History
Established in 1980.
In 1970, A.L. Hartley founded Robin Builders, Inc. after recognizing the need for consistent quality and innovation in the portable building industry. With years of fabrication experience, he set out to offer durable, affordable portable buildings.
Over time, Hartley built a strong team that helped grow the company from a small operation into a major player in the portable utility building market. In 1979, a second manufacturing facility was added in Lake Wales, FL.
In the 1980s, management of the Central Florida operation passed to Hartley’s son, Lewis, who was raised in the business and continues the family’s commitment to excellence.
