When I later received my monthly statement from Delta Dental, it clearly showed that a payment of approximately $600 had been issued to Naples Dental and Implant Center. I contacted Naples Dental and Implant Center to inquire about this payment, and they denied ever receiving it. I then contacted Delta Dental directly and was informed that the insurance payment had, in fact, been issued to the dental office. I was scheduled to have my lower teeth extracted at Naples Dental and Implant Center once my physicians in Boston provided medical authorization. However, after being deprived of a refund of approximately $600 and receiving conflicting and inaccurate information regarding the insurance payment, I lost all trust in this practice and could not proceed with further treatment.

I have always been a little self-conscious about my smile but absolutely terrified of the dentist…read more I would avoid going at all cost! For this reason, I never pursued the option of straightening my teeth. That is.. until I met Dr. Debi Strand. Debi and I first met at a networking lunch event through the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce. I thought that I was a busy bee until I met her! We began to see each other everywhere and quickly became great friends. Hearing her talk about her product and the impact that it makes on peoples lives was inspiring and I knew I wanted to give it a shot! So we did a consultation and before I knew it I was wearing braces!! Entering the office of Dr. Debi is unlike any experience I have ever had. It certainly does not feel like a dental office. Beautiful wood floors, meticulously laid tiles in the bathroom, dental chair that massages you, bright open and cheerful.. She put a lot of thought into her patient experience. I have to say that I have never enjoyed ANYTHING about going to the dentist but going to see Dr. Debi was a pleasurable experience. Spending time there was anything but uncomfortable.. in fact.. it was a lot of unexpected fun!!! I looked forward to the "chair talk" and seeing the drastic results from visit to visit. What makes the experience so much fun is how excited Dr. Debi is to show you your results (which are absolutely unbelievable). What people wait years for with regular braces and Invisalign can be accomplished in a matter of months with Dr. Debi. I cannot say that the experience was not uncomfortable... but after each visit and seeing my before and after pictures... it has been 100% worth it. No one can say that Dr. Debi does not know what they are going through when she puts these braces on! She had them put on herself so she could "walk in her patient's shoes and truly understand their concerns". What an amazing thing to do for your clients! I highly recommend Dr. Debi Strand. She is an amazing dentist. Her expertise and professionalism are one to be reckoned with. You will be amazed with the quick transformation and extremely impressed with your results! I was! I got my braces off today and I could not be a happier girl! It only took 4 months for my teeth to straiten with Dr. Debi and now I have a perfect, beautiful smile! I cannot thank her enough!! I really wanted to do this for myself... Do something nice for myself. Working with Dr. Debi was one of the best decisions that I have ever made and now I have a perfect smile! You know that feeling when you walk into an office, see the bright smile of the person at the front…read moredesk and immediately feel a little more at ease? That was exactly how I felt walking into Park Family Dental. And for me, that's a BIG deal because I have pretty extreme dental anxiety from a childhood dental trauma. I originally went to Park Family Dental for a cleaning and a cosmetic consultation with Dr. Long, who I had researched extensively beforehand. The practice already had thousands of amazing reviews, but what really stood out to me was that Dr. Long is the only AACD Accredited cosmetic dentist in the area. That was especially important to me because I knew my case could be a little more complicated due to my childhood injury, and I really wanted someone with that level of training and expertise handling the cosmetic side of my treatment. My hygienist, Catalina, was so sweet and patient. She knew how nervous I was and made sure I was comfortable and relaxed the entire time. As it turned out, my case was definitely more complicated than I expected. What started as a cleaning and cosmetic consult uncovered a longstanding infection that I had absolutely no idea was there and ended up requiring some pretty extensive dental work. Being a medical professional myself, I was immediately impressed by the level of clinical expertise in this office. They were able to do a 3D CT scan right there, and I was able to consult with Dr. Macedo, who specializes in endodontic procedures. I ultimately needed multiple root canals as well as an apicoectomy with bone grafting. Dr. Macedo and her assistants, Miranda and Mary, were amazing. I honestly never knew it was possible to inject dental anesthetic without feeling a thing until Dr. Macedo did it! She and her team were incredibly gentle, patient and thorough and somehow made procedures that sounded absolutely terrifying to me go incredibly smoothly. Once all of that was taken care of, Dr. Long and his assistants Katia and David worked on the restorative and cosmetic part of my treatment, including the numerous crowns I needed. One of the things that really sets this office apart is that they have an on-site dental lab, which meant their ceramist, Lance, was able to be directly involved in creating my final smile. Lance is truly an artist. He and Dr. Long personally worked with me to make sure we got the shape, color and overall look exactly where I wanted it. I am honestly in awe of how my smile has been transformed. After everything that needed to be done, the final result is more than I could have hoped for. I won't go so far as to say I actually look forward to going to the dentist , but in just a few short weeks, the entire team at Park Family Dental managed to put fears I've had since childhood almost completely at ease. Considering they got me through root canals, an apicoectomy, bone grafting and extensive restorative and cosmetic dental work during that time, that is saying A LOT! I really can't say enough about this office. From Loyse at the front desk, to Catalina, Dr. Macedo, Miranda, Mary, Dr. Long, Katia, David and Lance, I felt like everyone genuinely cared about both the medical outcome and making sure I was comfortable throughout the process. If you are looking for an exceptional cosmetic dentist, have a complicated dental case, or are someone who has dental anxiety like I do, I cannot recommend Park Family Dental enough.

Long story short, I found this practice on Yelp. They had fabulous reviews. I called and got an appointment within two days (it was not an emergency). It was good I went in, because I had bacteria and debris that had worked its way under the crown and it was irritating my gum, etc. He was able to clean that out and probably saved me from getting an infection and having a much bigger problem. Dr. Stanosheck was very kind as well as knowledgeable, and his office staff was extremely nice and welcoming. I would recommend this practice to anyone without reservation.

I have given much thought to writing a review but I want to share with you the good and not so good…read moreexperiences I have had with Dr. Hernandez. First, Dr. Hernandez is a very talented dentist. He has a very friendly personality and he has surrounded himself with similar assistants in his practice. He uses all the state of the art equipment and techniques and has a very clean and modern office. He has done several procedures on my teeth and my wife's and in general I have been quite satisfied. However, the last two visits did not leave me with positive feelings. I went back for a follow-up appointment to have two implants he had done earlier checked on. They were healing fine but a little more time was needed before proceeding with putting crowns on. Being a snow bird I was scheduled to leave for Ct for the summer so I decided to have the crowns put on there. When that dentist took x-rays he informed me that the implants were not parallel, as they should be, and one was tilted toward the back of my mouth. He did say he could compensate for this but it should not have happened to begin with. Also, at the time of the follow-up appointment, Dr. Hernandez probed two other teeth (22 & 27) which had crowns. When he took the probe out of my mouth he showed me some white substance on the end of the pick which he said was puss. He said that was an indication of an infection. He said he would need to take the crown off of 27 to clean up the area and he advised he should do the same thing with 22 to make sure that did not happen with that tooth also. On the way out I made an appointment for three weeks later. As I drove home I thought why, if I had an infection, he did not prescribe an antibiotic or ask his assistant to set up a return appointment sooner. When I got to CT I had two other dentists look at tooth #27 only to be told, by both, that there was no sign of an infection. Dr. Hernandez was not honest about this situation. I have found, over time, there are two types of dentists. Conservative and aggressive. Dr. Hernandez fits the latter. He would like you to have as good looking set of teeth as possible albeit that some procedures to get there may not be necessary. Because he was going to take two crowns off that was totally unnecessary, at a cost of 1-2 thousand dollars to have new ones made, I will not be going back to him. In general I would recommend Dr. Hernandez but make sure you are comfortable with what he wants to do and if you are not, obtain a second opinion. For me, when someone is not truthful with me I lose respect for them. I will find another dentist in the future.
