The subpar service left a huge scar and they actually charged for things that they didn't even do-probably to make the bill higher. Save yourself the trouble and the pain by seeking out another facility. Office staff is elitist and cares more about your money and how much time you're taking than about you. NEVER GOING BACK.

I had a consultation in the fall with Dr. Van Natta for a "mommy makeover". He came highly recommended by one friend who I trust. I knew that it was going to be between him and Dr. Turkle (who is across the street) when I began this journey. According to Dr. Van Natta's website the average cost of a mommy makeover was $12,300-ish. When I got to my consultation, the staff was very friendly. Very welcoming and made me feel comfortable. When we finally got to the part where I spoke to Dr. Van Natta, I thought he had a great plan in place. I was really looking forward to the upcoming surgery that I had pre-planned and scheduled due to coming from out of state (I grew up in indiana and was familiar). The only thing that threw me off about his character was that he spent about 10 minutes lecturing me about Covid vaccines and his opinion about them (I'm a nurse, and am familiar). However, it wasn't necessarily a dealbreaker. The problem came when it was time to sit down and discuss the financial aspect. The first page that she went over said that the procedure would be $12,700. Right around the price the website said. But then we flipped to the second page. There was another $6000 (approximately) in fees. It included the anesthesia, facility cost, garments, etc. Talk about sticker shock! I thought that that should've been something the website should have disclosed. I mean, that's a breast augmentation at most places. Total cost for the mommy makeover was going to be just under $20,000. We are talking Los Angeles pricing in Carmel, Indiana. Trust me, I had done my research prior to my appointment. I started to think about just doing the tummy tuck only, which they told me the total cost would be $12,700 ish. Again, astronomical prices for the location. A few months later I had a consultation with Dr. Turkle across the street. I am very familiar with her work and have several friends that have been to her so I felt very comfortable knowing that she would do a great job as well. Total cost for a mommy makeover was just over $13,000 at her facility. If I would've included a breast lift with the breast augmentation it would've been around $14,000 (all in pricing). The quality of work is just as great and trustworthy. I still just can't believe people are willing to pay those prices when they can get the same quality of work for a fraction of the price. Glad I looked elsewhere.

From my initial consult, I knew that I wanted her to perform my surgery. She answered every question that I had and knew exactly the look that I was going for. She asked me about ME and I loved that. I had a consult with another doctor a few years ago and felt like just a number there. Not so with Dr. Siwy. Had a wonderful experience at the surgery center as well! I had a VERY substantial lift (Dr. Siwy said that my "pre" surgery were some of the worst she had ever seen...happens after losing 150 pounds) and did have openings form at the anchor point under each breast. They were very accommodating to fit me in to be seen and didn't make me feel silly for being nervous. Even sent me home with supplies to dress the areas myself. Tess, her assistant was fabulous as well. Debbie, at the front desk, takes a little bit of warming up, but once you do is happy to answer any questions! I highly recommend Dr. Siwy!

One other board certified plastic surgeon said yes he would do the job but then three months later I was still not on his schedule. Dr. Siwy was recommended by a woman who had Dr. Siwy do her breast reconstruction surgery after cancer. Six years later she is still extremely pleased. Dr. Siwy was described as a "surgeon's surgeon" by another physician. I couldn't agree more. My contact with Dr. Siwy and staff from first exam, through the insurance approval process, the surgery, and follow up until I was released from care has been exceptional. My surgery wasn't easy, I had scar tissue from 5 previous biopsies in which fibroid tumors were removed on the right breast and 4 previous biopsies on the left breast. I also needed special care from the anesthesiologist. I was told that Dr. Siwy is very particular who is in the room with her when she works. And, I am happy with the great job by Dr. Carelli of Northside Anesthesia I am ecstatic to have this surgery completed and the results are awesome.

He carefully listened to my needs and wants, and he provided thoughtful feedback on my options and the best route for me. We initially corresponded via Zoom, which I found very helpful and convenient since I'm in California and he's in Indiana. The distance was not a hindrance. He listened to what's important to me, such as scarring. His care went beyond the surgery. He made sure that I recovered and healed properly, so I had several post-op follow-ups. I did not have to fly back to Indiana. Zoom was sufficient, from my own experience. His staff, especially his nurse Jessica, were also very professional and cordial. I felt welcome. His office is very clean and equipped with current technology. Just as soon as I entered his office, I felt right away that the doctor took pride in his profession. I recommend managing your expectations. Before the surgery, the doctor and I had many conversations about any necessary adjustments until both of us felt comfortable with the results. I am very happy with the result. I highly recommend Dr. Barry Eppley.

Go to a more caring and kind practice. Review: I have been seeing Terri, his PA, for injections since I moved here. I had an appointment scheduled for the 21st of March that was cancelled because of the state closures. When I called when they reopened, I was told at first I wouldn't be able to get into see her until July. Then I was told that she was calling patients that were cancelled in order to reschedule and she was almost through them and I would receive a call by the end of the week. The end of the week came and I didn't receive a call. I sent an email asking for an update on when I should be expected to receive a call and admittedly was a little frustrated in the email because I was one of the first cancelled, was told that she was almost through Fallon all of her cancelled patients to reschedule them, she promised she would call me by Friday, and that I never received a call even though my appt was the same week the state closed down. I was very confused why the receptionist told me she was calling all of her patients in order or cancellation and Terri chimed in the background saying that she would call by Friday. I called on Tuesday asking for an update was able to be worked into June. I sent an email thanking them and apologizing for being frustrated and acknowledging that we are all undergoing challenges and that I was thrilled it worked out and I was worked in and that I expressed empathy for the pressure they're under with the new guidelines and emphasized with them. I'm in sales so I believe in always treating those who answer the phone just as kindly as everyone else. Today, I received an email saying I was being released from the practice because I wasn't patient and for how I treated office staff. There was a lot of communication from their office that caused confusion and I acknowledged that. I was accused of treating the office staff rudely over the phone when I was just trying to ask questions to understand when I should be expected to be worked in. I was never rude to anyone there. Please keep in mind I sent the most heartfelt email apologizing for misunderstanding what the receptionist said to me and emphasized with what they're going through and shared personal challenges I've run into with my own job trying to relate. It was so sincere and asked for forgiveness and said I love their staff and was so excited to get back in. I'm not sure if they're having to cut patients by revenue due to the new guidelines and I don't spend enough there. However, I am in disbelief that I was treated this way and that they released me. We are all trying to adjust and dealing with our own challenges during these times and need to have patience, empathy, and understanding that we may not be aware of their new guidelines and it might be helpful to communicate that when a patient calls in. Due to the way I was treated after always being so kind to everyone who worked there, I think it's important to share this experience just in case anyone is trying to get an appointment with anyone who provides services, they may not be able to adequately communicate the new rules they are under and how they're approaching it and to not take everything they say at their word because it might be changing every day and the front office might not be in align with the back office. I completely emphasize with everyone having to adjust the way they do business with the new guidelines and that it is probably very stressful, difficult to change systems, and get patients back in after being closed for months. However, I am in disbelief I was discharged especially after sending a sincere, heartfelt apology. I was even told that I need to learn a life lesson from this. After being a loyal patient and ALWAYS kind to everyone there, I DO NOT recommend a practice that treats their patients especially during a pandemic when everything is super confusing and us all having our own challenges and stress this way. I was treated extremely unfairly and it was clear they did not practice the art of forgiveness or empathy that they expect their patients to have for them. Not to mention. I haven't been in for injections since October. With them releasing me, it will take 3-4 months to get in with an experienced injector because those that are the best at what they do, are rescheduling their current patients and/or not accepting new patients at this time. Talk about inconsideration, adding more stress to the stress we all already have, and most importantly, not caring one single bit about their loyal patients who have been kind and spent a significant amount of money there. Go somewhere else. Please do not support them. If they treat me this way, they will do the same to you.

I had injectables performed at several other offices before finding Chegar and I have to say Terri is absolutely the best. Terri really is an artist and she takes tremendous care of her patients. I've also had other aesthetic procedures at Chegar and the care I've received is above my expectations, the results unparalleled. Marcie is exceptional and I highly recommend her and Terri. The staff at Chegar work hard to accommodate patients and follow all safety protocols during these challenging times.

She took before and after (photoshopped) photos and told me what to expect and we reviewed the costs. If I waited until October or later there was a prospective discount that might be available. I was willing to wait for that possibility. In September an availability became open with the aforementioned discount. Then I met with the doctor, head nurse, and Jamie again at my next appointment. Both Dr Greg Chernoff and Nurse Julie have been doing these procedures that I was selecting for 30 years. I was comfortable with everything they were telling me. My only concern was for the length of time for me personally to heal at that point. I figured it might be longer than normal due to my age. Everybody was extremely helpful and made me 100% comfortable with their process and procedures. Since I lived an hour away, they asked if I had time and we decided to do the the pre-op appointment at the same time. I learned my surgery was going to take five hours which is the longest I've ever been under general anesthesia. During the following week, I was able to get approvals from my primary care physician as well as the specialist that sees me for my worst chronic disease and get her approval too. The anesthesiologist approved the procedure with a weekend phone call. Nurse Julie had called me on the prior Sunday to review a lot of information as well. These people really go above and beyond what I am used to in the medical profession. Dr. Chernoff absolutely goes way beyond any expectations you would have to a point you have to tell your friends and family how amazingly he stands by his statement of "we're going to take real good care of you" which he stated to me several times before my surgery. He came through for me 1000% on everything. On my day of surgery, Wednesday September 28, I left the waiting area and went back to the pre-op bed on time and soon Dr. Chernoff visited me to go over what lay ahead. I had a couple of questions about recovery expectations. Then Dr. Himebstein, my anesthesiologist, came to review my medications, my blood work, and ask questions about my medical history. I did not have any questions for him because he covered everything so thoroughly. I woke up six hours later and Nurse Ellen took care of me for the rest of the day and all night. I was her only patient to take care of. There was one other overnight patient but he too had his own nurse. Soft drinks, snacks , and pain meds were available for whenever you needed them. Dinner was provided by a delivery service from Jimmy John's. I had Teddy Grahams for dessert. In the morning, I got checked out earlier than expected after visiting with Dr. Chernoff again. He again reaffirmed everything wet smoothly and I told him I was happy with the results. As a matter of fact the pain threshold was much lower than I had expected. We confirmed my next appointments for Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday mornings. I ended up checking into the Drury Plaza Hotel, only two stop lights from Chernoff Cosmetic Surgery, on Friday so I didn't have an hour commute every day and needless stress over I-465 daily traffic. I had thought about this plan before the surgery so I was prepared. Corinne, a 15 year employee, saw me every day except weekends and helped me immensely in the office with my post operative recovery on the following Friday, then Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of the following week. Dr Chernoff referred me to the Hyperbaric Oxygen Clinic for four oxygen treatments which helped with my healing and recovery immensely. I completed the four daily consecutive treatments on Friday, October 7th, as well as nine daily consecutive appointments with Chernoff Cosmetic Surgery on the same Friday. On Monday, October 10th, the rest of my sutures were removed. My healing and recovery are right on schedule. Now I will be seen once a week for the next month, then once a month for a few months. I'm still completely satisfied with the results, and with Dr. Chernoff and his awesome staff! Once I am completely healed, I will upload a new profile photo and you all can tell me what you think (if anyone is still reading my longest review, lol). See if you can figure out what procedures (2) I had done.
