Unprofessional customer service. I called and the representative I spoke with was rude. She keeps directing me online whereas other branches have a dedicated representative. I called a different branch and the same person picks up. If you are going to have an attitude then don't come to work. I'm doing my discipline to contact different branches. I don't need extra information and attitude. Just state whether your branch has a representative if not end of call. It's poor customer service that drives good companies to the ground. I was leery about working for a temp service, because I had heard so many bad things about them. My daughter encouraged me to call RH and apply, because she had used them to get her permanent position she is working at now. I called RH around March 2019, and was able to complete everything online, which made it very convenient for me. I was called two days later with a six month assignment, but it didn't start for six weeks. My rep Brittney was very sweet and assured me she would find me work until my assignment started, and she kept her promise. I was sent on a two week assignment two days later. RH was very concerned that I had no problems on my assignment. A rep came to the office to check on me and brought the office some treats. I was also sent on other assignments until my six month assignment started. Once I started working on my six month assignment, RH never made me feel I was alone. A rep always keeps me updated and informed on any changes. A rep was sent out to check on ALL the RH temps and made sure we did not need anything. RH brought breakfast and lunch several times since I've been here, and made sure it was enough for ALL the other temps and employees. I can't believe that even the office manager Vanessa G. called to check on me and make sure I didn't need anything. I am so privileged to have the honor to work with such an amazing place. In today's society jobs are not the same and some companies can make employee's feel they are of no value to the company. I've had the same problem with the Cerritos branch of this company as the Long Beach branch, that is, not getting return calls. A lady named "Brittney" called and left a message for me to call her back regarding some positions I had applied for online. I called back less than 2 hours later only to be told by the receptionist that Brittany was unavailable and would I like to leave a voice mail? I agreed and left Brittney a voice message with my callback number. To date, I have not heard back from Brittney or anyone else from this location of Office Team. Came in about a month ago to inquire about setting up an initial interview with this agency, and the receptionist had one of their recruiters, Brittney, meet with me on a walk in basis. She managed to squeeze in quick interview to look over my resume and work experience, and see what type of work I was looking for. She handed me her business card and asked me to email her a digital copy of my resume. I did, but then I received no word from her for a couple of weeks. I was also awaiting some assessments she told me I needed to complete, but those never got emailed to me. I decided to call back and see what happened, and she claimed she never received my email with my resume, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt and re-sent it, but yet again I received no confirmation or follow up. I was hoping that the previous negative reviews didn't hold true to their caliber of work, but it seems like they're still unresponsive towards potential candidates. read more

I first called on the morning of 8/19/2014 to inquire about the recruiting process. Since I am looking for an IT job, the person answering the call, referred me to Erin. I left her my contact information since Erin was in a meeting. I had miss call from Erin mid-afternoon and called back within 30 minutes, but was only able to leave a message. I have been trying to reach Erin every day and every call that I have made (at least 2 per day since 8/19), I have left messages with my name and number, since I am constantly sent to her automated voice mailbox. I applied for a job through one of the job hunting websites and ended up interviewing with this service. I clearly stated that, as a slightly older candidate returning to school in the fall, I was looking for something that would either be temporary, lasting just for the next several months (like maybe filling in for a maternity or paternity leave), or something more permanent but DEFINITELY part-time. I get a call right after I return home that day, saying a nearby company was hiring for an administrative position. They were vague on the details; I was curious (*cough*desperate*cough*), and Googling the company I didn't come upon anything suspicious, so I agreed to go on the interview. I later drove back over to Cerritos only to be greeted by a grumpy-faced gentlemen (with a mohawk of all things...) who clearly wasn't going to hire me anyway, but who rudely stated that it was strictly a full-time position and he would not accomodate any school at all. I got home that day and got another call from this company asking what went wrong and sort of talking as if I'd done something wrong. I stated firmly yet diplomatically that they were the ones who goofed because I clearly stated what I was looking for in a position. He apologized and promised to do better next time...except after a year I've never heard from this company again. I don't have the best luck looking for jobs, so I turn to Officeteam to help me. I remember after losing my job, I signed up with Officeteam and met with Amber on 9/24/2014. She took all of my information and would try her best to find a match. I was worried that it would take a while to find me a position but on 9/30/2014, they called me and said that they wanted me to start the next day. I hear other job seekers waiting months before finding work so, in my eyes, 1 week is really fast. Clint, Brent and Erin would check up on me at least once a week and anytime I left them a message, they would return my call in a timely manner. I received another assignment in JAN 2015, just as my other assignment from another agency was ending so I was thankful I would not be jobless to start off the new year. At first, it was supposed to be a 2 week assignment, then it became 2 months. I was not sure what to expect, but the Officeteam staff were reassuring me that if ever this assignment were to end, they were looking for other opportunities for me. Some people may have had negative experiences with this company, but I am happy to say that mine have been positive. I was pretty excited and was looking forward to our FaceTime interview the following week only to have it cancelled because Brent was sick. No biggie, everyone's been getting sick. It was rescheduled for the following day, cancelled again. I was told Brent would reach out to me. He did but I didn't get a chance to return his call back right away. Once I did, never heard anything back. I called and left three messages last week. OfficeTeam is the worst temp agency I have dealt with. I have contacted more than 1 location and they all equally have the worst service. I emailed my resume and not one person called me back. I have great office experience, over 7 years supporting executives and office support and a college degree and they ignore me. Other staffing agency always call me and want to work with me because of my experience. If they treat me someone with excellent experience like this I would only imagine how they treat those with less or little experience. I would avoid all OfficeTeam offices like the plague. read more

When I first started working with her, the first thing she did was come into my office to meet me face to face. One of the things I've really enjoyed about working with Vanessa, is that she is very hands on with my account.
