They made me to pay $50 for checking alignment when no any other shops charge you for checking but charging for alignment. Be aware! Then they sad they can't align my front without installing a Cam Bolt Kit for $90 and $160 labor plus I need new front tires. So went to Schneider Tire to double check for free. They align my tires with no cam bolt kit and sad I can go another year on my tires with no problem. I was a lot happier.

I'm calling BS on these negative reviews. Not on their experience - that is what it is. But on how…read morethey interpret it. The conclusions drawn are of incompetence and impropriety. That is just not true. I've known these people for well over a decade. They have worked on my cars for nearly that long. One is my neighbor. They are honest, hardworking, kind, and very knowledgeable. Do they make mistakes? Sure. We all do. Could you get a better deal or a different diagnosis somewhere else? Again, sure. You should always get a second opinion before doing major work. On anything. Just as you would with a medical procedure. A different diagnosis or pricing doesn't impugn the integrity and expertise of MJ Brothers. If you want to be treated fairly by experienced professionals, come here. You are in good hands.

!!!!!!!!!!! I took my dad's 2011 Ford F-150 to Performance…read moreCare Car in Knightdale for a diagnostic. After keeping the truck for several days, they told us the engine was blown, had no compression, and needed to be replaced for over $9,000. That diagnosis was completely wrong. We took the truck to another mechanic for a second opinion and were told the issue was too much fuel at the spark plugs and that it only needed a basic tune-up. No blown engine. No compression loss. No $9,000 repair. Either this shop is incapable of properly diagnosing vehicles, or they were willing to recommend an unnecessary engine replacement. Either way, this is unacceptable. If we hadn't gotten a second opinion, we could have been talked into wasting thousands of dollars. Do not rely on this shop for major diagnostics without verifying elsewhere.

I went in for a diagnostic and was quoted $3,000 for brakes, rotors, calipers, a brake fluid flush,…read moreand a few other items. They claimed my front brakes needed replacing and recommended new rotors and calipers soon, but when I decided to check and replace them myself, everything looked perfectly fine. They also said the rear brakes needed replacement and suggested new rotors there too. The left backside pads still had at least half their life left, and while the rotors were slightly glazed, they were still in good condition. The only brakes that actually needed work were on the rear driver's side, and even then, only the pads needed replacing while the rotor looks like it may need to be replaced soon. Everything else they recommended was completely unnecessary. It is unbelievable they tried to charge that much for work that did not need to be done.

However, even though there were many cars ahead of me, the service technician did his absolute best to make sure that I got my car back the same day. Kudos to him for going above and beyond to meet my needs. I also like the fact that they provide Uber service within a few miles if you live close by. They had a driver drop me off at home and later pick me up when my car was ready. This was especially important to me because I didn't have anyone to pick me up at that time and it worked out well for my schedule.

The initial service I asked for…read moreprovided good work HOWEVER, upon my return to get additional services, it has been an absolute NIGHTMARE!!! I purchased a set of Faulken tires early 2023 (over$1,200) I have them installed and then I had an alignment and kept up with my maintenance. Last month I had a blow out on one of the tires (IT was worn) less than 10K miles on the tires. They would not replace it. And then I was told all the tires were bad....and should not be put on my car. After the salesperson (Shawn) ensured me that was an acceptable tire for my car. They blamed the distributor, then blamed my driving (I have state farm and I get a discount based ON A great DRIVING RECORD) they have given me the run around for 6 days. DO NOT BUY TIRES from these people. The ladies at the front desk even lied and told me that the saleperson was not there and call another employee (Shop manager) to look at the tires. He agreed that with less than 10K miles on a tire that has at least 50K mileage should not we wearing like that. then magically, the salesperson appears. I have all my paperwork to support this review. Maybe Monica from WRAL should visit this shop
