That was exactly how I felt walking into Park Family Dental. And for me, that's a BIG deal because I have pretty extreme dental anxiety from a childhood dental trauma. I originally went to Park Family Dental for a cleaning and a cosmetic consultation with Dr. Long, who I had researched extensively beforehand. The practice already had thousands of amazing reviews, but what really stood out to me was that Dr. Long is the only AACD Accredited cosmetic dentist in the area. That was especially important to me because I knew my case could be a little more complicated due to my childhood injury, and I really wanted someone with that level of training and expertise handling the cosmetic side of my treatment. My hygienist, Catalina, was so sweet and patient. She knew how nervous I was and made sure I was comfortable and relaxed the entire time. As it turned out, my case was definitely more complicated than I expected. What started as a cleaning and cosmetic consult uncovered a longstanding infection that I had absolutely no idea was there and ended up requiring some pretty extensive dental work. Being a medical professional myself, I was immediately impressed by the level of clinical expertise in this office. They were able to do a 3D CT scan right there, and I was able to consult with Dr. Macedo, who specializes in endodontic procedures. I ultimately needed multiple root canals as well as an apicoectomy with bone grafting. Dr. Macedo and her assistants, Miranda and Mary, were amazing. I honestly never knew it was possible to inject dental anesthetic without feeling a thing until Dr. Macedo did it! She and her team were incredibly gentle, patient and thorough and somehow made procedures that sounded absolutely terrifying to me go incredibly smoothly. Once all of that was taken care of, Dr. Long and his assistants Katia and David worked on the restorative and cosmetic part of my treatment, including the numerous crowns I needed. One of the things that really sets this office apart is that they have an on-site dental lab, which meant their ceramist, Lance, was able to be directly involved in creating my final smile. Lance is truly an artist. He and Dr. Long personally worked with me to make sure we got the shape, color and overall look exactly where I wanted it. I am honestly in awe of how my smile has been transformed. After everything that needed to be done, the final result is more than I could have hoped for. I won't go so far as to say I actually look forward to going to the dentist , but in just a few short weeks, the entire team at Park Family Dental managed to put fears I've had since childhood almost completely at ease. Considering they got me through root canals, an apicoectomy, bone grafting and extensive restorative and cosmetic dental work during that time, that is saying A LOT! I really can't say enough about this office. From Loyse at the front desk, to Catalina, Dr. Macedo, Miranda, Mary, Dr. Long, Katia, David and Lance, I felt like everyone genuinely cared about both the medical outcome and making sure I was comfortable throughout the process. The first cleaning I had with Hygienist Alyson (a year or two ago) went the same as Stephanie describes - - Alyson was rude, unprofessional, condescending and has a nasty bedside manner. She is not pleased to have to deal with any medical issues a client may have. Due to vertigo and sinus problems, I am unable to be reclined back as far as she would like, yet she has no concern for anything but her own comfort. Likewise, the appointment setter, Claudia, is rude and obnoxious, stating that she told you something last time you were there, when she DID NOT. I was called less than a week before my six month cleaning and told that it would be a deep cleaning as discussed. They "mentioned" wanting to do it; but I NEVER AGREED to it - - and now they say they will no longer treat me if I don't have it done. I asked to speak with the dentist by phone and was told that I would have to make an appointment to see him in person, rather than a telephone call. I really only wanted to speak to him further about the procedure itself and privately question his staff's behavior, but because of Claudia's rudeness and pushiness, I decided to come here to let everyone know about my feelings publicly. Additionally, during the last visit, the dentist mentioned a small light colored area near one of my teeth near the gum (it has been there for years) and the dentist gave me a card to go see his buddy, a dental surgeon, to have a look at it. Two years ago, they stopped taking my insurance (claiming it was a slow payer), but I loyally stayed with them, and submitted repayments to my insurance myself for reimbursement; so now, all of a sudden, Claudia calls me a week before my appointment telling me I have good insurance and it will only be $35 for the deep cleaning. Furthermore, they will no longer treat me if I don't get it done. Could it be that they lost so many long-time clients they decided to again take my insurance? Working the system much? Poor business practices at the very least.

I can't say enough about the excellent care i am receiving. They are communicating with my physician in Port Charlotte as to my specific health concerns. They go to great lengths to make sure that my visits are as pleasant as possible and I am comfortable. Exceptional service all the way around. It's like I am flying first class on an airline. I am totally blown away by the waiting room. Those are real orchids. The wall of imported marble. The interior designer did an outstanding job throughout the office with artwork and decors, creating a relaxing environment for the patients as well as the staff. Beyond exceptional in every way!

Harbor Dental had the results from all 3 of our family members, and before making the 1st appointment, I was assured this would not be a problem, this was just the 1st incident that I disputed). Despite that, additional services were added to the bill without prior discussion of cost or informed consent. Patients deserve transparency and respect for their preferences and coverage limits. If you go here, insist on a written treatment plan and itemized estimate before any work is performed, and verify coverage in advance.

You have to listen and take action when problems arise. I had to get 3 new crowns and hope teeth could be saved. Kendra gave me an estimate of what my insurance would pay and also what I would have to pay. TRANSPARENT. Then I asked Kendra about a summer special they were running on Denistry needs I saw on website which she verified and did not know and BAM. I was happy about total price. Kendra was awesome. Flexible got me a 7:00 AM appointment to complete 2 crowns on 7/21/26. Well today was the day. Dr Natalia and Cley the dental assistant completed a seemless 2 crown tooth cleanup installation that I am HAPPY about. Cley and Dr Natalia were a team and kept things moving. It was my first dental procedure with Dr Natalia. She was honest with past evidence of my dental short coming that I did not address. However, I have been a patient there for a little over five years and have had four crowns installed in that time period. Each of the dentists and their assistants have been absolutely terrific. This month, I had Dr. Tracy Couillard as my primary dentist, and Sofia, as her assistant. They could not have been more caring or more professional. I am a difficult patient (hard for them to get my tooth numb) and they were very understanding (and quick once it was numbed!) It is now two days after the installation of permanent crown and I have no discomfort whatsoever. I just read a couple of negative reviews, and I can tell you that I never experienced anything but pleasant and professional care from this practice, including the extraordinary front desk staff (Carolina, Barbara and others). Setbacks wrong , setback on teeth too far forward or to far backwards. He will leave the horozonal centerline slanted. High on one side and low on the other. A slanted bite. I saw 5 people in the waiting room with slanted bite , half tooth off centerline, setback wrong just like he did to me. ​​people were complaining to me and saying they have been comming a year over and over again replacing crooked teeth with crooked teeth and never getting teeth right and pressuring people into signing for finals then putting then Dr Pinkhavov putting crooked teeth in them keeping thier money. Leaving alot including me having to go somewhere else to spend another 30,000.00 to have a good oral surgeon to remove wobbly implants and make straight teeth. Use a credit card so you can file a dispute when he famously puts crooked teeth and wobbly implants in you. Because that's the only way to try to get your money back. It's a shame actually. I have recording of my visits on my phone recording in my pocket to prove what I say. Plus at least 100 written documents as proof as well.. Liz came back in room, she said great news, Cherry finance gave us (she means her and Rodion Pinkhasov) $6,650.00 so she had me pay her $350.00 out of my bank acct that day. When I was home I asked Liz by text , so I need to bring over $23,000.00 on day of procedure? She said yes. I told her I was not going thru with procedure. She said well they are keeping the $6,650.00 ! I have not been back so Cherry finance has took over $2000.00 out of my bank acct (for absolutely nothing mind you ) & cherry says I'm late on my payment (they probably have ruined my credit now for no procedure what so ever!) because I have stopped them from letting them take $ out of my acct !!!! Meanwhile, I havent had not 1 thing done there ! I havent went back!! I would tell anyone thinking about using Naples Dental & Wellness & Rodion Pinkhasov to RUN & I do mean run the other way !
