Jane was amazing at clarifying and working thru any concerns I had prior to surgery. I was the first appointment of the day and actually ended up on the operating table earlier than expected. The OR staff was awesome both prior to and post op. And their anesthesiologist Dr JT has the best bedside manner, hands down. He was not only very friendly but he went over everything, answered any questions without making me feel rushed, and kept me in a positive frame of mind right up until the moment I fell asleep. So glad I choose Dr Newen and The Image Center.

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE!…read more This is what Dr. Newen's poor surgical technique caused to my wife's breasts from a botched breast augmentation that he performed a couple of years ago. Besides being a jerk that has poor bedside manner and avoids seeing his patients after deposits and payments are made, he is a terrible surgeon. The specialist who removed the extensive scarring from my wife's breast said he does many revisions on patients that have work done by Dr. Newen. To have capsular contracture to both breast to this extent, demonstrates poor sterile surgical technique. Go to a real plastic surgeon that knows what he or she is doing. Dr. Newen is a horrible pompous human being and poorly skilled surgeonI am in the process of reporting his practice to the Medical Board that licenses him.

First off, the front desk team and consultation was not pressuring at all. It was very informative and was a clear process from the beginning. Also, the AviClear treatment here was ten times more affordable than any other place I consulted with and with almost no side effects compared to oral acne medication like Accutane. I've been struggling with acne since I was a teenager and finally found a solution! Nima was fantastic the entirety of the treatment regime and helped keep me comfortable the entire time. Within the first two weeks of the first treatment I started seeing clearing and continued seeing additional clearing through the treatment process. It takes a few months after the final (third) treatment for full effects to take place, but I'm already so happy with the results. I loved the office and Nima so much that I am now doing laser hair removal with them and that has also been a lovely process. I couldn't recommend Nima and the Sajjadian team more!

I sat in a room for 48 minutes waiting for the doctor to see me. Finally someone came in asked how I was doing and told me the doctor would be in shortly. I told them this was completely unacceptable and disrespectful of my time. If this is how they treat a patient who they've never met I cannot imagine the type of care that I would receive if I had actually gone through with any type of surgery. I am a reasonable human and if they had told me, the doctor was running late, or had checked on me 10 minutes after leaving me alone in the room to explain that something had suddenly come up , I would've been more forgiving. However, they had asked me simply to continue to wait after 48 minutes. Rude.

My original BA was done in 2014 and with time and weight changes I was due for a refresh. Dr. Luu took his time with his consult with me to listen to my concerns and my goals on what outcome I am looking for. While he was straight forward, he was compassionate and actually very knowledgeable in educating me what procedures he will be doing for me to get what I want. While it's only been a week out, they already look great and I cannot wait to see what my final results will be. Special shoutout to his team especially Maya who I met on day one of my consultation, Sylvia who answered all my questions and followed up with me until my day of surgery and nurse Elsa who took great care of me pre and post op. These lovely ladies made me feel so at ease as any surgery is nerve wracking. I never felt more comfortable as a patient as I've been to other offices in the area as I did here at Dr. Luu's office. I can't wait to see everyone again at my future appointments and will refer everyone to come here. Thank you again Dr. Luu and staff !

I've worked so hard, yet I was met with cold, dismissive questioning that honestly felt like a criminal interrogation. When I shared that my lower belly affects my mobility and breathing, he replied, "You're winded because you're out of shape," as if he could assess my fitness level just by looking at me. Sagging skin and weight do not equal poor health. Yes, I understand there's a Q&A process for insurance approval, but there's a way to ask questions with basic humanity. This wasn't it. The photography portion was clinical and emotionally detached, handled with no warmth. I left the office in tears. Other Yelp reviews speak of his kindness, maybe because they paid out of pocket. I came through Medi-Cal. Massive weight loss is a long, heroic journey. Surgeons have the privilege of offering a final, healing touch. That privilege was not honored here. It's not easy to get to this point after the rigmarole of referrals, hard work, and patience, but I will not be moving forward with Dr. Vu. Back to square one, but I trust I'll find care that recognizes I'm a whole person someone who deserves to be treated with respect, not contempt.

Hey Optum, you might want to have your nurses, especially JOSE and Guadalupe, read this…read more Managing pain relief is a human right, and what I witnessed was nothing short of neglect. My 70 year old mom, clearly in pain after eye surgery--grimacing, guarding her eye, and moaning--was dismissed by Jose, who told me to just take her home and give her Tylenol. No compassion, no care (These are the nurses that I always say will step over a body.) Her pain was moderate (5 out of 10). I was not asking for narcotics, just Tylenol. They wanted her to go home so she can take it there. They couldn't be bothered to do the extra 5 minutes of paperwork to ensure proper pain relief, despite having Pixes there. It's lazy, incompetent, and unacceptable. Jose's excuses I only live 15 minutes away. Another is that she's in pain because she bent down when they told her not to. MY MOM WHO WAS 70 YEARS OLD JUST WENT UNDER ANESTHESIA. They were SUPPOSED to monitor her closely after surgery. Jose's words were I don't know why she bent down when we told her not to. You don't know why she bent down because you weren't watching her like you were supposed to. To top it off, they tried to intimidate me by standing around me and calling me rude for advocating for my mom. I was asking nicely, now let me show you rude. Let me be clear: JOSE and GUADALUPE have no business being in healthcare. They lack basic empathy, and their behavior was shocking. It's a joke. If you feel something is not right. Do not let them intimidate you. Always advocate for your family members. Postoperative Pain Control https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3747287/ According to the American Society of Anesthesiologist practice guidelines for acute pain management in the perioperative setting, acute pain is defined as pain present in a surgical patient after a procedure. 1 The World Health Organization and International Association for the Study of Pain have recognized pain relief as a human right. 2 Poorly managed postoperative pain can lead to complications and prolonged rehabilitation. 3 Uncontrolled acute pain is associated with the development of chronic pain with reduction in quality of life. 4 Appropriate pain relief leads to shortened hospital stays, reduced hospital costs, and increased patient satisfaction. As a result, the management of postoperative pain is an increasingly monitored quality measure. The Hospital Consumer Assessment of Health Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) scores measures patient satisfaction with in-hospital pain management and may have implications in regards to reimbursements.
