I have always recommended this office to my friends, as the office is beautiful, the staff are friendly, and the care is next level. Some years ago, I voiced my concerns to Dr. Shepherd about potentially having PCOS. She took my claim seriously and gave me a formal diagnosis, which is more than I can say about other doctors I had raised this concern to. The past couple of months, I have been going through an ectopic pregnancy, which was at first thought to be a miscarriage. Dr. Shepherd and Dana Wicker were the two primarily responsible for my care during this time. These two women were incredibly professional, informative, and diligent in care when it came to my health and the potential risks this could cause. In addition, they were kind and compassionate as my husband and I went through our loss and the health anxiety it caused. I can say with full confidence that while this experience was incredibly difficult and heartbreaking, it was made better by the bedside manner and care provided by this office. All that being said, I will continue to be a regular patient here and recommend to anyone looking for an OB/GYN.

Where do I begin? I would give zero stars if I could. I went to Dr. Pagete due to having a fibroid…read moreI wished to have removed. I also had a LOT of symptoms. When I explained my symptoms I don't think she listened very much. I then had a hysteroscopy to remove my fibroid. The day after I went to the ER and much to much surprise, the fibroid was still there, alone with a cyst. I went to see her six weeks later and told her about my excessive bleeding, the fact that my uterus seemed to have tilted overnight, and of course my fibroid the exact same size. She brushed off ALL of my symptoms (and did not respond to my questions on the patient portal) and refused to do a sonogram to look at the fibroid again. She said she'd look at it three months later, when I think she would have blamed it growing back on time and not her surgery error. She also, without even looking at my cyst, said it was nothing. Fast forward to two months later when I go to the ER in extreme pain. I still have my giant fibroid and that cyst they think twisted but untwisted. I finally got see a credible doctor, and he tells me the type of fibroid I have cannot be surgically removed with a hysteroscopy. He said even the best surgeon can't because it's intramural with a slight submucosal bulge. He said she managed to shave 2 cm off one side, but I still had a 5x6x4 fibroid. He also said she wasted my money attempting that surgery and she should have known that, that fibroid could not be removed and shaving one side down would give no relief of symptoms. Also, the cyst she said was nothing, was now 5 cm too. So I essentially have a cantaloupe in me. My awesome new doctor preformed a Da Vince surgery and low and behold, I had endometriosis so bad my uterus was fused to my colon and he almost had to remove part of my colon. He said that's why my uterus tilted and she shouldn't have ignored me when I mentioned it. Second, I had stage 4 endometriosis which explains all my other symptoms she ignored. Third, my ovarian cyst was so bad my ovary and fallopian tube had to be removed. The doctor said it was a mess in there. That's the cyst she said was nothing. And everything else she said was nothing. Not to mention I wasted $5000 on a surgery that couldn't even help me to begin with. I considered a medical malpractice suit but after all that I just don't have the energy. I had a follow up appointment with her that I cancelled via voicemail, and she sent me a bill for a no show fee that's illegal. I cancelled with plenty of time it's not my fault they don't check the voicemail. So no, she will not be getting that money, especially since I had to have a second surgery two months later before I died of blood loss.

I have high-risk HPV, and even though I was getting regular Paps with my previous doctor, it progressed to severe cervical dysplasia and I was very close to having cervical cancer. That doctor did a LEEP procedure to take care of it and I've been fine since, but I was not happy with the way she handled my case. I asked a nurse friend who she would recommend, and she said "my gyn--Dr. Moreno!" She praised Dr. Moreno to the heavens, so I made an appointment several years ago. I almost walked out the first visit after waiting over an hour in her office, but I am so glad I waited. When Dr. Moreno came in, she listened to my entire story, looked at the records I'd brought with me, and agreed that I was a high-risk case and needed careful monitoring. She spent over 30 minutes with me and never seemed rushed. (This is why you may have to wait a long time to see her; she spends so much time with each patient -- but you will be glad you waited.) She was so caring and compassionate. She recommended that I have a D&C to be sure that my uterus was not affected by the HPV virus, which she did under local anesthesia in her office a few months later. She has PERSONALLY called me after every single 6 month Pap and HPV test to let me know that my results were normal. I have never, ever had a doctor call me personally -- if you're lucky, they'll have a nurse call you. Dr. Moreno has even called me twice when she missed me the first time! I just can't say enough wonderful things about this wonderful doctor. It is very rare these days to find a caring doctor who will spend time with you and not be rushed. If you can, book your appt. first thing in the morning to avoid waiting. As one other person commented, Dr. Moreno is a very cautious, conservative doctor, but in my situation that's a plus. She is fabulous!!!!!

Things took a turn for the worse when they switched to a "pay-for-monthly membership" model. For patients who couldn't or didn't want to sign up for an expensive subscription just to receive basic medical services, the message was clear: pay up or move on. That message became literal when I received a single written notice that they would no longer be providing care. There was no real transition plan and no effort to ensure continuity of treatment. As a result, my prescriptions were suddenly left unable to be filled, putting me in a stressful and medically risky position. Responsible medical practices don't leave people without access to necessary medications. The lack of communication, professionalism, and basic concern for patient care was shocking. I would not recommend this practice to anyone who needs reliable, attentive, and ethical medical support.

You're left feeling lost, ignored, and without medication. The phone lines go unanswered for hours, and there's no clear communication or support. After nearly two decades of loyalty, I'm heartbroken and disappointed that this is how patients are treated now. Transferring to TFC was the best decision we ever made. Dr Silverberg not only helped us conceive our baby boy through IVF, but he also discovered I was diabetic. Dr Silverberg is there for his patients, and he also got to the root cause of my miscarriages and after two procedures and the removal of all the polyps, I was finally able to have a successful pregnancy. I honestly wasn't sure we'd be able to have a baby until I met Dr. Silverberg. We will always be grateful to Dr. Silverberg and his team for helping us make our dream a reality. Our baby boy was born this fall! I can't tell you the amount of times I've emailed and called Dr. S's team with a billion questions, and they always met me with patience and compassion. Be sure to ask questions and voice any symptoms or concerns that you have at your appointments, because sometimes visits can go fast. If you forget, simply leave a message for the nurse line, and they will get back to you. After sharing with Dr S's team where I was mentally and physically with the IVF process, the team worked with me to find an IVF transfer protocol that met me where I was. IVF in general can be very mentally and physically draining, so be sure to let the team know how you're feeling if it becomes too much. IMO these doctors are definitely worth the wait time. That's how you know they spend time with their patients and THEY CARE. Any great doctor's office typically has a wait time. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone struggling with infertility. The one learning curve I did have transferring from another clinic was figuring out how contacting the nurse team and doctor worked. At the last clinic, I was able to message them directly in a portal. At this clinic, you have to call and pick the correct extension depending on the day and time. So when you meet with your nurse on the first day, make sure you ask them the proper procedure for that and make sure you understand it. Once you've figured that out, it's pretty straightforward. Dr S's nurse team is stellar, and they are really on top of things. If only every doctor's office had a team like that! They have spoiled me with how good they are! Another thing is to stay on top of is the billing with the billing dept since appointments and procedures happen frequently. That's the one thing I wish I was more on top of and kept better track of, especially in the beginning of the journey.

Sadly I did not have a good experience with this clinic. I made an appointment based on a word of…read moremouth referral. I went and was charged $300 as a "deposit" but I never saw claims filed to insurance nor did I get a refund from said deposit. Let's not forget to mention almost daily ultrasounds. Maybe that's where the $300 went to? in addition to the hour long waits for a 5 minute visit. All this while trying to keep my job and explain why I needed to see the dr almost daily. I went with the intention of getting lab work run and starting with pills (clomid or femara) as my obgyn didnt do this part. I was never allowed to do this as I was told It wouldnt work. (how do we know that?) Was sent to get an hsg without a negative pregnancy test in hand. (couldnt possibly be the first time they've sent someone to the ARA but they wouldnt help me so that was a waste of PTO, time and getting stuck in 5 oclock traffic unnecessarily. I had to drive bk to their clinic, get a blood draw so I could try again on yet another day. ) Not only was I not able to get a script for pills, I was told i should start with IVF. I absolutely refused and somehow this compromise was an IUI. What I should have done was walk out. But i let this dr talk me into an iui. $3300 later and who knows how many trips to the specialty pharmacy 30 miles away, I had a failed iui and a data breach bc someone left a laptop in their car. The final straw was being told my next step would be ivf or ovarian drilling. nope. nope. nope. I'm out. I ended up putting a pin in all this and ended up getting pregnant naturally about a year after I stopped going to this office but I still get chills everytime I see the exit off mopac. In summation, i will say he was super aggressive and seemed like he wanted everyone to get pregnant... but at what cost? I also want to mention I got a shot of vitamins (allegedly) that was above my hip that really aggravated my sciatic nerve... just be cautious. I thought I had a blood clot at first, but being that I am a runner I had it checked out to rule out any bigger problems. I ended up going to a different infertility dr who has now since retired but I wish I had gone to him first. If you do go here, I hope you are treated better than I was.
