I had a pretty bad experience with this location. I met with a recruiter recently, Shirley, who followed up immediately and gave me a specific time period to respond so we could supposedly get the ball rolling. I responded via email, no response. Then I called and left a voicemail, no response. I just gave up, because I read people very well. Therefore, I know when someone isn't interested in helping or working with me. I have no issue if a recruiter changes his/her mind about working with me, or feels that they would have a hard time finding me work. However, a simple courtesy of letting me know, even via email, would suffice and be professional. However, Shirley didn't even have the respect or courtesy to do that, especially after following up with me first! What really annoyed me was that although she didn't have the professionalism or respect to do this, she did have the gull to pass MY PERSONAL INFORMATION to a sales representative from TCG.
This sales rep or employee working in their business development department called me and told me that this specific recruiter (I'm speaking of) gave her a lead in reference to me and a company that I've previously interviewed with. The sales person was straight-forward with me and told me she wanted to get the name(s) of the person(s) I interviewed with there, and the exact location/address of the company; because TCG has never worked with them before and she wanted to call and market it's services in case they had any openings they needed filled. WOW!!!! I was extremely disgusted. I was going to even point out that that specific recruiter doesn't even have the decency to respond to me, but she has the nerve to tell you to contact me for sales information! I just told her I would call her back, and haven't. Why would I help people who treat me in that manner. You want me to provide you with help in growing your business, although you refuse to do anything for me professionally or at least treat me with decency. INTERESTING.
In a nutshell, I would never recommend TCG or Shirley to anyone I know personally or don't even know. They have been extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate, and the way this location handles business is tacky. Additionally, if you interview with them or any recruitment company, be careful, especially if they want to know everything and anything about who you have previously worked for or interviewed with. If they do it's most likely because they want to sell their services to them. Once they get that information, don't be surprised if they don't contact or even bother responding to you anymore. I've read about this in many reviews about recruiters and recruitment companies in general, and my experience proves that this is true. I wouldn't even give them one star, but I have no choice. read more
