I've had only good experiences with them. I got my first temp job maaaany years ago through them after college and used them through the years when i was in between jobs. Even when I eventually quit my first assignment as a receptionist at a brokerage firm (4am start woohoo!) who had an HR manager the equivalent of the a black hole, a week or two after that, Office Team called me up for a position upstairs at the same company as a general assistant in their specialized brokerage group. The people were great and even better, the pay was more and I did not have to deal with the HR person. Years later I used O.T. again to get a paper trail as I was eventually moving to NYC. Once in NYC, I temped again and eventually ended up with their Robert Half International Group at Protiviti which was my best experience at an office workplace, temp or permanent, evah. Thumbs up all the way. read more

I have worked the elections as an FST worker twice this year. There is usually nothing to do but check the ePollbooks because no one really ever votes early so you just sit there for 10 hours really. This election, the voting center lead decides she wants to play stupid and act like she didn't know where I was on the site so she told them I left the site. For a few hours at that. I NEVER left. There are other people there that can attest to that, along with cameras, and the stupid device they had me checking in on every 30 min. Not to mention they call and bug you relentlessly about filling out the stupid survey, which I was doing, as well as clocking in and out for your breaks. But somehow, they still took this dumb cunts word and put me off the assignment. Really they did. With no warning, no taking my side, nothing. Then told me I had the burden of proof. I am not going to let you or her call me a liar and you can shove this job up your you know what. You prove it! And I hope with all my heart there is a lawsuit for me here. As a matter of fact, remove my name from your employ all together. read more

As a whole, Office Team has a good amount of employment coverage in the city and many options for anyone searching. I worked with Jessica M. who approached me on my first visit and got the ball rolling faster than anyone else in the office. 3-4 weeks after setting foot in the door, I found myself in a Temp-to-Perm role that quickly converted over to full time (~4 months). I had a few other offers to start working sooner in different fields, but Jessica pointed out some good facts and guidelines to steer me in the right direction. Looking back to 8 months, I'm now hired and things are going in a good direction. I'm all for Jessica -- she's on her game and communicates a lot more than other's I've met with in the past. read more

Allow me to join the masses in commending Emily Turner, and the rest of OfficeTeam SF, in their extreme commitment to customer service. Emily's rare ability to be both simultaneously professional and and personable is admirable. Emily and Co. somehow put me at ease with unemployment, and were constantly in contact with me, bouncing off ideas for open positions or companies they thought I'd like. Needless to say, I was working within a week. Also, big shoutout to Devin in the financial team for really going above and beyond with my assignment. Not only was he available via email after hours, but also on the weekends. Moreover, he even took time to walk me over on my first day on assignment and introduce to me to my team. I highly recommend contacting OfficeTeam SF if you or a friend are looking for work. They will get you off your couch and working in no time. read more

Working through Office Team has been a very positive and exciting experience. Jessica Torres, Julia Spector and Richard Noreen have been nothing less than professional. I was very impressed with their ability to place people in assignments in a quick and timely manner. They kept me busy with many new and interesting assignments during my stay in San Francisco. I was not disappointed. read more

Working with employment agencies is a lesson in patience and communication. After reading some of the poor to mediocre reviews here on Yelp, it is evident that some do not understand the give-and-take required to have a successful experience with The Creative Group. Over the past few months, I have had the opportunity and pleasure to work with Parmita Choudhury as my primary recruiter. When we first met for lunch, Parmita and I discussed my qualifications and career path as a graphic designer here in San Francisco. Throughout our initial conversation, Parmita was able to dissect my skill set and provide me with valuable information about the current job market and where she believed I would fit best. What impressed me about Parmita was her ability to effectively communicate how important it was for us to work as a team. Her honest guidance and analysis of my skill set, as well as the areas she wanted to see some improvement (such as reformatting my portfolio), helped me not only understand what it takes to get noticed by hiring managers, but also what working with employment agencies is all about. No, not every opportunity presented is going to be your dream job and no, not every application is going to get noticed by a hiring manager. However, if you are willing to openly communicate with your recruiter and are willing to acknowledge their advice, your recruiter will do their best to place you in a position where you will succeed. Although there were peaks and valleys throughout the relationship I have had with The Creative Group here in San Francisco, I can confidently say they have done what they set out to do. Parmita, with her knowledge of the job market, her adherence to open and honest communication and her willingness to work with me over the course of several months, was able to place me in a position I will succeed at. I cannot thank Parmita and the staff at The Creative Group enough and I highly recommend their services to anyone who is willing to put in the time to work with them. read more

Reasons to stay away from Robert Half: A potential employer contacted me on LinkedIn to tell me they were just spamming my resume. I moved to San Francisco right after college and was eager to start my career and job search right away, but I didn't know quite where to start. I found Robert Half through a job posting I found online and they helped me keep busy while I continued to look for more permanent work. Jessica Torres was the first to assign me to a position, she was very personable and helpful and had fun little jobs for me to do to keep me busy. Jessica Johnson then contacted me about a position at an advertising agency and wow was it a great fit! I immediately felt at home in this temp job and got asked to extend my assignment and was eventually made full time. Jessica Johnson helped me through the whole process, handling my negotiation with salary, making sure I was getting what I was suppose to be getting, and just making sure I was comfortable with how things were going the whole time. I got my first big girl job out of college thanks to Jessica, truly a gem at Robert Half. read more

The staff at Office Team is great. I worked through both this office and the Oakland office and really appreciated their professionalism and efficiency. I kept trying to get short term assignments through the San Francisco office when I started out with them but they wanted to get me on a longer term assignment given my resume and experience. At the time I was annoyed since I really just needed work, but after they landed me in a 5 month assignment filling in for an Executive Assistant at a nonprofit I was glad they had the vision to make me wait for something long-term. That nonprofit kept requesting me back. I worked with this nonprofit through Office Team off and on for about a year and a half before accepting a direct employment offer. The nonprofit had asked me multiple times to apply directly but I kept declining as I was still exploring my options. To highlight Office Team's efficiency, my last assignment at my now job ended on a Thursday, and the following morning at 8:30 am I received a phone call for another long term Executive Assistant assignment at another nonprofit starting on Monday. I was really impressed with how fast and efficient they were acting to keep me working. At this point I had already decided to take the offer at the other nonprofit so I declined the new assignment. Rich and team were happy to hear that I had moved on to permanent work and Rich checked in on me about a month later. I highly recommend Office Team to everyone that asked me about staffing agencies in the Bay Area. The time I worked through Office Team was during a 1.75 year period of my life where I was doing a mix of promotional modeling and professional work through staffing agencies. All but one professional assignment came through Office Team (primarily SF and then also Oakland in 2014) even though I was signed up with 2-3 other agencies. Thank you for everything Office Team! read more

I have had an awesome experience with OfficeTeam. I am currently a college student in Alabama and only reside in the Bay Area for Summer and Christmas breaks. EVERY Break, Office Team has found me a long term position for the duration of my availability. Ally Dutra is a great staffing manager, well all of the recruiters are awesome but I have a longer professional relationship with Ally. I have been introduced to many industries and gained so much experience and network opportunities. OfficeTeam just may be my foot in the door to my career for the future upon graduation! I recommend everyone give OfficeTeam a chance.. read more

So I was referred to Robert Half by a friend since I was transitioning from one location to another, and I am SO pleased with the service and help I got. Tyler Korn helped me get a job through Robert Half in SF and he was awesome. Tyler and Jessica Mason (who also helped in my quest) were incredibly efficient, friendly and personable. I got a job quickly with their help and would truly recommend Tyler and Jessica from Robert Half to anyone who might need an extra hand. They were awesome!!! read more

I have now worked with Teri H from Robert Half Chicago on each side of placements and have been very pleased in both circumstances. This is in regards to the recruiting office in San Mateo location. Today, 09/14/2018, 11:37Am. Whoever was the receptionist during that hour, was very rude. I called the RH officer to inform a missed call from their, office. While I was explaining my situation, she suddenly cut me off and told me she couldn't help me. Its a shame that this office helps job placement but their receptionist seems unhappy with her job. They definitely should hire a better one! read more

I have found my perfect position due to the talented, tenacious and amazing Jessica Mason and the Robert Half Team From day one, I felt totally at home and very welcomed by all members of Robert Half, and to top it off, I had the fabulous fortune of meeting Jessica. Even, though I am not technically a member of the the financial industry, which she places usually, she took me under her wing and absolutely did everything in her power to find me the perfect position! She personalized my career search, helped to revamp my resume and empowered me on every level. Her personal touches, her care and her concern are unmatched. I have passed her information on to numerous people in my circle and she has also assisted in sharing opportunities and insight so they too can find a community and career culture they can thrive in, such as me. Everyone on the Robert Half team has been incredibly supportive, constantly in communication and are always there to field my questions and help to guide me when needed. Jessica is a rock star and the team is stellar on every level. Jessica's passion and commitment is unmatched and she is a shining example of a career consultant and a fabulous person all around. I am so grateful that I have had the fortune of working with such amazing people! So, if you are looking for a new career and know that you want to shine, contact Jessica Mason and Robert Half, they will surely make your world brighter, as they have for me! Robert Half OfficeTeam has been fabulous! They have a ton of wonderful clients. I highly recommend OfficeTeam to anyone that feels as if they are uncertain of what they want yet. OfficeTeam really opens doors in terms of giving people an opportunity to try out the different fields they have to offer and are extremely accommodating to your personal interests and wants. They always have assignments available depending that suit your needs. The recruiters are extremely helpful and accessible and will respond almost 100% of the time. The team has really helped me in getting a foot in the door to the professional industry and I can't thank them enough for that! read more

This is the second time that I have used Office Team in my current position of 6 months. The first time Erin pulled out all the stops to accommodate my seemingly impossible request. The second time...as it sometimes happens...she worked different miracles, but miracles none the less. Our temporary replacement was very flexible and able to extend his contract as we worked thru our own laborious recruitment process. He was able to jump in immediately which resulted in very little down time in the department. I would certainly feel confident in using Erin as an HR partner for our temp staffing needs. Responsive, helpful, and professional! read more

After several years in the customer service and hospitality industry, I was ready for something different. I applied to hundreds of jobs through monster/indeed/etc job sites and getting little to no results (plus working two jobs I hated at the same time), it was pretty draining. An acquaintance had gotten a full time job through a different agency, so I did my research and found Robert Half to be one of the better ones in the Bay Area. But I was still hesitant about going this route because it would mean stepping outside my comfort zone and venturing into the "real" professional world. I created a RH/Office Team profile, uploaded my resume, and a little blurb about myself and called it a night. The next day, and over the course of the week, I received probably a dozen phone calls from Robert Half. My brother incidentally also signed up with RH about a month beforehand (I made him the guinea pig and try it out first) and started a job at an awesome office in the Financial District within a month. He also had a couple day/week long assignments before that. And after three months he was hired permanently with the office. Starting at the end of March/early April, my experience was a little more drawn out. But I would say that was due to my lack of experience in the financial/admin/business industries rather than RH's organization (which seems to be pretty good). I knew how to be cheery and cater to people's needs, but didn't have the slightest idea about how banks work. But RH stuck it out with me. Specifically, Tyler Korn (who also helped my brother) and Nicole Sher were the two I was in most contact with. I was nervous meeting Tyler but his cool and easy going demeanor really made a great impression on me and I knew his sincerity meant I would be getting something soon. I had a couple interviews with big name companies in the financial district, but alas my lack of experience would make them choose a more qualified candidate. Tyler assured that it rarely took more than a month or two to find a position so I stuck it out. About a week later, near mid May, I received a call at 6pm (yes they work hard and late!) from Nicole saying she had found a great position. I interviewed the next morning (this seems to be pretty common, but also keeps you on your toes which I actually appreciate). The client said they had about 10-15 candidates for 2-3 positions so chances weren't terrible but I was expecting to get offered since this company is probably one of the biggest in the financial world. Two days later, Nicole rang and the first thing she said was "I have good news!!" I started the following Monday and this week will be my the end of my second month at the company. I also spoke with Tyler earlier this week and he told me that I have been getting excellent feedback from my supers/managers. Which is really nice to hear, as simple as that idea is. In conclusion, my experience with Robert Half/OfficeTeam, specifically the people mentioned above, has been extremely wonderful and warm. Tyler is always pleasant to talk to and I can confidently say that for his coworkers I have met or interacted with (Nicole, Jessica Mason, Mike Schimanek, to name a few off the top of my head) as well. Highly recommended if you're looking to switch careers or newly moved to the Bay Area. :) read more

I would give them zero stars if I could. I graduated with an accounting degree two and a half years ago. Since I didn't have much experience I was told all I can get for work is accounting clerk jobs. It took a long time but around a year and half ago I got an accounting clerk job on my own. I worked there for about six months and during that time I told Robert half about my experiences. Now I'm told that I need at least 2 years of accounting clerk experience before I can apply for a staff accountant position that pays 18 to 20 dollars an hour. After that I would move up to some other accounting position that requires me another give years of experience to get to that pays 25 and hour. 7 years for 25 an hour is so not worth it. Overall I had two interviews of which one person said why did they sent you to interview with us. We want someone with 5 to 10 years experience and is a cpa. The other said we will start you as an accounting clerk at 14 dollars an hour. A waste of time. The recruiters are terrible they don't respond unless you call them and they don't even want to try and send your resume out even if your qualified. Terrible experience i don't recommend working for them. You can make more at Amazon as a warehouse worker. read more

I really appreciate how fast they process paychecks. However, don't even attempt to get a raise (even if the job includes a lot more than the job description). They're easy to access, find jobs pretty fast (I think they're the biggest in their field) and find things conveniently fast. However, they have a fast turnover (hence the speedy paycheck processing) and won't really hear you out when ask for a raise. They're great at pretending the employer won't give you a raise, like they're not taking a big old cut out of what the employer is paying. As far as staffing firms go though, they're definitely the best I've worked with. read more

Victoria Niles of Robert Half Financial Services is excellent! Her professionalism and great positive vibe makes the employment placement process less stressful than it needs to be. After a very detailed interview, Victoria was able to offer me a number of job interviews/options and finally a placement with a global investment firm. Though I eventually left the firm to move into a different direction, Victoria was very supportive of my decision and has kept in touch. I feel this personal touch goes a long way and reflects positively to the Robert Half company. read more

I started with Office Team about 3 months ago. All of them, especially Aaron, were very accommodating to my needs and interests. The company and its staff genuinely seemed interested in placing the right people with the right employers. All of my assignments were extremely interesting and rewarding. I have met a lot of great people at great places in the past three months as a temporary staff member. Fortunately, Office Team was able to match me with my current employer, whom I am now permanent with. I'm really enjoying my current job (writing this review on my lunch break of course) and I find that there are many opportunities for growth within the company I ended up signing with. I haven't had a single day where I haven't looked forward to work and I have Office Team to thank for that. Act like a professional and you will get matched with some amazing companies and opportunities! read more

Their ratings speak themselves. I am a seasoned Paralegal with excellent references. They have never placed me a in Paralegal position. A couple of recruiters have reached out to me regarding positions and when I respond, the job isn't really available, or I go through the initial process and never hear from them again. i believe they age discriminate even though most employers want an experienced Paralegal that can work independently and need very little training. I have never benefited from their services...if that's what you want to call it. A waste of time. Do yourself a favor, look for an agency that takes an interest in finding you employment. read more

RH is the best agency I've worked with in SF, unlike many who take your information and never get back to you. Ellary was the recruiter I originally met with and her team started calling me within a few days of meeting her. The opportunities were relevant to what I was looking for and the various recruiters I spoke with offered a lot of support. I did not find my new job through RH, but I would contact them again when I'm ready to look. Only thing is that the companies they recruit for can be really slow in their hiring process which can make looking yourself a little faster at times. read more

I just graduated recently, and it must have been fate! After a month of job hunting, Brandon found me on Linkedin. I followed up with him and we scheduled a meeting at his office later that week. I met with Brandon and his colleague, Lisa, and I was truly impressed. After looking at my website and resume, they made a list of companies they thought I would be a good fit for. They told me it may take a few days or a few weeks, but they would contact me when they found a position I was a good fit for. Upon leaving their office, I was both excited and hopeful. It did take a few weeks, but Brandon was great at keeping an open line of communication. He checked in with me every week with a brief phone call to let me know the status of his job hunt. Then one fateful day two weeks ago, Brandon called to let me know of a position he thought I would be perfect for. When he told me the details of the job, I couldn't believe it. It was at a company I had admired for ages, and I met all of the qualifications for the position. He submitted my name for consideration, and then I waited to hear back from him. The following week, he called with wonderful news: I had gotten the job! I started work last week and I couldn't be happier. The job market is tough out there, but The Creative Group has far surpassed my expectations. This particular position is a temporary one (lasting about a month), but I know I can count on Brandon and Lisa to assist me in my job search in the near future. read more

I was a bit hesitant at first about working with a temp agency, but I went out on a limb when the going was getting tough in finding a job. I initially worked with Jessica Mason. A really pleasant woman who was always very enthusiastic when corresponding with me. She was great. She then referred me to Erin Carter, who was (and is) such a rock star. She got me placed super fast at a company that I felt like I fit right in with. She was my match maker and she did her job well. When things started getting hard in my personal life, Erin came through for me. She didn't try to pressure me to stay with Office Team. She really understood my circumstances and tried to work with me. She was able to finagle what she could so that I could continue temping at my placement. (Did I mention that she was a rock star?! Woohoo!) She really came through for me and am so grateful that she was my gal. She was always very forthcoming with me and had such wonderful energy that made me really feel like home. When I finally became permanent, she brought me something to feed my sweet tooth and something to decorate my (now permanent) seat at work. (Rock star!!!) I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them over and over and over again in the future. Thanks guys~ I, and my daughter appreciate the work you do and thank you very much :) read more

I cannot say enough terrific things about The Creative Group. I did something rather unorthodox--I moved to San Francisco in March 2014 without the security of a job. It was a major life change, albeit a calculated one, but a little nerve-wracking nonetheless. Having had a great experience with The Creative Group in Phoenix, AZ, approaching TCG San Francisco was one of my first priorities. I worked with Brandon Davis and Kevin Goldson, two very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly professionals who immediately put my mind at ease. I knew after speaking with them that I would have two great allies in navigating the Bay Area job market. Both Brandon and Kevin were very communicative; not a week went by that I didn't hear from them. Within a few weeks they had placed me in not just a job, but my dream job. I am now the senior marketing writer and editor for a software company and love every minute of it, and I cannot thank Brandon, Kevin, and the whole TCG team enough for this opportunity. Job seekers, I highly recommend the team at TCG San Francisco! This is my first to review on yelp or of any type online but Robert half legal company is that bad that I had to speak out so that hopefully other people won't have to go through the same really bad treatment I was subject to. For 29 years I have been a litigation/trial attorney in California in perfect standing with the State Bar. I also have the businesses and corporations on the side. In all my years in law of hiring attorneys, paralegals and law clerks and being hired by companies in my beginning for the same positions, I've never experienced a company with this poor of customer service and substance. I spent numerous hours with these guys forwarding my information and requirements for a paralegal and then interviewed a paralegal and waited for her to show up. She never did. And when I called her she said she was straight out told that Robert Half had already called me earlier to tell me that they said I was "too much of a liability" and that everything had been explained to me. Obviously, nothing much further from the truth! And this happened to me using my personal referrals from my years as a trial attorney to get to the very top people so if things like this would never occur! When I called Robert half senior manager, I was told that "they have a lot of red tape", apparently trying to excuse all of my wasted time and near/slander of calling me "too much of a liability" without any writings to me, without any telephone calls or any real explanation. Save yourself the trouble and go to an experienced legal placement company that actually is professional in their dealings with people and read the other reviews of people hired by them and not just from someone like me who was trying to hire someone from them. It is the most embarrassing and inglorious treatment in the legal field I have ever received as an attorney for many years in San Francisco and the Bay Area. Lord only knows how they treat people have less lofty professional achievements. read more

I've had the pleasure of working with just about every person in the SF office and have been pretty happy with Accountemps since they've kept me on steady contracts for 6+ months. The suggestions to update my resume were super helpful and they've done a good job of finding me work that's within a reasonable rate range (it could always be higher, but they do try). If I have a knock, it's that there's always a bit of confusion when an assignment is ending. I chalk it up to the nature of the arrangement: it's tough when you work daily in an office, so the supervisor sometimes talks to you first or your rep calls with an update when the supervisor is standing a few feet away. If that's my biggest "con" with an employer, they're doing something right. The nature of temp work means you have to be flexible, understanding, and trust in the system ~ and this team gives you the tools to do just that. read more

I just had the worst RHL experience of my over 27 years as Legal Secretary. I'd been semi-retired for 9 years (which shouldn't matter) and had registered with RHL for temp jobs in 2012, but rarely ever heard back from them and certainly never worked for them. Suddenly, last Friday, I responded to an e-mail from AccounTemps about accounting positions. I wrote back and said I don't have that experience, please remove me from your list. Then, suddenly, a few hours later I got a call from Ben at OfficeTemps telling me about a possible job at OneLegal in Petaluma which I was interested in. He asked me to fill out all that voluminous paperwork via e-mail, which I did. Never heard back from Ben at OfficeTemps. Then I suddenly got a call from Jasmine Penny from RHL San Francisco saying she'd like to talk to me about upcoming positions in San Francisco. "Wow", I thought--I'm marketable again!" So I talked to Jasmine on the phone, and all seemed good and she was going to keep me in mind for jobs. Then I get this e-mail Friday at 5:18pm asking me to confirm an interview for Monday (yesterday) at 9:30am at a firm in SF. I was wondering about it, because the job was for Case Assistant, and I'm a Legal Secretary, but I thought I should just do it. So I did. I made all the necessary sacrifices and did the research to get to the interview yesterday at 9:30am, and it turned out the interview was for another candidate, and Jasmine had switched me with another person, sending me the confirmation in error (you would think she would have figured that out when she received my confirmation?!!). The interviewing firm didn't know what to do with me or what had happened, so they quarantined me in a small, windowless, grey conference room with a telephone for 20 minutes until they figured it out. In the meantime, I used the phone in the room to call Jasmine, but just when I got her on the phone, the office manager walked in and I handed the phone to her to talk to Jasmine. Whaaaat???!!!! I told her, you can make it all go away by getting me a job, gurrrlll! I also sent an e-mail to her supervisor there, Karrina Carrera (where do they come up with these names sounding like they're rapper thugs?) but have heard nothing back (her voice-mail box was also full). I am done with RHL. Ageism is rampant there, too. And I have superior skills as a Legal/Litigation Secretary for over 27 years. They totally diss me over and over and over again. But this was the last time. read more
