The building is easy to find, and they have a parking lot. The check-in and wait was quick. There's a pen cup with breasts on it, and the pink pens are super cute. There's only one paper to fill out if you've done the online registration beforehand. Then you go to a room with a nurse and go thru some details (family history etc). She takes you to a small dressing room where you get into a gown and put your stuff in a cute, secure locker. Here's the only drawback: The gown ties in the middle so you have to clutch it closed or your chest will be exposed in the waiting room. Also, the gown doesn't have pockets, so there's no place to put your locker key. (I tucked mine in my bun bc I was wearing leggings that didn't have pockets.) NOTE FOR FUTURE SELF: Bring 2 pins, one to close top of gown for waiting room and walking around between rooms, the second to pin your locker key to your gown or pants (or wear pants or a skirt with pockets). Or wear one of those wrist/armbands with a small pocket (for running or hiking or whatever). I had a sonogram then a 3D mammography. The care was gentle and, well, caring. You get your results before you leave, so no stressing out waiting. 110% recommend MBC! PS: To the reviewer who didn't get an appointment bc THEY didn't call HER to make an appointment? Like, that's not even a thing. (Also, no friends, only 1 review, and created her account in January just to post this negative review, even tho she lives in San Francisco? Looks like her review is the bad apple in the bunch.) OH YEAH, I have to mention they took my insurance and I just had a $xx copay. When I first found this place I was worried it would be out-of-pocket and I wouldn't be able to afford it. If you're nervous, don't be. Just go!

Please don't learn the hard way like I did, you can't afford to not work with an office that has compassion consideration, and most importantly, the ability to care for you as a patient. A proper consent process and aftercare process is mandatory and they aren't even capable of providing that, please beware, your health and financial livelihood is only import to you when working with this office as gross negligence is their baseline.

When you meet with Dr. Strom he explains in great detail the procedure, what he expects from you, what you should expect from him. His nutritionist is very nice and she explains a lot of health benefits and what the steps to take throughout the procedure and she gives you a packet that gives you great detail on the steps to take throughout the liquid stage and the puree stage ,that gradually takes you to regular food stage . After the surgery the staff calls to check on you to make sure you're okay and you're not in pain . All of my follow-up visits have been nothing but excellent . You're never in the waiting room waiting longer than 15 minutes and once you're called in the back your in the room 2 minutes tops before Dr Strom or one of his associates come in to speak with you . If you're looking for a great doctor with great Associates, coming here will be the best decision you'll make and if you're hesitant on having the surgery still come for your consultation let him explain what the benefits of having the surgery is and the steps that he will take during the surgery and what are the steps he expect you to take after the surgery .
