Well, OfficeTeam was able to get me a job very quickly, but here is why they have earned this rating. I was not informed about the true duties of this position. I was on my feet for a large part of the day in a room filing (which I was not informed of upfront), and one week into my assignment I found that I was placed at a horrible company. The pay I received was terrible for the amount of work that was expected of me. And after I completed my assignment, I was not placed again. I am not surprised. I would not call this company again given the horrible experience I had. read more

They misrepresented the length of the assignment and the job duties, so I was stuck for weeks on a lousy, practically minimum-wage job during which I was expected to do heavy lifting (I had a tricky back & no health insurance.) Then when I asked them to negotiate a slightly better wage or find something else for me, they never called me again and tried to screw me out of my unemployment. Plus the rep never got back to me. Great temp agency. It took a while for them to find me anything, about 2 months, which I attribute to my starting to call them more often, namely, whenever I saw a listing on their site I was interested in, but I managed several temp jobs through them that lasted me over a month or so each, the last of which almost ended up hiring me full time. Strongly recommended if you're looking for temp work, you just need to be willing to make the effort to check their site periodically and call if something piques your interest. The Recruiter talked to me briefly, put me in their system, requested my resume and set me up with tests (I was able to take these onsite at their office as I had no reliable computer at home). When I graduated in May, I had a really hard time finding work and was getting more and more stressed every day because I wasn't getting as many call backs as I was hoping. My recruiter was Lily. Loved her. She really went far and beyond to not only represent me to employers but to also check in with me to see how the assignment was and if everything was working out. They are really hands on so expect to receive weekly checkups from them. They are also a staffing agency so there can be some cons in being indirectly hired and not an official employee of the company you have been placed on. I just moved to Lancaster and was informed by office team in Long Beach that the Burbank office team covered Lancaster area but since I've moved here I have Not had a single assignment and I've called repeatedly and still nothing.
