Absolutely recommended. I don't know why I waited so long. The entire staff was amazing, super friendly. Process was not painful. If you're thinking about getting it done just do it you won't regret it

It's been almost two years since my LASIK surgery and it's still one of the best decisions I've ever made. I'm seeing so well!! I would recommend Dr. Dello Russo in a heartbeat.

Just me, with a big smile on my face happy with Della Russo/Lasik, just got it done. Best investment I ever made.

She gave me discounts on eye plugs for my dry eyes which I appreciated so much but I'm not working cause I am taking care of my mother who had a massive stroke so I have no income now. Within the first 30 days, I spent nearly $4,000 on out-of-pocket exams, treatments, and specialty drops, many of which were tied to affiliated "discount" coupon codes that felt more promotional than patient-focused. What was most concerning was the constant pressure to commit to additional treatments costing thousands more, with no clear explanation of a long-term treatment plan, expected outcomes, or realistic timeline for improvement. When I asked for time to consider the next round of recommendations before spending even more money, the doctor became visibly irritated, which made the interaction uncomfortable and discouraging. Another aspect that felt especially awkward was the consultation setup in the lobby area. Patients are brought into a glass-enclosed room where treatment recommendations and costs are discussed openly while staff and other patients can see you. It created an unnecessarily pressured environment to agree to expensive services on the spot rather than feeling supported in making informed medical decisions. I understand dry eye treatment can be complex and costly, but patients deserve transparency, empathy, and the space to make decisions without feeling pressured or judged.

My calendar alerted me that I had an appointment yesterday with Dr. Nagil but I wasnt sure I that I had made an appointment since I normally get a confirmation call or email about a week or a couple days before my appointment from doctors offices. I have been getting my eyes checked annually here in the last few years since I live and work nearby. I called the office to inquire since the alleged appointment was for 4:30 and I figured if so I would go. A woman with a Spanish accent answered and after we both exchanged the obligatory greetings I started explaining the reason I was calling and as I'm talking she suddenly puts me on hold without a word of notice. I hadn't even said my name. I was shocked and taken a back. I wait for her to return and after a few minutes and no response I hung up and called the office back. She answered again and I asked if she was the person who answered the first time I called, and put me on hold while I was in the middle of talking. She had the gall to say to me she doesn't know because there are other people answering the phones. I asked to speak to the manager and then she said the manager wasn't there (it was 3:45pm and according to google the office is open until 5pm) but what could she help me with. I again said I wanted to speak to the manager and she again says the manager isn't there. I then asked her whom I was speaking to and she said Lizzet, I believe. Then I asked her for the name of the manager and I belive she said Connie or Collene? I told her I was coming over to speak with a manager and she had the nerve to lie and tell me they were about to close! It was 3:48pm! I almost went over there to speak to anybody with authority at that point but decided not to give this individual the pleasure of wasting more of my time and getting more riled up in anger so I decided to write this review instead. This is not the first time the receptionists at this establishment have been rude when I have interacted with them. But it will be the last time! It's not cheap to visit this Dr's office. If Eastside eye associates chooses to hire classless uncivil people like I have encountered at their front desk I'm sure business will suffer. I know they will NEVER get mine again because I will NOTpatronize this business EVER again!

Very disappointing experience…read more Before arriving, I called to inform the office that I would be running late and specifically asked if I would still be able to see the doctor. I was told that it would not be a problem. However, when I arrived, I was suddenly told that I would need to reschedule. No one contacted me in advance even though they were aware that I might be late. According to the hospital's appointment system, the visit is listed as 15 minutes. When I arrived, I was unexpectedly told that the appointment would take 2 hours, yet no one could clearly explain why. If the appointment actually requires two hours, it raises the question of why I could not be seen the same day after confirming my arrival. The 15-minute late policy does not seem to be applied consistently, and there appeared to be little effort to help or find a reasonable solution. While trying to understand the situation, I asked several polite questions but unfortunately did not receive clear answers. At one point I briefly took a photo of the area, making sure not to photograph any patients or front desk staff. I was then told that photography is not allowed due to a sign prohibiting it, however no such sign was visible anywhere. Overall, the experience felt very disorganized and unhelpful. I remained polite throughout the entire interaction and simply wanted clarification, but none was provided.

I am very near-sighted and have a pretty rocky family history with eye health, so who I see is particularly important to me. Dr Hamakiotes is: + Knowledgeable and passionate, always aware of the latest developments and options. + Patient and patient-focused. I never leave feeling like I didn't get to ask every question I have. + Responsive in emergencies. I only see her annually, but when I had an issue several years ago on the weekend, was able to reach her for information and reassurance. + An explainer. For me, this is a key attribute in any doctor. I'll never know half of what they know, but I want them to educate me as much as they can in the time we have together. Dr H is forthcoming with helpful explanations of anything I want to understand. She shows me the imaging, explains what numbers mean. + Organized. My "chart" and all records have been well maintained over the years, likely no small feat given all the changes in software, imaging technology, etc. When I sit in the chair, I am confident that my full history is at her fingertips. + Clearly great to work with, as I believe she has had the same office manager for at least 15 years. On top of all that, the office is incredibly well managed by April. I don't recall ever spending time in the waiting room. When I have needed lenses ordered, shipped to different addresses, etc., she is always right on top of it. From the moment you step through the door, the experience is absolute concierge-level service. The logistics and booking were incredibly efficient, but it's the people who truly set this place apart: Yari and Briana: They were my rocks throughout the entire pre- and post-op process. They checked in on me so frequently and with such genuine care that any nerves I had completely vanished. I never felt like just another chart; I felt looked after. Cortes: Took the time to dive into the "why" and "how." I walked away with a deep understanding of the ICL fit, my candidacy, and exactly what to look out for. Dr. Brissette: Simply an amazing surgeon. She talked to me throughout the entire procedure, which was incredibly calming. Her confidence and decisive nature made me feel safe and comfortable in a situation that is normally quite intimidating. It is clear that this culture of excellence starts at the top and trickles down to every staff member. Their bedside manner is unmatched, and it's obvious that the patient's comfort is their primary mission. They even went above and beyond to ensure I was fully recovered and ready for my wedding day, which was the goal we had been working toward from the start.
