Steer clear!!! Overpriced, possibly incompetent. Had a frig fixed- for just under the price of cheaper to fix than replace. $145 to have a washer diagnosed. Lid locked, stuck shut with load mildewing inside. Was told only way to get it out was $700+ repair. I Checked Youtube and opened it right up. Decided to replace washer rather than repair, after paying via zelle for repair. Was due $580 refund. 6 weeks, 6 requests, multiple "I will get that right to you"s. I sent zelle invoice to make it as easy as possible for him to refund. After threat to sue money returned. Amiable guy I will never use again. read more

At first, Robinson Appliance Repair was great & quick to respond and diagnose my washer. I paid the same day for a drain pump that was supposed to arrive in 3-5 days. It took two weeks and multiple calls just to get it installed. Then I was told the control board was also bad and would take about two weeks to arrive. It has now been three weeks since that update, and I haven't received a single returned call. I work in Property Management and have never experienced this level of poor communication or delay for a simple repair. I've been stuck using a laundromat for weeks--expensive, frustrating, and completely avoidable. Would not recommend. read more

We had one dryer down and waiting on a belt replacement when the second (last) dryer died on a Saturday. We have a boarding facility and needed to get these working ASAP to be sure the pets had bedding. They responded right away and quoted us $154 for the emergency fee. They came out the same day and needed to order a part but told us the emergency fee would be wrapped into the overall fee quoted which was around $375. We paid them in full that day for the quoted price. They did come back the following Monday to replace the belt and we had gotten the second belt for the first dryer that died so asked if they could instoll since they were already there. They did so for an additional $319. There were two separate managers each time so didn't know what had already transpired. I saw the two invoices of essentially $700. We reached out to the company to find out why we were charged so much and they did everything but admit they scammed us out of money and laughed about it. THEY ARE NOT TRUST WORTHY. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. We were charged $244 for a technician to come out, turn the refrigerator off and back on, and then confidently tell us "nothing is wrong." The fridge temperature was visibly rising, but we were told the compressor just needed to be reset. No real diagnostics, no tools, just an expensive flip of a switch. When the fridge completely failed the next day and hit over 50°F, they blamed us for "opening the door too soon." They then returned and tried to sell us a $900 repair board, or suggested we buy a $3,000 new fridge from them. We asked if it could be a coolant issue -- something we've dealt with before -- and were told flatly, "That's impossible." We called in a second technician for a second opinion. He added refrigerant, and the fridge immediately began working again. So yes -- it was the coolant. The original company charged us for a service that didn't fix anything, dismissed a known problem, and tried to upsell us instead of diagnosing the real issue. This company either doesn't know what they're doing, or they do -- and they're just hoping you don't. Either way, we will never call them again, and I strongly recommend others avoid them unless you enjoy wasting money on lazy diagnostics and overpriced sales pitches. read more

Our journey began back in April when dishwasher went out. He came out check it tried it bought a part and it did not function and still not function. He stated he will order another control part then told it was the wrong one. After 14 phone calls 5 months latter my patience has run out. My issue is not so much getting the part but not responding to my phone calls and informing me what is going on. I am not satisfied with his service. Here are the facts: 1) His company uses 3 different phone numbers. 2) If you are a new client, he will respond to your call in the beginning. 3) After the first service call, you never know which phone number he'll answer. 4) When you call or text him to check on an order or delivery date his mailbox is full. 5) If you are a customer waiting for an appliance or repair part, he won't answer any of your calls. 6) If you order an appliance from him, you will likely not receive your entire order. 7) He continues to give the same excuse... "I'm having trouble getting the appliance or part, or it's backordered". 8) His talk when you first meet him sounds promising, but buyer be aware... he will take your money and run! read more

Twice this two person team came our to our house and was paid their exorbitant fee for a service call only to tell us that our appliance was beyond repair. We took their word for it the first time and bought a new stove. The second time after a cursory investigation of a non working dish washer they again said it was a siezed up motor that would cost $500 plus to replace. After we paid the $100 plus service call we began to investigate on our own and found that with a bit of cleaning of the filter the motor in fact did work, it was a clogged drain that was causing the problem. Luckily we did our own invesitgation before we bought a second new appliance on their say that the appliance they came to fix was beyond repair. I will never call them again, and cannot in good faith tell anyone else to call them. read more

Company was used by BestBuy to install new Viking dishwasher. Took them 3 tries to install and still didn't get it right. Never returned calls to me so I called BestBuy and they are sending out another to fix it. Said he was an expert on Viking products I could have done a better job. Left insulation out and never got the kick plate right so now a hunk of rubber hangs on my floor. Never again! read more

Tim Robinson is the biggest rip off ever. I ordered a LG Washer and dryer from him this past year January 2023. He delivered the washer on the 25th of January but says the dryer is back ordered and it should be available in February. Stupid me wrote him a check for $2,631.00 for the washer and dryer, taxes and delivery. Well guess what.....it's been almost a year now and he still has not delivered my dryer. At first when I would text him, he would reply and give me a date he would deliver it, but then would cancel. Now he will not even answer my phone calls or text messages. We had Robinson's come out to fix our 13 year old Maytag washing machine. Mr. Robinson, I think, and his wife, I think, both came out looked at the washer did nothing to diagnose the issue and then went to their car and said they had to look up something. Wife came back in and said they could not get the part any more and charged us $103 plus another $4 for using a credit card. I paid it but did not feel they did enough to justify their charge. I went to YouTube and found a site and they showed that if you open the top of the washer and look inside there is a chart that shows error codes and what they mean. Purchased a suite of appliances from Best Buy. RAS was the "certified" installers for the range and dishwasher. I guess because it required expertise in hooking up a gas line and electric? Expertise should be VERY loosely inferred. The installers were absolutely a joke. I filed a claim with Best Buy on the damage they did to my floor and I'm still awaiting a response from the owner of RAS. I would recommend not allowing this business into your home. read more

Recently hired RAS for installation of my new suite of appliances. Team of 2 installed my dishwasher, over the range Microwave and gas range. I did not have a plug in my cabinet over my range for the microwave, but the installer had supplies to install one for me saving me money and time to hire an electrician! My appliances were delivered and installed same day and I appreciate the fact that they used drop blankets protecting my hard wood floors. I love my appliances! This company made my day! Don't call this man for any appliance repairs, what a rip off, I called this man to repair my Samsung refridgerator which is about eight years old . The freezer handle on the bottom draw was broker , he didn't know how to fix it and told me it was made in Korea, I shouldn't have bought it ..Then told me he couldn;t get parts to fix it, but charged over $100 dollars for service call I checked on line at Samsung .com ordered the parts for a about $ 25.00 and watched a video on U_Tube on how to fix the door handle . repaired in about ten minutes read more

Excellent service. Called them yesterday, near the end of the day to request service. He said they would call today to schedule a diagnosis of a problem with our oven. He called ahead and arrived on time. Quickly determined that the igniter was malfunctioning. He actually had the part with him, and installed it. Friendly people, his wife works with him. My washing machine was not spinning the water out of large loads. Someone came and moved the barrel around a bit, took nothing apart and said I needed a new clutch and it would be $125 for the part and $125 for labor. I was also told I would have to provide more overhead light for them. It's an old basement with only one light. I was torn because of cost. When I decided to just do it and went to pay with my credit card, I was told their credit card system was down and they would have to get a new one. No warning of this over the phone. I said never mind. The visit was $85. I called someone else. They came and in one visit took my machine apart, replaced a spring and the clutch and the total cost was $128. I was lucky they couldn't take my credit card or I would have paid $250 instead of $128. read more
