Our structural engineering firm recently engaged Robert Half Associates to assist us in finding a financial controller. To our good fortune Damien Richburg was assigned to our account. The last assignment I had from them was with a company that was abusive. The manager was a total creep and predator lots of inappropriate comments w/ sexual innuendo constantly and there was a right wing nut job that said toxic things about our government and head of state and he this weirdo would go to racist hateful websites and made it a point to do it in front of me. People smoked and chewed tobacco and constantly disparaged women and non white people. It was awful. Also inappropriate comments were made about women, people of different ethnic origin other than white. When I told them how uncomfortable all of this made me, I got no support or understanding from OT and they just said I was a bad "fit" as though the conduct of their disgusting client were ok. I was very disappointed. Also for whatever reason they, office team tried to "profile me" as a low wage earner and a low skills person when in fact I am not. Do not bother to apply or work for them. A horrible horrible company and their clients were creeps and low class. read more

I called Office Team / Robert Half last year looking to see if they had any position available in my field. It did not take them long to find me something and I was there for 6 months. Although it was supposed to be a temp to hire position, the company decided to do a reorg and I was no longer needed. I went onto helping a friend out with her company but in the meantime I kept in touch with Office Team / Robert Half and well they have done it again. Found me a position that I absolutely feel is the right fit for me and that I know would be a good fit for me and I am hoping that down the road, the company that I am reporting to work for, feels the same way. Believe me when I say. Elizabeth and Alexandra are the best of the best and they will look out for you and they have your best interests at heart and they will take care of you. I am currently finishing up a temporary assignment with one of the other RH divisions and on the search for the next. After browsing the numerous listings, I found a posting that Jessica was assigned to, so I sent her an email introducing myself with a resume attached, within 24 hours Jessica called to schedule a meeting time. Friday afternoon, I had the pleasure in meeting with her in person. During our meeting she took the time to investigate what I was looking for, provided positive feedback regarding my skills, education, and a thumbs up on my resume. Very disappointing outfit, I had problems with them in the past, bad assignments, lack of professionalism. They contacted me after not working there for 10 years, thought I would give them another chance. They rarely had work, and the one job I did go on was a physical laborers assignment when I was told it was for a law firm clerk and filing job. Stopped it after two days. Then I was told that I had not completed the 3 day assignment and was fired, even though I informed them well in advance that I had a permanent job offer and was taking it from another company. Found out they were having massive walk offs from their staffing placement people, low morale and the manager was bad with their people. Never again with this company. read more

I'd only ever had one job prior to working with Robert Half and I did not use a recruiting service to obtain the job. Needless to say, I was nervous about the process and even more nervous about not finding the right job for in a reasonable amount of time. My recruiting manager Delena Spencer abated my nervousness. I have tried other temp agencies to no avail. Than I went to Accountemps located in Austin. Well low and behold within 2 weeks of going on an interview with them they found me a temp job that fit my background and mostly my salary. I am now on my second assignment and I do have to say when I call them especially Angela or Roxy they are quick to respond which tells me they care. They also call me to make sure everything is going well. I like that! I must say without hesitation that I would recommend them highly., especially Angela Dildine and Roxy. Very poor, also their divisions of Account temps and the legal section. I had several bad experiences with them in Minneapolis, MN and thought they might be different in Austin. Wrong, they sent me on one assignment at a law firm to do physical labor, it was supposed to be for filing. and even that only lasted 2 days. I called and called for other office work, they never returned my calls and then they tell me that I am no longer eligible for any work as I did not do the grunt lifting job. I am partially disabled and do accounting for a trade. I know better than to ever work for them again. Avoid them. read more
