I called her office on the following Monday morning and was advised she was on another call; I left my number and requested she call me back. No return call. The following Tuesday, late afternoon, I called her office again and was advised she was on another call, I left my number once more. No return call. I have found temp work through temp agencies in several states we lived in throughout my career and NEVER had issues with being placed; took time off to be a SAHM for our only but found temp work in NE (2018) before moving back to TX 2019. I sought out Cornerstone because their North FW office is located literally less than 2 miles from our home. At first friendly but found it is not for those who are older or with a gap in work experience. Scored well on all testing (or so I was told) yet did not recommend me to clients for Admin or Office Manager (I have a BBA and Masters). Emilee was my contact - not friendly. Her excuses: 1) jobs I was interested in were in North Fort Worth but not covered by their office - yet that is where this office is located 2) Emilee said "I can't make them tell me why they don't choose you," and 3) you said you only wanted $15/hr after I told her I'd go as low as $12-13. Although I told her I would make her look good to their clients, that apparently wasn't motivation enough to actively find me any type of job that paid $13-15. She was either intimidated, not interested in promoting an older client, or didn't need to meet a quota of placing job seekers. Now I'm an Office Mgr for a local firm and DID NOT find it through Cornerstone. read more

I went to Corner Stone due to my transfer from California to Texas not going the way I expected it. It was the first time I had ever stepped into a staffing agency. I was really nervous & didn't know what to expect. But I needed a job fast. Everyone there was so friendly & helpful but the one that truly stood out was KeSha. She always had a big smile on her face with everyone she spoke to. Her willingness to help was amazing. She made me feel very at ease with the whole situation & helped me out a lot. I went to Cornerstone after being laid off for about 4 months searching for a direct hire position. I applied online and in less than 24 hours was requested to come in and go through their process. I took their placement tests and met with Pam Richardson, and she was incredibly nice and pleasant to work with. I gave her my work requirements and my goals, and within minutes she matched me with a company and emailed them my resume. Within a couple of days I had an interview and it was the best interview I've ever had. Pam spoke on my behalf and was extremely efficient, and communicative with me in the down time between interviews. I highly recommend Cornerstone for whatever your needs are in looking for a job.
