Dr. Muller is the best. So kind and compassionate. Her staff is absolutely wonderful as well. I…read moreonly stopped going there cause I couldn't afford it anymore cause I was doing self pay. She gave me discounts on eye plugs for my dry eyes which I appreciated so much but I'm not working cause I am taking care of my mother who had a massive stroke so I have no income now. I unfortunately had to find a new dry eye specialist close to my home in New Jersey. One day I plan on going back to her again.

I would rate Muller a 0 out of 5 stars if I could. She is by far the most dismissive,…read morecondescending, and arrogant doctor I've come across in NYC. First, she did not even spend more than 30 seconds observing my eyes with the slit lamp microscope despite numbing my eyes (completely normal and expected procedure btw, which she did NOT do). I came to her because of one very clear issue with my vision and instead of trying to diagnose me and hear me out, she asked me to pay for a $400 imaging procedure right away before engaging further, prescribed me 5+ different medications all at once post-imaging, and did not address the issue I came to see her for before rushing out of the room after being dismissive and impatient with my 4 follow up questions. Don't even get me started on payments. She insisted that I pay for the imaging procedure out of pocket despite my insurance company confirming 3x that they will cover it at a contracted price, which was lower than what her office was quoting me. She insisted that my insurance company was lying, and that I had to pay out of pocket and fight the insurance company after. That was the only arrangement she was willing to accept, on top of aggressively upselling these "allergy potions" to combat my dry eyes. I have seen enough ophthalmologists in the past and none have flagged allergies to me before (and she made a big deal out of my allergies). On top of that, her treatment plan is aggressive. Steroids 4x a day for 4-5 weeks? I've seen enough doctors to know that the risk of increased eye pressure would be too high for that dosage. It felt like she was putting me on a treatment plan with no real regard for my wellbeing. In sum, I agree with all the other negative reviews here. Please PLEASE read through these reviews before going to Muller. The way she operates her practice is questionable. Good doctors don't offer subpar, non-personalized care with no regard for the patient's circumstances, talk down to their patients, and insist on patients paying out of pocket at a HIGHER cost than what their insurance would be covering.

Rating: 5/5 Stars -- The Gold Standard of Patient Care…read more I've always been impressed when a practice maintains a near-perfect 5-star rating with hundreds of reviews, and after my EVO ICL surgery, I finally saw firsthand why they are so highly decorated. From the moment you step through the door, the experience is absolute concierge-level service. The logistics and booking were incredibly efficient, but it's the people who truly set this place apart: Yari and Briana: They were my rocks throughout the entire pre- and post-op process. They checked in on me so frequently and with such genuine care that any nerves I had completely vanished. I never felt like just another chart; I felt looked after. Cortes: Took the time to dive into the "why" and "how." I walked away with a deep understanding of the ICL fit, my candidacy, and exactly what to look out for. Dr. Brissette: Simply an amazing surgeon. She talked to me throughout the entire procedure, which was incredibly calming. Her confidence and decisive nature made me feel safe and comfortable in a situation that is normally quite intimidating. It is clear that this culture of excellence starts at the top and trickles down to every staff member. Their bedside manner is unmatched, and it's obvious that the patient's comfort is their primary mission. They even went above and beyond to ensure I was fully recovered and ready for my wedding day, which was the goal we had been working toward from the start. This was the best surgical experience I've ever had. If you're considering eye surgery, this is the only place to go.

I have never written a review before. Please do not go to Dr.Ashley…read more Brissette who has left Weill Cornell . She is now at this practice. I went to Dr. Brisette when she was at Weill for catarcat surgery. My right eye was operated on and was fine. I was looking forward to having my left eye done. The operation was not successful . I had very bad blurred vision. When I went back I was told by Dr. Brissette there was nothing that could be done . In other words I would have to live with it. After 2 operations I now have clear vision back in my left eye. I was very fortunate that I found a very well respected surgeon who was able to help me. It appears that I was not the only one out there who this has happened too ! PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR !!!!

Upon completion of my paperwork, I was informed that insurance would not cover it and that I would have to pay cash, which I agreed to do. Nonetheless, the representative at the desk collected my insurance information. I asked if I was paying cash, why were they collecting my insurance information? Her response was "in case something happened. It turns out that they submitted the invoice to my insurance, my insurance paid, and I paid as well. I received paperwork from my insurance stating they paid, so I proceeded to call my insurance and informed them I paid cash as well. The insurance stated they had to return the money to me; the insurance called many times to let them know and also to follow-up. Fast forward, DeLa Russo never refunded the money they owed me. Be careful, because if they did this to me, I am probably not the first or the last. Sincerely, CP

SCAMMERS!!!! If you live in Connecticut, literally run from this place!! They offer free follow up…read morecare for a year which is a complete lie. They closed their Westport office without calling clients to give them a heads up. The only place to follow up is in New Rochelle. They say they have a Stamford location but not for follow ups. Easy way for them to save money if they can't provide follow up for their clients. They are just a big factory cranking out 10min procedures. Do not trust your vision on these fools.

I've been a patient here for years. Things have changed…read more 1. The receptionist desk is completely inadequate. Expect to be put on hold permanently until you hang up. An a subsequent call, the receptionist said she'd call me right back, and didn't call back at all. When I left my comprehensive appointment, I was given either someone else's prescription, or an incorrect one. 2. I don't know the name of the doctor I saw (neither of the Dr. Nightingales, for the first time). He seemed competent enough, and I had no complaints at all - except that I left the practice with the wrong prescription - a single one for a progressive pair of glasses (which I haven't worn in years), and not for the two pairs I HAVE worn for years which I came to update. Since the receptionist is incompetent and doesn't answer or return phone calls, I don't know if the doctor or the desk was at fault for the wrong prescriptions. When I finally had a call answered, the receptionist sounded confused by the problem, but said she would email the correct prescriptions "in an hour." Shocker: she didn't. A subsequent call, and the receptionist said she'd call me right back. Shocker: she didn't. On my fourth or fifth call, I spoke to someone different, who took charge and finally sent what I THINK are the correct prescriptions. All of this delayed the new glasses by at least 5 days and counting (partly because of the weekend.) I'm now expecting to shift either to the excellent Dr. Hornbeck around the corner, whom I've seen before, or downgrade to simple optician in-house eye-testing for routine glasses/contacts prescriptions.
