The wait time for the procedure was longer than the procedure itself (because they had to give you something to calm your nerves as well as double check your eyes!) but even after, the staff was very kind. I remember while I was sitting there, a staff member reassured me that they wouldn't just kick me out until my ride was there (my godbrother was stuck in traffic). Not only did they reassure me, they offered water and even had someone escort me down. The guy didn't have to wait with me but he did until my godbrother had arrived (about 5min wait). Unfortunately, the last few times he could not be seen by Dr. Kelly and was seen by one of the members of his medical staff. My father was 90 at the time and was having issues with his eyes. I had to bring him to the city in November and he was told it was dry eyes by one of Dr. Kelly's team members. I brought him to a another ophthalmologist months later for a second opinion. Right away he was told it was not dry eyes but calcium deposits on his cornea. This is what was missed back in November because he did not see Dr. Kelly, but instead another staff member who is not as qualified.

But I thought it was worth that to see better Now 2 months after my surgery, I'm seeing even better than I was in glasses or contacts! Her response was "in case something happened. It turns out that they submitted the invoice to my insurance, my insurance paid, and I paid as well. I received paperwork from my insurance stating they paid, so I proceeded to call my insurance and informed them I paid cash as well. The insurance stated they had to return the money to me; the insurance called many times to let them know and also to follow-up. Fast forward, DeLa Russo never refunded the money they owed me. My friend also decided to get surgery with me and we were able to book for same day back to back. Scheduling was fine and so was all the pre-op and post op appts. Surgery was done on a Saturday and follow ups were always weekdays. The providers here and staff are all so nice and friendly. Very informative. The day of surgery everything went flawlessly and i knew exactly what you expect b4 and after. Highly recommend this place. I come yearly for annual eye exam and never have an issue making an appt. The only advice i have is make sure you plan ahead with trains/walking to get there on time. I always try to leave earlier so i don't have issues with being seen.
