I called Robert this week to come check out my Kitchenaid Trash Compactor that got stuck in the down position (thus not allowing us to open the unit normally and get the trash out!!! Totally not cool!!!) Not to mention, I got a whiff of a burnt smell. Great, motor is blown, I thought. After a small bout of panic, I started to look through yelp for appliance repair in or near Azusa. I called 2 appliance repair places before I called Robert and both said they didn't work on trash compactors. I spoke to Robert and he was nice enough to come out the SAME DAY!! Amazing! He said it would be a $45 fee for him to go out there, great no problem. Surely, better than any fee Sears Home Repair would have offe He got to my place and took apart the trash compactor, allowing him to raise the compactor part itself! He confirmed the motor had burnt out, but I told him that I did not want to use the compactor function again. Now the unit works again! We can open and close it normally, all for only the initial $45 fee! No way!! (Wayyyyyyyyyyyyy!!) Super happy! I will keep his number handy for other appliance repair needs in the future. read more

He was honest about the amount of money I would have to pay to fix my machine and recommended that I purchase a new one. OMG No one wants to work or make some money! He actually picked up the phone, sent pics of the model # and said be out tomorrow between 11-12, 1:30 called him and asked what happened. He said I didnt give him my address so I asked, why didn't you text me?? He said, "we dont push people"....WHAT?!!! Seriously ??? He didnt want the job. CUSTOMER BEWARE. I called Robert to fix my washing machine. He told me he would charge a $35 fee, and if I choose to fix the issue the fee would go towards the parts. He told me the washing machine pump needed to be replaced. He gave me a quote of $162, that I agreed to pay. Then he told me it would take one week for the part to be ordered. I said I cannot wait a week, and so he asked me for the $35 fee. I told him that's not fair because I want the job done but I don't have a week to wait. As soon as I told him I had an issue with paying the service fee and not having the job done, he got extremely rude with me, stormed off of my property, and didn't even put the washing machine back together that he had taken apart. I immediately called him, and asked him to come back and at least put the washing machine back together that he had taken apart. He was very rude, unprofessional, and did not want to even put it back together for me. I recommend staying as far away from Robert as possible. His attitude and unprofessionalism was unwarranted and unacceptable. Trust me, go somewhere else. read more

Robert is a great! Fast, friendly and knowledgeable. His prices are very fair. Robert helped me out about a year ago to troubleshoot a fridge I had purchased on Craigslist. Unfortunately that fridge was not able to be fixed, but this was due to a design flaw and had nothing to do with Roberts competency. He came out 3 or 4 times to try to fix it and was very fair with his pricing policy on the repair he attempted. During this process I met with 2-3 other repair companies and spoke with several others. Robert was by far the best price and service out there. Today he just finished fixing a washing machine who's drain pump had gone out. Again, very fair pricing and fantastic service. Amazing! Last week our Electrolux washer just froze up on us. Worst part was that our toddlers clothing was is the middle of a wash. I called early morning the next day. Despite a holiday weekend, Robert came out on a Friday at 4pm due to our leaking dishwasher. He introduced himself and got right to work. Luckily, it was only a hose that had dislodged. We are completely dissatisfied with Robert's service. We asked Robert to fix a built-in microwave in our rental home. After looking at the microwave, he said the microwave was rusty. He said he could either collect $45 for check up fees and leave, or paint the microwave for an extra $10 to see if it would fix the problem. Our tenant paid him $55, but the microwave was still not working. Later, he said he would take the microwave to his office and fix it for free for us. However after he took the microwave, he told us the repair fee would be $239.17. We didn't think it was worth spending $239.17 to fix an old microwave and didn't agree on the repair, but Robert didn't return our microwave back to us. We feel cheated by Robert's lack of professionalism. read more
