Always a favorite stop when in town for breakfast. Fast paced dinner style service and servers move quick in filling up coffee, getting orders and food to you just as quick. Great sized portions - OK coffee - great service at a great price point. Really wish they improved the coffee - hint hint.. The quiche is awesome and a signature dish... Enjoy. read more

Eat lunch there 3-4 times a week and have never been disappointed with the food. Staff is great. Allison and Mary know the locals. Almost like a family get together every day. Burgers are hand formed every day, grilled buns. Creamed chicken on biscuits and the meat loaf are fantastic. read more

OK My 1st try since they have moved to main st, I know that it is popular for their breakfast and i cannot judge this because i came for a lunch and nothing more, just looking for a simple pleasant lunch downtown, so let me start, i came in and they was 1 single table full of maybe 6people and no waitress to be find but someone cleaning tables on the side, i waited by the counter and decided to find a seat for 2. after a few minute this waitress screamed out loud" you should move to the biggest table! your plates might be to big for your table and its cleaned, i answered that i was fine here and wish to stay, but she insisted, i had to be firm and basically ask permission when they is about a other 40 table!! haha! anywho, no hello, no welcome, i proceed to order for 2 burgers, 1 with no cheese and 1 with just salad and tomatoe, she brought 2 burger with cheese and no onions,when i mention it! she got angry and very agressive" she said" You ask for it!! whatever!!! out loud! i wrapped up and left to pay, then when this other server ask me, if everything was great, i just mention that the cheese part was dessapointing but not a big deal! our server came full speed!! to my face and said" You have a problem? don't you go there with me? has she was going to punch me in the face, i just thank them and left... I cannot believe that server would want to agress their own clients this way! incrdible, and this owner stood there!!! like it was amusement!!! its a little odd to me...Foodwise!!! bread wasnt' fresh or toasted, pickle had no taste, meat was overly greassy and not much flavor, maybe only the fries were decent. We visited this location on Sunday, June 25, 2017, for Brunch. The location is excellent; Old Main Street (12th Street West) in downtown Bradenton. The service was friendly and very professional. The presentation of the meal was aesthetically pleasing. I had the three stack buttermilk pancakes with blue berries inside, turkey sausage patties, and a cup of coffee; delicious! Not only was it an excellent meal, but also it was a relaxing experience in the quiet and calm atmosphere of the Café. The staff would check on us to be helpful, but were not inconvenient. Moreover, from were I sat, I could enjoy watching all the outside activity occurring on Old Main Street--people watching. I would highly recommend this location. My husband and I love this little restaurant in downtown Bradenton it is just right just to go have coffee and maybe breakfast. There are days when they have specials in the afternoon you can call and check the man you for the day. The waitresses are super nice and glad help you in anyway they can read more

Had a pleasant breakfast here a few days ago. On Old Main street Bradenton just a few blocks from the Riverwalk is this nice cafe where I was greeted by a gracious lady with a British accent. Ordered a ham omelet with home fries, got a generous dish in a few minutes. Coffee cup reloaded once, then cashier asks if I wanted a cup to go. Came to about $10 including tip. Walls adorned with landscape paintings for sale by a local artist. Sit outside in the cool morning if you wish, either way a good choice. read more

Came here on a whim. The ambiance is very old, Key West vibe with wicker chairs. But, that doesn't describe the food or service. Food was amazing! I came with a party of six and everyone loved their meal. I had the Greek omelette add spinach with the hash brown casserole and it was the best omelet I had ever had! They are kind here, but very passive aggressive. I've had breakfast here, but it was generic, flavorless, and for the price, had little to nothing in it. You could eat a better breakfast whilst lost in the woods and forced to fend for yourself in the harsh light of day. That said, they are a cafe and serve lots of interesting and immensely unhealthy foods to caress your palettes. Go for the calories, not the wake up. Bring cash, too, because although it is expensive for the little amount you get, they require an even more expensive minimum charge just to use a card. read more

We ordered as soon as we were seated. After 45 minutes of waiting for our food .....the unfriendly waitress didn't check on us once.....we had to flag her down and ask the progress of our order. She rudely told us it would be up next. After another 10 minutes we told a different waitress that we could no longer wait and we were leaving. Not one word of an apology was spoken to us. Other people said they were getting ready to leave too. Very rude and unfriendly restaurant. There are other good restaurants in Bradenton so avoid this one! read more

Delicious, freshly prepared hot breakfast. The omelette was perfectly prepared as were the blueberry pancakes. Service was great too!

I'm so disappointed in the waiting staff there. I've been a loyal customer for years. Today while there for breakfast there was a man not bothering a soul, and one waitress in particular wouldn't shut up about him just sitting there drinking coffee. I guess only people with lots of money can stay & dine there. It was offered if we could buy him a meal, and the waitress said no he needs to leave. I hope that whatever his case maybe, that it never happens to you or your family! You should be ashamed! read more

Today was not our first visit to Robin's- we had been there a few times before and were wondering why the servers seemed so miserable. Well today they took it to another level. For Father's Day the restaurant was not that busy. A very grumpy server took our order, then we waited.... and waited and waited. Another server came by to tell us our food would be right up. So we waited and waited and waited. After about a half hour, our original server came up to ask if the other server had taken our order. When we told her she took our order, she was suprised and tried to cover by saying she just did not remember our order. Then I dared to mention the amount of time it was taking to get our order and she snapped at me that we came in behind a large order. The way she said it was like we did it on purpose to mess up her day. She stormed away and said our food would be out soon. We waited for a little while longer just fuming about how we were treated by her then decided we did not need to be treated like crap when we were paying to eat out and had done nothing to deserve the witchy treatment we received. We got up to leave and as we were walking out the door, she screamed through the restaurant that our food was coming. We did not believe her and we will not be back. In addition, we will be letting everyone in our commnutiy know not to bother going there. Terrible service! read more

Breakfast was okay but not as good as I hoped it was a little greasy. Coffee was not decaf as I had asked even when I told the waitress she insisted it was decaf what do I know I have only been drinking decaf for 20 years. Not overly friendly to a new customer so I guess I will not be coming back. read more

I called for a delivery less than a block away. Like most people downtown, I had an hour for lunch. After 45 minutes I called and said I had placed an order that hadn't been delivered. She laughed and told me she needed more info than that. I gave her all my info and then she said she had nothing there so it must be out for delivery. Then why ask for more info? I asked if it usually takes that long, she said "when we're busy". I told her if she had told me that when I placed the order I'd have picked it up. She said I should have asked. Again she laughed and eventually hung up on me. My salad was delivered 55 minutes after I placed the order and it had obviously been made a long time ago. I guess it really didn't matter at that point because I didn't have time to eat it. Treated poorly, missed lunch and wasted $10. I've worked downtown and supported the local restaurants, including this one, for 18 years. I've had issues before when times are busy, these things do happen, but they've always been nice about it and we move on. To be laughed at, blamed and hung up on prompted me to write my first review of anything ever. Robin's Downtown Cafe is no longer an option for me. read more
