Peanut Butter Palooza - This was homemade peanut butter ice cream with peanut butter cups and Oreos. This was unreal, one of my favorites tried here. There was plenty of peanut butter flavor, but not too much where it was an issue. Oreos were a nice compliment. Root Beer - This tasted exactly like root beer and was unique being in ice cream form but could not have too much of it as I became tired of it quickly. Grandma's Strawberry Shortcake - This was homemade strawberry sweet cream with strawberry jam swirl and shortbread cookie pieces. This was alright. The crumb pieces were too large, and surprised there was not more of a strawberry taste. Mango Lassi - This was homemade Greek yogurt sweet cream with homemade mango jam swirl. I wished there was more mango. I liked the slight change with Greek yogurt being used and it was very apparent. The sugar and whatever else was used helped to offset the blandness of regular Greek yogurt.

Everyone was waiting patiently. 3/4 young kids were working taking orders. They had a lot of flavors to choose from. I was interested in the brown butter cookie dough to try but ultimately went with pistachio. It was delicious. I just found out it had gluten whomp whomp!! We also tried a shake with coffee and chocolate chunks! They also sell ice cream cakes and ice cream sandwiches. The shop is cute modern. it has a cow to lay on just in case you get tired lol Overall I would def go back

Whoever said that "ice cream" was a Summer thing probably never had one!…read more After a long search for an open location last weekend at the Jersey shore, we were thrilled to find Courtney's. Not only we found an open shop on that dreary and rainy Saturday, but a wonderful place to hang out with friends. As we entered, we were warmly greeted by Courtney herself and her faithful "helper" Sunshine . The shop had a very cozy feeling with beautiful "beach life" decor but also a very welcoming Christmas scenery . Courtney's had a great menu variety, including favorites like a hot fudge sundae with a perfectly crisp and warm brownie and the classic banana split. Their milkshakes are a must-try. But if you are there for the vibe and to meet with friends, make sure to knock out some Christmas shopping with Courtney's funky candles as gifts or bring a pie home, so you don't show up empty-handed to your next holiday party .

The container that was used was beneficial since none of the ice cream touched one another. At another location, a waffle cone was given, but not here. I wonder if this was because this was a takeout order? Regardless, it did not matter. The four flavors I had are below. All of the ice cream flavors were fulfilling and creamy. PeanutButterpalooza - This was peanut butter ice cream with crushed Oreos and homemade chocolate peanut butter cups. This was definitely my favorite one tried. There was just enough peanut butter here. I was afraid it would be too much, but not at all. The crushed Oreo and peanut butter cups were small enough where it did not require a lot of chewing. Orange Crush - This was a special. It was a sorbet with orange, lemon and lime juice, and Sprite. This was alright. It was definitely refreshing, but I was expecting a little more flavor. Watermelon Chocolate Chunk - This was another special. This was their sweet cream ice cream with fresh watermelon puree and sprinkled with lemon zest and chocolate chunks. I did not know if the chocolate chunks would work here, but it did. I suppose the chocolate chunks signified black seeds? Anyway, it was a nice compliment to the watermelon flavoring incorporated into the sweet cream. Jersey Corn - This was another special flavor. This was a corn puree incorporated into a buttermilk ice cream. This was very tasty. It had a great corn flavor with just enough sweetness. It really worked out well. Will I go back? No doubt.

The serving was generous and the mixture of the creamy gelato, with the crunchy oreo, made this such a delight to enjoy....and highly recommended. My family was exploring and I really wanted something savory while in the area. I saw "sushi…read moreburrito" and was intrigued. It seemed a safe choice (we're allium-free vegetarians) and I was luckily right, for the most part. The place is cute with a little gift shop (this squishiest, needoh, and little toys) to the side which I was not expecting and the rest was the restaurant. They have an open kitchen, do poke bowls and drinks including boba. Plus mochi ice cream, roll ice cream, and other sweets. You place your order at the counter, pick your table, and they'll bring out your food. Sushi burritos are NOT officially on the menu but you essentially use the same section as DIY poke bowls. Same price regardless of bowl or burrito. You just pick and choose and make your own which I thought was fun. The tricky part is the sauce. They have a good selection, but the lady did not know what the ingredients were, which was... disappointing. Didn't ask the kitchen either. We ended up going with soy sauce, which was given to us in a cup on the side. The burrito is nicely sized. I asked for a number of things and you could taste them as you worked through it but it's impossible to taste everything at the same time. But it's not throughout the entire length of the burrito. It also doesn't have any additional seasoning aside from items like oshinko (pickled, radioactive yellow radish... it was thinly sliced and I couldn't see it but I did taste it when I got to it) or things bloomed their own flavor like mango so the sauce is recommended. Soy sauce was perfect, but I really wanted to try the Honey Wasabi sauce. Anyway, the burrito was good! But it was also $17. Ouch. Tofu doesn't cost that much so I did think it a bit much? There's an option for NO protein which is a little cheaper so maybe that would have been better? Good place to go to for a savory bite. Would be better if I could get fancier sauce and there was better knowledge of ingredients. That in itself makes the place iffy for the entire family. One of my kids has multiple food allergies.
