Previous to the appt., I sent them my x-rays from August, but of course, they needed to take more. He suggested I get it done before the end of the year, but he had no availability to extract the tooth. The x-rays and consult was $190. He recommended Dr. Moe, an oral surgeon to extract the tooth. They scheduled an appt. for me today and Dr. Moe's office called me yesterday. They said they will need to take x-rays, as the ones they received from Dr. Makram's office weren't good enough (seeing a theme here) and they might need to do a "360-panoramic?" x-ray? Dr. Moe's office said they will need to charge me another $210 for a consultation and x-rays and I will have to come back for the extraction. I really question the integrity and ethics going on here of both offices. Every x-ray isn't good enough. In reading the other reviews, wow! consistent theme.

I don't know about you, but when I see extremely bad reviews I tend to think the person was just being extreme. This review is about the staff at SAGE - not a dentist. I never saw one because the experience with the staff gave me the insight to leave. It was a very bad experience for a scheduled appointment of cleaning and exam. Initially, the front desk couldn't find my appointment. The front desk person asked me, "are you sure you have an appointment?". Then the office manager had to help them to see my appointment. They told me "sit down". Next a person that looked like they just got off their bicycle, based on their clothing, asked me to follow her. That person asked me if I was a new patient. She could not find my previous visit history. When I kept insisting that I was there last year and was seen by a dentist that left the practice. (I could understand why the dentist would want to leave that practice). Last year the dentist gave me a written referral to visit a root canal specialist. Next the office manager came to help that person find my records and told me possibly I was confused. After twice being told that I was possibly confused I decided that I did not need to be insulted, and I walked out - (yes I have receipts from the prior year visit). If you are considering visiting Sage dental, my suggestion to you is to find another dental care provider so you will have a more peaceful day.

Well I've called and called! 5 calls and not a single response! I went to another dentist. He was amazed at what a botched job that was done. The wound is healing "poorly." Too much bone was removed and I was referred to an oral surgeon. He believes an implant is not possible without major surgery to move my sinuses. I am really upset at this business and they don't even bother to return my calls! Horrible!
