I posted regarding the experience, and was given a generic response about contacting them if I wished to discuss the matter further. Why would I wish to discuss the matter further, since it won't do any good? Just look at the ratings of this hospital. Look at how many dissatisfied people are posting and receiving a generic reply. How about insisting nurses treat their patients with care, compassion and empathy? How about giving mandatory in-service classes regarding these valuable traits? it would go a long way towards building trust and comfort-particularly for terminal patients and their families. If it had been up to me,he would've been removed from the premises immediately after having requested pain medication for him, and being told he was going to be given Tylenol. It was known that he was in agonizing pain. It was known that his cancer had metastasized. He was agitated and in terrible distress, and it was all traded very cavalierly. What is Tylenol going to do for him besides nothing? 45 minutes later, there was still no sign of the Tylenol. As I stated before, this is unacceptable and absolutely disgusting. To top it all off, his nurse was told twice his catheter had become separated, and bodily fluids were leaking all over his bed. While she twice acknowledged she was aware his catheter was leaking, she made no move to fix it. Whatever happened to common decency and treating others with dignity? For context, my mother, sisters, and myself all worked in hospital settings for years. I have never seen such egregious disregard in a hospital setting. Absolutely outrageous and inexcusable.

Dr Vyas is the first endocrinologist and one of the friendliest, most informative doctors I have met with. She was very thorough looking through my records, and asked great questions. Having a physician listen to you is very assuring. I l gained a deeper knowledge of hypothyroidism and my own numbers, and what it takes to manage it better. I'm encouraged to move forward with her recommendations.

She addressed 100% of my questions and was personable enough. She seems knowledgeable and very professional. She is the type of doctor that tests before she pushes a drug which puts her at an advantage to other Doctors in my eyes. I don't like the trial an error method that many physicians use when treating their patients. It's dangerous and careless. Dr. King did thorough testing before she diagnosed and prescribed. Specifically, she discussed respiratory problems and fertility challenges. I felt that she met and perhaps exceeded my expectations of my office visit. I visited her at Irvine Odyssey, so perhaps it is fair to also give feedback on the office as well. It's clean, modern, warm, and most importantly efficient. I don't think I waited more than 5 minutes. I hate that awkward feeling that you get when you're in that uncomfortable hospital gown, the waiting room is cold, and you just keep wondering if you should take your socks off too?... there wasn't too much of that during my visit. It was easy to make any appointment. Although the front desk was busy, which made for a less warming welcome- you can tell that they work like the old school type offices where the doctor interacts with the staff and everyone keeps informed and on the same page. I should've given this review 3 weeks ago after my initial visit... but it wasn't until now that I got the chance to. I just called today because I needed information about allergy testing and Dr. King talked to me on the phone. She sounded rushed- which makes sense because she didn't make me wait while I was in the waiting room, others shouldn't have to either. I would've liked to have finished my sentences- but I appreciate her taking the phone in the first place. I would recommend you seeing her- and if you're the type of person that requires extensive time during an office visit, ask the front desk to schedule you during one of the SLOWEST times of the week. That's what I would do! As for me, I usually prepare a list of questions- do research at home- and I show up prepared to listen to the Dr. and learn.

And I can't describe it without going into personal medical detail. After every physical and every appointment, she follows up with a call that addresses my physical, mental and emotional health. Specific needs to me that she remembers in conversation and I never have to ask how it pertains to me. She replies to my calls and emails immediately and with tons of advice and for a Since then, I've sent my sister, my mom, my grandpa all to her. And she treats them all with the utmost care and they agree she's the best personal physician they've ever had.

My husband lost his desire to drink alcohol. He also lost 10 lbs. And he exercises 6 days a week at the gym. His sciatic pain is gone, and he's healthier than ever before. For me, I use to have neck and back pain, took several prescription medications for mood, and had anger issues. Now, my pain is gone, I stopped all my medications and my anger is under control. The effectiveness of the treatment takes some time to kick in, but the change is nothing short of amazing. The negative review may be understandable when you meet senior Dr Tong. He's a very enthusiastic sales person with strong opinions. There may have been a misunderstanding or a miscommunication between that patient and Dr. Tong. Dr Tong's treatment of injecting a diluted mix of saline and Marcaine into meridians takes many weeks/months to be effective. Going twice won't work, imo. And, you have to take responsibility for your own health. Doing the same old thing won't work. Exercise, stretching, eating right, and going to the Tongs works. We wholeheartedly recommend the Drs Tong.

It helps to come in with an open mind because he is far more than just a typical doctor. He opened my eyes to completely different ways of thinking about my health, my body, and the healing process as a whole. He does not take the generic surface level approach that so many western doctors seem to rely on. In my experience, he has done more for me in the last 6months than what generic western doctors have done over the past 30 years. The best way I can describe him is that he is like a doctor, a psychologist, psychotherapist and several other professionals all combined into one. He looks at the full picture, asks the right questions, and approaches things in a way that makes you feel like someone is finally paying attention and actually trying to get to the root of the issue instead of just putting a temporary bandaid on it. His office is also a reflection of that experience. It is tranquil, comfortable, and conveniently located right next to the freeway, which makes it easy to get to. I am very glad I was referred to him and I highly recommend him to anyone who feels stuck, dealing with an ongoing issue, cant pinpoint the cause of their symptoms, untreated by typical doctors, or like they need a different level of care and insight. I am definitely a lifetime client
