Im not the one to Write a bad Review but i had a terrible experience …read more.. My opinion is if you are a professional provider your staff wouldnt have a bad attitude and be rude when a patient is asking questions ... I waited 30 minutes for dentist to assess then he numbed me and didnt come back for over 50 minutes i then asked my wife to check what was going on and the response they gave to me was short and i explained i didnt feel like i was getting the best service instead of being empathetic they just told me to get the procedure done somewhere else after already stabbing me in the mouth and numbing me Probally the most unprofessional experience ive ever had with a professional ... The dentist is already an uncomfortable place being friendly and empathetic may be something the staff should learn ...

Sad to say this Dr D Amelio came highly recommended and started with an emergency over the phone…read morethe night before seeing him as a compassionate guy.. Nope, if he would have handled my tooth issue in the beginning I would not have had two small surgeries and the second round of antibiotics and two weeks of pain. His staff threw instruments in the drawer after conferring with him and never told me problem until he up and refused to treat me. He uses his very hard working office manager, Ashley to do ALL his talking. The best and brightest spot in the office. Financial and medical advice comes from her. He did return my money after refusing to treat me and after walking out of exam room three times yelling, yes yelling at me. Next stop florida Board of Dentistry. I do not want any one patient to get in the type of medical situation that I am in.!!!

I have been a client for over 10 years, and have seen the decline since Dr. Ashton retired and sold…read morehis practice. It has become nothing but push, push, push for additional services other than typical twice a year cleanings. I like Dr. Mourselas and think he is a good dentist but ... I echo the sentiments of Stephanie G, Abigail K, Kjellaug Y, and Pete M. The first cleaning I had with Hygienist Alyson (a year or two ago) went the same as Stephanie describes - - Alyson was rude, unprofessional, condescending and has a nasty bedside manner. She is not pleased to have to deal with any medical issues a client may have. Due to vertigo and sinus problems, I am unable to be reclined back as far as she would like, yet she has no concern for anything but her own comfort. Likewise, the appointment setter, Claudia, is rude and obnoxious, stating that she told you something last time you were there, when she DID NOT. I was called less than a week before my six month cleaning and told that it would be a deep cleaning as discussed. They "mentioned" wanting to do it; but I NEVER AGREED to it - - and now they say they will no longer treat me if I don't have it done. I asked to speak with the dentist by phone and was told that I would have to make an appointment to see him in person, rather than a telephone call. I really only wanted to speak to him further about the procedure itself and privately question his staff's behavior, but because of Claudia's rudeness and pushiness, I decided to come here to let everyone know about my feelings publicly. Additionally, during the last visit, the dentist mentioned a small light colored area near one of my teeth near the gum (it has been there for years) and the dentist gave me a card to go see his buddy, a dental surgeon, to have a look at it. Two years ago, they stopped taking my insurance (claiming it was a slow payer), but I loyally stayed with them, and submitted repayments to my insurance myself for reimbursement; so now, all of a sudden, Claudia calls me a week before my appointment telling me I have good insurance and it will only be $35 for the deep cleaning. Furthermore, they will no longer treat me if I don't get it done. Could it be that they lost so many long-time clients they decided to again take my insurance? Working the system much? Poor business practices at the very least.

I watched her running around saying she was trying to get Cherry finance to give them $ towards procedure I needed. I didnt understand why since I was planning on making payments anyway ! Liz came back in room, she said great news, Cherry finance gave us (she means her and Rodion Pinkhasov) $6,650.00 so she had me pay her $350.00 out of my bank acct that day. When I was home I asked Liz by text , so I need to bring over $23,000.00 on day of procedure? She said yes. I told her I was not going thru with procedure. She said well they are keeping the $6,650.00 ! I have not been back so Cherry finance has took over $2000.00 out of my bank acct (for absolutely nothing mind you ) & cherry says I'm late on my payment (they probably have ruined my credit now for no procedure what so ever!) because I have stopped them from letting them take $ out of my acct !!!!
