The staff was great . Although the office was not a good fit for me I had adjustments done 2x without being prepped (no heat , ultrasound or tens machine used) I felt like I had been in a car accident after the adjustments. I came to the office for numbness on my fingertips and toes and headaches pain on my back. My pain got worse after each adjustments. I did ask Dr. Martines if they provide heat , ultrasound or tens machine to prepare my body and neck to be more relaxed before the adjustments. He said they got rid of those years ago because they were a temporary fix My neck and body were stiff applying that would've made me less sore after the adjustments. And I was looking for a pay as you go office coz the package was expensive too. I finally found a place in San Jose (Thrive 20/20) they do the heat, ultrasound, tens machine, massage machine to make your body relaxed and get ready for an adjustment staff is great. I also felt better after. They have a lot of equipments and different therapies and techniques even a cryo tank , PT and massage therapist and they are very high tech all my patient application was done online you can download Xrays there too. All these equipment and services for far less the price Dr. Martines charged me . At Thrive 20/20 you can also can pay as you go and they can see you or buy a package for 80% less than what Dr. Martines office packages offered. If you can't commit to Dr.'s package you just get the Groupon exam Xrays , 4 adjustments and that's it. read more

I strongly recommend Robert Martines him and his staff are very welcoming and attentive I been very happy with results.

I got less than zero help with him. He insisted on my husband being at my appointment where he outlines how bad my back was, how dangerous it was & other fearful things, and I needed this help immediately. He would not touch me until we had paid a $5,000 fee up front before starting any help. The scare tactic worked, in fear, we signed up. I got no help on my back. Every visit was awful as he places tables like in a theater, with chairs around of the waiting patients. They see & hear everything, no privacy. So Dr. Marines goes very quickly, from table to table, adjusting.. which I never ever once felt better for or improved. I was told I could ask for a private room but when I did, my request was denied. His adjustments lasted about 30 seconds to 1 minute with no soft-tissue work to help with any adjustment that might have occurred. Run from this office. Do not go here. I do not understand how there are good reviews, the 'work' there just doesn't fit how real chiropractic is done. So sorry I ever went there, I'm $5,000 poorer. Clearly in it for the money. read more

I had a pain in the upper side of my leg that was so bad that it was hard for me to get in and out of bed. My medical doctor diagnosed me with bursitis and referred me to physical therapy. I went for 6 visits and didn't notice any difference- the pain was still there. I then decided to see a chiropractor and after doing a "Yelp" search I decided to see Dr. Martines. When I got there, I was greeted by a very friendly staff.
