My experience with Office Team has been very delightful as well as unusual. My first encounter with Office Team was coming into their office to be processed as an applicant. The staff in their office was not only very professional and helpful, but they were caring and personable...I was treated like a person not just a possible commission. They took the time to chat with to see not only where I have been, but where I would like to go. Shortly thereafter, I had the exceptionally great fortune of being assigned a long term temporary assignment for a great company. I worked for this company as a temp through Office Team for 7 months. During this 7 months, the Office Team staff stopped in to check on me routinely making me feel valuable and important, my payroll check was always processed amazingly fast and it was basically an absolutely fabulous experience and blessing. After 7 months as a temp, I was hired on as a permanent employee and now I am in the position of being an Office Team client. I worked with Danielle Thomas as my recruiter. She had originally called me to get a better sense of where I would fit best as I had applied for a position that required 5 years of experience while I had none. Although I had no experience, I had extensively studied the subject and even have a specialty degree that is highly related to the position while most applicants do not, and I had completed 40% of a highly related certification (in fact a requirement of the position). After better assessing my education, knowledge, drive, and goals during the phone interview, Danielle decided to pitch me to the company. Danielle worked her magic, and the company agreed to schedule an interview with me. After three long interviews lasting 1.5 to 2 hours each and with five different people, including the President and CFO of the company, I was hired by the company through OfficeTeam, and with a salary 12% higher than expected. Two months later I was brought on board as an actual full-time employee of the company with another salary increase, this time 17% greater than the new salary I was expecting along with the typical health benefits, 401k, etc. It had been a goal of mine for many years now to work in my current position, and with no experience, I am doing it five years earlier than expected and I am loving it. When I fill out a application on-line with them I didn't have to wait weeks for them to reply to my application they contacted me right away and that's what I liked about them as well they had a job for me within a week of me applying online have been with them for a year and it hasn't been a time that I didn't work.
