I believe that this company doesn't actually look at your resume. I think they are only picking certain individual. My experience have match every job I had applied for with this company . I have also spoke with the ladies and they are very dry after I have started talking, and asking if i can speak with a recruiter. I see on their website. They have good opportunities, but unlike other agencies, they really don't take the time out to get to know people and really qualify them for a role. I tried them once and no luck and got hired immediately with another agency. Then I went back to cornerstone a couple of years later and still had the same poor experience. And then all communication was lost no responses to my emails and when they did respond, it was very rude. read more

This place sucks. They don't listen to you BEFORE you are even an employee, so I can't imagine what it's like if you get hired on. First impressions are supposed to be your best right? I told them TWICE I could do an interview any day, but af​ter 11, which assuming they get an hour lunch, gives them a 5 freaking hour a day window to choose from. Cornerstone is the worst staffing agency I have ever worked with. They are very unprofessional and treat you like a number. They give you zero explanation as to why your placement let you go other then your not a good fit when I did my job and kept to myself and showed up everyday on time. It's very upsetting that you can work your hardest but it sometimes doesn't mean anything to certain companies because they treat you as though your just a number and can be replaced. ***This review is about the company as a whole, not this specific location.*** I'm beginning to think that placement agencies, in general, are just antique in their approach and the way they handle people. I went in to have an interview and I was told prior to and during that I'd be a good fit for the position for which I was interviewing. A couple of days later, I was told that the client decided to go in a different direction...I understand that happens and that's fine, but when I replied and asked if there was any feedback that I can use to help myself be better next time and if there were any other positions for which I'd be qualified, I got no response. Some time later, I called to follow-up and I was advised that the person I originally interviewed/met with is no longer with the company, but someone else was going to assist me with looking for something else. I was asked if I'd be willing to provide my references up-front. Ordinarily, I prefer to not release that information until I am further along in the hiring process, but I went against my better judgment and did so. Again...no response. So now, you have my references and their contact information but you won't reply to emails or call me back. I was then told that the salary I'd like to make would be a barrier to finding me employment because apparently, I want more than the jobs they normally have coming into their system. Fast-forward to later...I see a position posted on LinkedIn with them that I think I'd be a great fit for. I reach out to the person who is listed as the contact for this role and when I got a response, I was told that even though I was emailing the person who was listed as the contact, I need to go back to the person I initially met with when I first registered with them. I emailed her back and tell her that he's no longer with the company...which I'm pretty sure she should be aware of, but she tells me that she didn't know and that I need to contact the office that I interviewed with in the beginning. Sound like the run-around to you? If you're the contact person for the position, why do I need to contact some other people at a different office? If the position doesn't exist and you're just looking to get your numbers up, it would have been better if she'd said that, in my opinion. It seems like a bit of a disorganized mess and they're playing the numbers game, but not serious about placing quality people in quality positions. It's really unfortunately because I'd heard good things about them, which is how I ended up there in the first place. read more

Cornerstone staffing is the absolute worst. I thank God I left Texas and I now live and work as a permanent employee with good pay and excellent benefits at a good company. But even now I think about how I was treated as a candidate with Cornerstone staffing and I made up my mind to never work through temp agencies again. In my opinion Cornerstone staffing operates with no integrity and and in a borderline criminal manner. Don't trust the Google reviews either. I believe they are manipulated. Throughout the years Cornerstone has had hundreds of negative reviews. Where did they all go? It's as if they disappeared. The woman at the front desk was very friendly. That's the only positive thing I can say of this experience. The placement/interview ladies were Extremely unprofessional and down right rude! I waited an hour to speak with someone who never shook my hand or look me in my eyes (Angel). After speaking very briefly of expected pay, hours and location she cut me off saying they couldn't proceed with me until previous employment was verified. Supposedly they left a messages with my previous jobs (different time zones), only to find out they never did. When I called them, they accused me of not providing them with accurate accurate info. I've never been treated so rudely and have plenty of work experience and references. Sure I need a job but I will not put up with unprofessional behavior from an employer. I'm worth so much more. Should you choose to come here, be warned- you will sit and wait in a crowded, small, low air conditioned room for hours -regardless of the time they tell you to arrive. Bring previous managers cell phone numbers and let them know they'll be calling. If not, you'll be upset you wasted your gas and precious time. This experience was extremely disappointing as I've been to other agencies that have never once questioned my previous experience. read more

The worst staffing agency in history. I swear I have never been treated so poorly. Norma is the lady that I will never forget she treated me with such disrespect, she spoke to me like I was a child and at times even felt like I was getting yelled at by her over the phone. She got me a job that I didn't fit for it was not what I was looking for and when I wanted to put my two week notice in she suggested I should stay and work longer...and so I tried to stick thru it but finally I decided it's not going to workout. Shortly after I put my two week notice in I got fired and for some miracle reason she was spot on because she is never available when I try to call her. But my job got a hold of her asap. Long story short I got fired after I put my two week notice in and Norma wouldn't help me get a job after that. She said their policy is you can't get fired. But I quit tho!! Then I spoke to Nick he seemed professional at first then he had to tell me he agrees with Norma 100%. I'm just confused how they won't help you get a job you are looking for. They just place u in anything and expect u to work like ur a damn dog with no goals, this place is horrible. They don't know how to communicate with you. Don't go here. Cornerstone staffing is a very professional staffing agency . All of the employees there are nice and are always ready to help anybody who walks through the door . I was attended by agent Norma Alvarez ,she is a great person with a comforting personality. Her effort was genuine when it came to my job placement and Im sure the rest of the agents are that way as well . She helped place me in the best position that I could regarding my experience.
