i was told they take 15% out of your settlement. I was told on the phone I was getting 25,000. when I got there I was getting 16,000. I lost my dog from the accident and it bothered me thinking about it, and I was broke. I signed the paper and shook a ladies hand and left after talking to a man I forget the name of. Being honest apparently isnt important to them. I appreciate the money, but that didn't rub me the right way. Thinking about it sometimes I get upset. read more

I was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in December of 2021 due to being rear ended while stopped at a red light. I wound up with a severely fractured left hip and several fractured vertebrae in my back, and am still suffering from those injuries to this day (plus sciatic nerve and lower back pain). I hired Robert K Young & Associates to represent me very soon after the accident. Gary Young assured me from the start that he'd do everything he could to get me a fair settlement amount in light of the serious injuries I sustained. I had high hopes initially given the defendant admitted 100% fault. Unfortunately, those high hopes dwindled rather quickly. I expected Gary to be much more aggressive than he actually was. Instead of having some backbone to stand up for me and fight for fair compensation, he advised me to just take the latest offer to avoid going to court. Taking the easy way out obviously required a lot less effort from him. Towards the end, his tone of voice also made me feel like I was bothering him whenever we spoke. If you're looking for a lawyer who will fight for you like a Pitbull, look elsewhere. What I got was a Chihuahua. He assured me several times, "Don't worry, it'll all work out." My share of the settlement amount wasn't even $65,000. It'll all work out, really?? Not exactly. Absolutely disgraceful, he should be ashamed of himself. They advertise on their website they obtained a $1,350,000 settlement for a dog bite victim they represented, yet I didn't receive anywhere near that amount and my injuries were much more severe. I can't express how disappointed I am in this law firm. STAY AWAY AND SPREAD THE WORD!!! read more

I strongly advise you not to use this practice. Gary Young did not respect his clients wishes and kept harassing her to pursue a case which she had dropped. When I called him on the phone, he yelled at me then hung up. If someone recommends this office, ask someone else to point you in the right direction. read more

Best personal injury law firm in NY!! Gary, Bob, and Jack get the job done. No automated voicemail, you always get a real person on the phone. No case too big, no case too small. In addition to my own car accident case, I have had several friends who have gone through this law firm for various reasons, and they all were extremely satisfied. Also, the girls who work in the office are hawwwt. Not like that matters when it comes to getting a case settled...but it sure doesnt hurt. Cellino and Barnes? Pffffft. I'l take Young & Associates any day of the week. read more

Gary and his team handled two of my personal injury cases. Gary and Jonathan were always upfront and transparent with me. They always made themselves available whenever I had a question or a concern . They checked on me at least once a week to see how my treatment was going. This made feel at ease and real comfortable. As a client of Gary Young and Robert Young & Associates in Merrick, my wife and I had a personal injury lawsuit and hired them to represent us. Wife had a documented fracture, with proven x-rays and written reports, all submitted to the firm. We received NO compensation after a year and a half of litigation. Negative experience. read more

Beware!! I was referred here by a buddy that I work with, Ive had a few accidents and used other lawyers in the past. I tried these lawyers out and it was not my best decision. I ended up knowing more then the lawyer that showed up on my case. What a joke read more

When asked to provide documentation of the work supposedly done, none could be produced. Despite this, the grievance committee claimed no professional misconduct occurred. In my opinion, this is unethical and unacceptable. Just because something may not "violate a rule" doesn't mean it's right. Please be cautious and insist on transparency and written documentation of all services from any attorney you hire. You deserve honest, accountable representation.

Being involved in a MVA and having my car totaled was hard, but the pain I sustained made it much more difficult. As a woman with previous health conditions I knew the burden of proof with regard to my injuries would be difficult. I was recommended to this law firm through a friend at work. From the moment I walked in I was completely impressed with the attention and confidence expressed to me by Gary Young. I was more then fortunate to have Jack Cutrone placed in charge of my case. He was an intelligent gentleman and possessed an impressive knack of keeping me calm. Through the entire process Mr Cutrone kept me completely informed and that was very impressive. you should never,i repeat never use this law firm. these people are the worst ever. my lawyer settled the case without even knowing me or how bad i was hurt. they did not even get me enough to cover my expenses. when i approached jack other partner he said to me well at least you did not get hurt. he did not know me or my case. i bet he did not even look at my file!! he got me a 10th of i should of got. never being able to walk again properly by the way and never being able to run again!! so if you want a lawyer that couldn't give a crap about you also charge also $800 for 2 (yes 2) photo copies then these are your lawyers. again mr. young's partner jack stay far the hell away from him!!!!!!! read more

I only gave one star because it would not allow me to not give at least one. This is the MOST racist group of attorneys ever!!! Their staff is comprised of the most airheaded uncouthed girls on the face of this earth. They robbed us blind. Of our $12,000.00 law suit we only received $4,000.00. They never returned phone calls, they were always out to lunch or leaving early, whenever I asked qiestions They said they'd get back to me and NEVER did! The one time they initiated a call they told me not to show up in court. I listened and they told me that they lost the arbitration and that the additional monies due me would not be paid. They are straight up THIEVES!!! DO NOT USE THIS LAW FIRM EVER!!! read more

M girlfriend was hurt in a car accident and Gary and his associates made everything easy, they keep us informed and were with her all the way through her back surgery, they really stood up for her and put the time in to get and amazing settlement of 650,000.
