestie chose the gooey butter cheesecake, and that one was a winner. The crust was made from a gooey butter cookie, and it was such a unique and delicious twist. Overall, we had such a great day in Kimmswick. It was the perfect little escape before summer ends and school starts back up. A beautiful walk through a charming town, great conversation with a best friend, and a delicious meal made for a wonderful day. We're already looking forward to coming back!
