As an RN, I personally look for professional care, explanation of any interventions and what to expect if I did not have knee replacement surgery and if I did. I was his patient for about 5 years doing all sorts of things to minimize the pain (steroid injections, stem cells, Physical Therapy, etc) and when we decided that all of those have failed- having surgery would be the best option. The care I received from his staff (referral, payments, follow up) prior to and during surgery with his PA Jeff Spivey was a 10/10. My knee pain is minimal and cannot wait until I can do surgery on my right knee (which wills be done by Dr. Lovria). When searching for an Orthopedic Surgeon, ask questions, ask about infection rates (his is ZERO) and feel confident that your surgeon answers all your questions and gives you treatment options. Dr. Lovria did all of these for me! I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lovria!!

Communication was difficult, but I always give the benefit of the doubt. I had to go to MFM to get a dating ultrasound, and it took 2 weeks to even get them to properly send the fax report. In fact, I believe they ended up calling in the referral. I didn't have anything else with them until my 12 week appointment, as that is usually when midwifery care starts. My 12 week appointment they took blood (that I never received results from and still do not know what they collected) and sent me on my way. I lost the baby before my next appointment. That is a whole other story, but I ended up calling my midwife while in the emergency room, and she said they were going to work on getting me into the hospital they work with. I never heard from them. I advocated for myself in the emergency room (the second time in there) and ended up having a D&E. I was told that they would have a bereavement doula reach out. I was told that they would send me an email that has an explanation of fertility appointments that I can take advantage of. Nothing, I got nothing. I had an appointment set for 18 weeks-ish. No one called me to tell me it was cancelled so I assumed we kept it to talk about next steps. I arrived and No one was there. They told me they took me off of the schedule because they didn't know if I would still be in the hospital or not. Okay. That's fine. Again, I really try to give the benefit of the doubt. At this point, I have paid my deposit AND they took a payment while I was recovering from my surgery. So they have a little over $2k from me. Time went on, I had a few chemical pregnancies. I called to ask if I could get a referral for an ultrasound to make sure everything was okay. It took a lot of calling back and forth, including me mitigating with MFM, who ultimately wouldn't take me because I wasn't pregnant. They sent me to a third party, who was really sweet, and she said results will be in Monday (4/11). Monday came and went, I never heard from Lunaria. I called the next week, thinking maybe they were just busy; and was told they would email me the results. I never got the results. I called again a week later, was told they should be in my email and that they will send them again. Once again, I did not get them. I called one last time, at the end of May, over a month from when I had the ultrasound. They finally read me the results over the phone and sent them to me via email. They told me I had an 8 cm cyst. That I may have to go in and have it removed. That a doctor may make me have a hysterectomy. She said she would get back with me two days later. She never did. So I called the OB office that did my surgery and managed to get an appointment with them. They read the results I had emailed to me and told me that what I was told was a cyst was my uterus. That I do not have a cyst. I called Lunaria (6/17) after that phone call and told them that this was unfortunately the last straw for me. That I try to give grace, but this was too much. I wanted a detailed invoice, and I wanted a refund. I was told that the head midwife was in Dubai and wouldn't be back until the following week. I called (6/22) and was told she was back but was jetlagged. Okay. Understandable. I called the next day (6/23) and was told that she was working on it right now and will get it to me. I didn't receive anything so I called the next day (6/24) and was told they are working on it but I need to give them a day or two. It was Friday, so I called today, Monday. This time, I was told their birthing center roof fell in so they were having to work from home. But that she was working on it. I told her I wanted a call from the head midwife. I have not heard anything yet. At this point, I am not sure what is taking so long. I had one actual appointment with them. I had a couple back and forth phone calls that amounted to nothing. I will not be using them again, and, as nice as the people are, I unfortunately do not recommend them. I'm hoping to get an invoice soon, but if not, I will be asking for them to refund everything.

However, I asked for help and feel as though I was failed. I reached out to Blooming Tree after becoming desperate regarding postpartum doula services. I spoke with Calli via email. She indicated that she would call me later that evening regarding scheduling, due to having availability the following week. I sat around that evening waiting for that call, and it never happened. I did not receive an email, text, call or anything regarding rescheduling. My husband reached out the following day, and we did not receive a response that day either. So, we didn't bother following back up and chose an agency that displayed excellent communication and reliability.

Our hospice nurse was named Samantha (Red) and I'm so glad that she was there for us. She came to…read moresee us 4 days before my dad passed. She sat with him, talked with him and got to know him in the short time she was there. Samantha has the best bedside manner and answered all of our questions. She made my dad feel seen and safe. The day my dad passed she got to our home about an hour before he passed and was there talking with him and us. After he passed she stayed to clean him up and talked with us (and him) reassuring us all the way through. I appreciate her and all the things that she has done for our family. Another nurse I'd like to give recognition to is Rosie P. She was also there the day my dad passed (about 5 hours before) Rosie checked my dad fully, talked with him and gave great advice and instruction for my dad. These are 2 of the best nurses that I've encountered. Again, I appreciate them to the fullest. Thank yall for everything!

New Centuty Hospice nurses and staff were exceptional from day one. The care and counseling they provided to my brother was outstanding in every way. Not only did they care for my brother's needs but counseled and ministered to us as well. It still amazes me that there are such good people on this earth who would undertake such a daunting calling. I made a request for an appointment online, received a call back promptly. When I called for an appointment I was told no appointments available. Okay no worries. Then ten days later I get another call asking to call for an appointment. Called and told that I would have to be placed on a waiting list. The previous clerk told me incorrectly. Waiting list specifics, no end in sight. No idea if it could take years to see a therapist . Her attitude was so sad too bad for you. No wonder our mental health system is in a sad state.

I was frustrated during the phone call for several reasons, one being the callback was 2 days late, oh well. Second, unrelated to the doctors office or staff entirely (which I apologized for in my later call). Anyway Alicia said "Ok, we will let Dr know" and disconnected the call. Fast forward to now, months later, I decided to reschedule an appointment as I was ready to contunue my treatment or get further advice, successfully scheduled one via phone, and then days later received a patient dismissal letter cancelling future services. I called back to speak to someone as to why I received this letter. I completely understand a doctor backing his staff, and not tolerating rude/uncooperative patients, but because I refused to make an appointment then and there? and because i sounded "frustrated' I get dismissed/cancelled (our relationship is now concluded), God forbid you are having a bad day and it shows during a call or appointment with this place. During this call when I was just trying to figure out why? Alicia was the one whom I spoke to again, and they just reinstated me "refusing" to make an appt at that time, which I told her, I was not refusing, I just didnt want to scheudle anything at that moment, I was gonna call back and do it when I was ready lol. Word of advice if you do go here, careful how you speak, because if you have a tone of voice those like Alicia does not like, you will be told to seek care elsewhere as well.

I'm very disappointed in the outcome of what first appeared to be some resolve for my spinal issues…read morewith "Specific Clinic of Chiropractic in Temple, Texas. The doctors were very personable, and took their time to diagnose my problems. However, when the proposed treatment plan was presented, I was told I was expected to pay upfront for the entire treatment plan. In my case, $4,500! This charge was despite my insurance (double coverage) being able and willing to pay 80%, with me being responsible to pay 20%. I was fine with paying my portion, but apparently this was an unacceptable plan for these doctors. Dr. Hernandez mentioned that she did not think my insurance would cover the proposed treatments. In order to reassure their payment, I researched all medical codes involved (provided by Dr. Hernandez) in my treatment plan with my insurance company, and had a representative from my insurance company call to verify my coverage. It should be noted, the insurance company's first attempt to contact them was apparently missed. In regards to the second attempt, the insurance representative reassured me that a message was left. The insurance company also informed them on how the doctors should issue the billing in order to ensure their payment. I performed this added step in order assist them, as they do not have a designated Biller to handle their billing and coding for procedures. Despite multiple (5+) calls from myself and the insurance company, both leaving messages and speaking to their front desk personnel to coordinate the scheduling of my treatment plan. I was told by the front desk personnel my messages would be delivered to the doctor, and they would contact me. They never returned any calls or otherwise communicated with me. I am uncertain for their disassociation with me, but it appears that anything less than 100% upfront payment is considered unacceptable.
