It's November and each year I deliver a bouquet or have a basket delivered to my last surviving auntie and uncle. She's my mom's kid sister. My parents have been gone over a decade yet every October I receive a birthday card with $50 from them, it's amazing. Doc had surprised us this year with a gorgeous basket and flowers from Roberta's. I decided to order from her this year. I placed the order on line and got a call from Roberta a couple hours later. By that afternoon I got a Thankyou from my uncle. He must be at least 90 years old. I asked for the basket to be delivered before Thanksgiving either this week or next. Roberta herself is 86 years old originally from Ewa. Her business is in town. How's that for a fast turn around? She said she is known as the Ribbon Lady. She takes pride in her creations and sent me the photo before the basket was delivered. When asked I said fall colors. She messaged me she tried to make it Happy. read more

The recipient is older and has diabetes so Roberta took this into account and put in extra effort to tend to that and deliver to him same day. Roberta was delightful to work with and very accommodating at no extra charge. Her customer's satisfaction is her priority. She even called me after delivery to make sure I was satisfied and express her appreciation. You cant go wrong with Roberta. read more

My friend, who lives in Honolulu, informed me that she would be retiring in two days. I live in CA and wanted to surprise her with a lovely gift basket. I ordered the Honolulu basket online on Roberta's website in the late afternoon. That evening, Roberta called me to confirm the order and upon hearing that my friend would be retiring in two days, she suggested the basket should be delivered the next day instead of the day after. Roberta said she will rush the order. She was so accommodating! I had requested red ribbon and a red anthurium instead of the green as pictured on the website. The gift basket arrived the next day and was so beautiful!! My friend was so surprised and just loved the basket! It was an absolute pleasure working with Roberta. She was thoughtful, caring, and her work was definitely 5 stars! Mahalo!! Highly recommend. read more

I can't recommend Roberta's enough. The website is dated, so the options there don't reflect what will be purchased, but just give her a call. I am so grateful to Roberta!!! Roberta made my Mom's Mother's Day very very special! Not only did Roberta make my Mom's Mother's Day special, she made MY Mother's Day special too, Thank you :) The week before Mother's Day was unusually busy for me and I didn't realize until the day before Mother's Day that I hadn't done anything for my Mom, YIKES!!! I live in Colorado so I googled Flower Shops in Waikiki and and started calling. Thank goodness either no one answered or they couldn't handle another Mother's Day order. When Roberta answered and I asked her if she could still do a Mother's Day order, she was so lovely and calm (not like the other flower shops I called), she said she had two orchid plants left. I was so relieved that I could still get something special for my mom, my mom is ill and I don't know how many more Mother's Day gifts I will get to buy her. I could hear her store was busy, but Roberta made me feel like I was the most important person in the world to her. She unhurriedly described both plants to me and they both sounded gorgeous. I was so happy that I bought them both! As I write this, I feel a bit bad because now I'm wondering if someone called her after me and now Roberta had nothing to offer them, I hope this didn't happen and I'm sorry if it did :( Roberta made a gorgeous display for my Mom, and she texted me a picture when she finished it. She even made a lovely and sentimental bow and texted me the meaning, which made this even more special. Normally I don't get excited or impatient, but I couldn't wait for my mom to get her gift! When I called my mom in early afternoon and she hadn't received them yet, I contacted Roberta to inquire when she thinks she'd be delivering them. Roberta returned my call and explained there was a traffic accident on the freeway and she was a little delayed (even though we didn't have a designated delivery time). For this delay, she even gave my mom home made cookies to go with her orchids, WOW!!! Roberta also told me that Mother's Day is very special to her and she was so happy I had called her and wanted to do something even more special for my mom that she upgraded the basket and added more things to it! I don't normally post reviews, but Roberta made this day so incredibly special and she alleviated my stress about not having something special for my Mom that I want everyone to know how appreciative I am and how amazing Roberta is. Hopefully I will be given an opportunity to post a picture because I want everyone to see what a beautiful gift Roberta made for my mom; here's the text Roberta sent me about the bow, "I hope your mom enjoys her garden. The bow is a continuous waterfall bow. The first for good health, the second one for happiness, and the third one for success." This too was extra special because my mom's health is so poor, and knowing the bow had special meaning made this so much more meaningful for me and for my mom when I read her Roberta's text. Roberta, thank you sooo much!!!! I will only buy my mom gifts from you for now on, I wish I knew more people on Oahu to buy gifts for. I am so glad I got you. You brought the Hawaiian Spirit of Aloha and meaning of Ohana to my mom, she was born and raised in Oahu and after moving to the mainland for most of her adult life, she returned back to Oahu to live the rest of her days. Thank you for giving her the feeling of "home" on this special day. I pray I will be able to order her flowers from you again next year, you are truly a very special person, I feel so much for you that I want to call you "Auntie" I want you to know it and I want the world to know it! For those reading this, if you got this far, I'm sorry it's so long. Thank you, Trish read more

I rarely take the time to write up reviews, but the experience I had with Roberta's Gift Basket & Floral was, put simply, exceptional! I found them online with many very positive reviews, saw a picture of a lovely basket on their website and then called to order a last minute Christmas gift basket for friends in Honolulu. Roberta, herself, answered and apologized that some of the basket items were already out of stock and wouldn't be in until the following week. She then gave me a referral to another business she recommended. (Who does that anymore?! How refreshing!) When I said I could wait and send the basket as a New Year's gift, she took all my information (but did not ask for my credit card) and said she would call me when all items were available and we could complete the order. Sure enough, she texted and called and was so kind in helping me and she and her team made a phenomenal gift basket. The recipients were beyond thrilled with all the local gourmet treats and sent me several pictures (and two videos!) of the basket and the cont. I had such lovely phone conversations with Roberta and enjoyed her kindness, thoughtfulness and a level of customer service support that is truly exceptional. She 'fit' the basket colors and contents to the recipient, she let me know when it had been delivered to the reception desk, and she followed up to ensure they enjoyed the gift. She didn't even process my payment until after delivery and she was ensured I was pleased. She and her team provide 'old school' customer care that just doesn't exist much nowadays. I can't wait for the next event/holiday so I can send my friends in Honolulu another gift from Roberta's shop! read more

I have been doing business with Roberta for over 10 years and she never failed me! She's very professional, an expert and tries to use local products first. Most of the time she's a one-man shop from taking orders, making orders and delivering them. She's been in the business for years so she knows her stuff and can make great recommendations. Even when sending to the hospitals, she knows what can and cannot be delivered and will tell you. She takes great pride in her work. Her shop is not visible from the street so best to call her. She has a website, but if you want to order, you'll need to call--unfortunately she doesn't have online ordering, but she'll give each order a personal touch! I've done single orders to 30+ basket orders during the holidays for business and I've never had one complaint, only compliments! Give her a try. read more
