He likes to put fear into his patients , then sends you for every possible test , billing medicare and insurance companies galore for his benefits. I don't' even trust his interpretation of the tests. My primary disagreed with his diagnosis. Said everyone has some form of mild plaque. Have gone elsewhere and I do not recommend this doctor period. Wish I had read the many bad reviews on here before I saw him.

It is easy to make an appointment to see him without having to wait forever. He does not double-book or book patients at five minute intervals like so many other doctors here in the Coachella Valley. I have never had to wait more than just a few minutes in the waiting room before being seen. I have always found his staff to be friendly and helpful, particularly his nurse, Jennifer. Dr Zadeii listens carefully to your history, symptoms and/or complaint. He never rushes. A previous reviewer complained that Dr Zadeii spends too much time talking about diet, exercise and healthy living. Well he's a cardiologist for heaven's sake! It is his job to talk about and suggest healthier lifestyles for his patients and he does preach that on each visit, with helpful suggestions on diet and exercise. He also recommends tests that he feels necessary. Recently I returned from an overseas trip and had developed symptoms that made me think I was experiencing heart failure. I made an appointment to see Dr Zadeii who got me in right away. Based on my symptoms and his examination - Dr Zadeii believed I had suffered a pulmonary embolism and directed me to the hospital right away. His correct diagnosis may very well have saved my life. The tests he had them run at the hospital showed I had a blood clot in one leg that had spread to my lungs and indeed had caused a bilateral pulmonary embolism. I was admitted and treated. Had I waited another day, there might have been a very different outcome. Dr Zadeii followed up with me in the hospital, calling me each day and even followed up with me after my release. He has demonstrated the kind of caring and compassion you don't find in many doctors these days. I highly recommend Dr Zadeii if you are looking for a cardiologist who will take his time, listen, suggest positive lifestyle changes and recommend tests when necessary to ensure your well-being.

I have waited over 3.5 hours just to be seen. There have also been two separate occasions where I had been waiting for an hour for my appointment, with the waiting room full to the brim, only to find that he wasn't even here. He often arrives even two hours after his first appointment should have started. It has been impossible to get my records transferred. I have asked at 3 separate appointments for hard copies as well, and each time been unsuccessful. He also came to work with the flu once, which subsequently infected my entire family. He is a CARDIOLOGIST, working with people who have heart problems, and he decided that it was a good idea to come to work sick with a fever and the flu to infect his patients? Also, I hate to say it, but his accent is so thick that I cannot understand a word he says. The only good thing that I can say is that he has some great receptionists. They have been gifted with amazing patience to put up with Dr. Surender Vuthoori and his frustrated patients.

When I started my cardiology appointments with Dr. Neil…read moreDoherty in May of 2024 I felt fine. I told some friends of mine in Glendora who I was seeing as a heart doctor, and got very bad reactions and comments from them. I had already scheduled an appointment with him and decided to give him a chance. By August, I had difficulty breathing. I started having high blood pressure, felt dizzy, and had no energy. I was already scheduled for a PT scan in August, so I felt that everything would work out. In my appointments with Dr. Doherty, I have always found him to be very impatient and in a rush. He didn't like to answer my questions because of his inability to stay with me longer than a few minutes. I had a PT scan done on August 5, 2024 and saw him August 29th. Very little was discussed regarding my results at that time. I had already expressed my concerns about having difficulty breathing, as well as other health concerns that developed over such a short period of time. I felt it was not only important but essential to find out the condition of my heart, but did not find any answers from him; only more questions and concerns. I didn't appreciate his attitude and found it to be lacking in respect and professionalism. After my appointment I immediately started looking elsewhere for a cardiologist. I saw my new cardiologist yesterday and it turns out that I had a heart attack sometime before my PT Scan in early August. Dr. Doherty had the results of my PT Scan and never told me that I had had a heart attack! Did he even read the report???!!! My family is totally alarmed by all that has transpired, but very grateful now to have found and be under the care of a qualified cardiologist. Please Beware of this Sheep in Wolfs Clothing. ONE STAR is way to generous to give this dude.
