Worst dentist EVER. Refused to listen to what I was saying. I don't know how with her ethics she can call herself caring!

We are surprised by your response to my review, I just hoped that Julia herself would have taken…read morethe time time to write the response instead of someone else. I NEVER said that other offices told me that everything looked good. They told me exactly what was in the original review so please stop lying. Yes, I do utilize yelp as a platform to criticize or give praise objectively. It is what yelp is used for. I want to be able to let people know the facts as they happened that way they can make a well informed decision. Yes, it is very disheartening that a client/customer of over seven years that Julia would simply state that she did the best that she could with the canvass that she had and that my situation was NOT correctable. That alone meant that there was no more "glady to work with you and address your concerns". Meanwhile, check out the updated pic of my new teeth that were "not correctable". I didn't even have to be subjected to potential "facial paralysis" as my new dentist did a phenomenal job. Still out $7900 that your office owes me. Nonetheless, we wish you all the best and hope that you get better, and continue to grow your business practices, and your ethical decision making ability. Warm regards

Things have changed here. New, young dentists, cocky. Same with their assistants. Have had tooth…read morethat dentists for 17 years have told me need pulled. No issues with it. The tooth recently became abscess. Went to Dr Folke. Have been going here for a few years, apparently my dentist left. This kid, he says "we have been telling you this tooth would be a problem, you need to go to endodontist, its an infection". This was a wed late afternoon. I said I think he should give me an antibiotic, I am in pain. Since all dentists seem to work only 4 days a week now, whats my chances of getting into endodontist? Dr Folke said NO! I went home crying, trying to get into endodontist. Couldnt get appt for 2 weeks. Some were 4 weeks. Found a dentist on Thurs who said I desperately needed antibiotics and prescribed them. Was shocked Fantastic dental didnt give me one.By Friday infection had spread to my face. It was completely swollen, 1 eye almost swollen shut. Had to go to Emergency room. They put me on a 2nd antibiotic, gave me a shot of antibiotics and pain killer and a steroid. They said infection had spread quickly and was bad and to get to endodontist asap. Endodontist got me in "earlier" just for consult. Still had to wait 2 weeks for appts and was put on another round of antibiotics. My family will never go back to fantastic dental. When I asked Dentist and he said no, he commented I should have gotten it taken care of when they told me earlier. He smirked and so did his assistant. it reminded me of the nazi jab pushers. If I listened to dentists, I would have lost this tooth 17 years ago. Dentists want to make money. Its not about your well being. And guess what. Both the other dentist i went to & endodontist said the tooth was saveable. His oath is to do what is needed and I needed an endodontist, yes, obviously. But More than that I needed antibiotics! Instead, I got a massive infection in my face and bones and a ER bill over $10K. I dont regret waiting. 17 years is a long time.

They run a dishonest practice. I had my very first appointment on a Thursday with Dr. Alexis who was actually very good. I made an appointment to go back on Friday, as in the next day at 12 for Dr. Alexis. I was practically forced to come back on Friday. I got a call around 10am telling me the dr. Was running late and to come 12:30pm so I wouldn't have to wait!! Ok great. But I get there and the dr I had the appointment with wasn't there but the "Owner", Dr. Phan. She had to let me know. I do not care she was the owner. She had the personality of a mean woman and I didn't know her. My appointment was with the dr I met the day before. I politely said, no, I will reschedule when the dr. I met and liked is back. Well that was a problem for the narcissistic Dr. Phan. Why when they called me to tell me the Dr. was running late, why didn't they tell me it was a different Dr because the dr I did have an appointment with was "out sick". I would have never wasted my time to go there to see a dentist I have never met before to do any work on my teeth. How self centered could Dr. Phan think it would be ok to do this? To make matters worse, I got a bill from Dr. Phan yesterday saying I owed $69 for missing my appointment. First, I was there. I don't miss my appointment. Rather I was being bullied into having to have an appointment with "the owner" Second, I didn't have an appointment with Dr. Phan!!!! If I could give zero stars I would!!

I stated clearly -multiple times- that I only wanted basic X-rays and cleanings covered by my insurance for my family members, as we have good dental health. (We had full mouth X-rays at another office. Insurance only pays for these every 5 years. Harbor Dental had the results from all 3 of our family members, and before making the 1st appointment, I was assured this would not be a problem, this was just the 1st incident that I disputed). Despite that, additional services were added to the bill without prior discussion of cost or informed consent. Patients deserve transparency and respect for their preferences and coverage limits. If you go here, insist on a written treatment plan and itemized estimate before any work is performed, and verify coverage in advance.

They identified no issues, stating jaw was fine. They were in constant contact with receptionist. Receptionist then spent 15-20 min. trying to sell me a home sleep apnea test. I declined. Receptionist charged $150 to my credit card. Provide receipt (like cash register receipt). Upon returning home, I immediately called office to indicate I did not receive an itemized bill. Receptionist indicated "Oh, most of our customers don't want that". I indicated I did, please send. Upon receipt, I noted a $35 charge for a 'radiograph' not received. I contacted office immediately regarding this fraudulent billing. I requested a reimbursement check. I called the following week when check not received. Receptionist indicated the check would be sent "when they process checks". I called again 11/12/24 to report check still not received. Receptionist stated "Everything goes out after the first of the month". (It was well beyond USPS delivery time). As of 12/2/24, check still not received and we are now into the NEXT month! Obviously, this fraudulent billing was purely intentional; thus the reason for failure to provide itemized billing. Many/most customers may not notice if they do not call for itemized bill. Reimbursement for $35 fraudulent credit card charge IMMEDIATELY due!!! Customers/potential customers BEWARE of this dentist office!! ENSURE YOU REVIEW AN ITEMIZED BILL!!!
