Tons of cute items and many practical items at reasonable prices. I could spend all day in the store but due to COVID, they're requesting you limit your browsing to 30 minutes or less. Luckily they're extremely friendly and I was able to get all my questions answered from the variety of coffee related products to comparing the soda stream options. Especially with this year and the holiday season approaching, I highly recommend checking out Culinary Essentials for any dining related gifts or kitchen upgrades as the personal attention is so valuable and to support local businesses!

A delight for anyone who enjoys cooking. We spotted several items that would be great gifts... After talking with the very nice owners, I decided to buy my son (who lives in Ballard) some Christmas presents. We presented them with the problem that we would be returning to southern California, where my son will join us for Christmas. It didn't make sense to fly stuff down that he would then have to fly home. They suggested that I could buy the presents, I could give my son a card and the gift receipt, and he could collect the present when he came home. Genius! The owners put my gifts into a gift bag, topped it with crumpled purple tissue paper, and put it into the back to await my son's return.

The project came together, but not with a lot of back and forth that wasn't necessary. I had to do a phase 2 effort, that I wanted to match the cabinets, but I can't even get them to respond to a design request. I don't know about their past, but 2024 through the beginning of 2025 makes them a non-viable vendor. Consider others that will be responsive and prioritize your project.

There was something about Terence when I first met him that I really liked. I kept his business card. I ended cancelling my order with my cabinet maker and set up an appointment with Terence. I really liked the style of cabinets he was offering and really connected with him. I found Terence to be very hard working and honest. He really wanted to help me achieve the modern look I was aiming for. We connected and developed a great working relationship! I had quite a job for him, a kitchen, walk in pantry and 3 bathrooms that all needed cabinets. He was attentive to details and very responsive with communications in his emails and texts. Terence has so many years of experience behind him. He is so good in trouble shooting areas that might need a little help. He is also very hands on and did some of the install himself. He inspected every single cabinet and adjusted them where it was needed. Terence has a great attitude, happy and so easy to get along with. I really enjoyed working with Terence. I trusted his insight and judgement. I even would ask him for his opinion on decorating my home and he was so helpful with his design tips. I highly recommend Luna Kitchens and Bath if you are seeking a beautiful kitchen/bath outcome!

They were connected in series and installed on a wooden cabinet. I was looking for an in-kind replacement or another solution that made better sense for us. Ryan clearly understood our existing configuration and provided alternatives that made better sense, were less expensive, and provided better functionality. On replacement day, he and his helper were delayed by an emergency that required addressing before a restaurant could open; he let me know what his status was and when he would be at our facility. Once there, they worked very efficiently and made a nice, tidy, and organized installation. He handled all the permitting and the system passed with no questions or concerns. Best was the best value for our work, did a great job, and were nice while doing it. I have struck the other vendors off my approved vendor list and will use them for all of our plumbing needs.

Businesses like "Best" Plumbing are everything that is wrong in the service industry- scammy,…read moreunethical and vulture-like. We had a few plumbing issues that we wanted to address in our home and someone came over to check it out. We were told to pay $309 just for diagnosing what was wrong, even though we already knew what was wrong, and when we told him that was absolutely ridiculous, he charged us $110 just for coming out. The $110 would not be applied towards the cost of service. Mind you, we live less than 5 miles away. In today's economy, $110 is a pretty penny just to drive out to a house that's just a hop, skip and a jump away. I love supporting small, independently run businesses, but man, businesses like this one with outrageous hidden costs feel so gross, especially when you're desperate and need an urgent fix. With a Yelp rating as low as theirs, I doubt they'll survive for much longer.

PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!!! TL;DR: The premium price you'll pay is not reflective of true quality,…read moreservice or craftsmanship... instead, you'll end up paying a huge margin on poor quality cabinets to pay the middlemen! Writing a very lengthy review in hopes that others can make informed decisions about working with Phinney Ridge after our disappointing experience. In October of 2024, we chose to work with a small, local business because we expected a higher standard of quality, craftsmanship, and personalized service. Our initial experience in the showroom met that expectation and gave us confidence in the process ahead. Unfortunately, the remainder of the project did not reflect the level of service or product quality we anticipated. 10 months later, and we are severely disappointed with how things unfolded. This was a substantial investment--nearly $70,000--and we expected a finished product that aligned with the value and promises made. The first issues arose when the cabinet boxes arrived damaged. To PRC's credit, they addressed this with a restoration expert, and we're satisfied with how those specific concerns were resolved. However, the ongoing issues with woodgrain matching have been far more frustrating and ultimately unresolved. After three separate attempts, it became clear that a proper match was not going to be achieved. We were made aware by PRC that we would be receiving cabinets "from the same tree" to ensure an exact match across all cabinets. One day one, we had multiple varieties of wood grain/color. If consistent material wasn't available, we should have been given the option to wait. Instead, we now have five visibly different shades of wood throughout our kitchen as shown in the photos. We were also disappointed in the communication and service from Phinney Ridge once the "Pacific Coastal Marketing" team (a dealer representative/middleman) became involved. We did not expect to work through a third party--we selected PRC specifically because we wanted to avoid that kind of detachment. I found myself repeatedly chasing updates, which, according to PRC's own "Cabinetry Design Services" document, should have been handled by their team. It was unclear who was responsible for what, and the handoffs between Phinney Ridge and Pacific Coastal Marketing only compounded our frustration. To illustrate this disconnect, I'll share a quote from Pacific Coastal Marketing's homepage that I found telling: "Coastal Pacific Marketing offers valuable knowledge of the markets they serve... Their goal is always the mutual success of the manufacturer, the dealership, and each individual designer." Notably, the customer is not mentioned. This perfectly reflects the experience we had: at a certain point, it felt like the end user was no longer the priority. I share all of this not to be combative, but because I believe in honest feedback and hope this helps improve future experiences. Based on our experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend Phinney Ridge Cabinets to others.

Yelp review #1234!…read more Double masked and taking a break from working from home, I decided to check out the grand opening today (2/25/21) for HomeGoods at 130th and Aurora. It is located between PetSmart and Sprouts. Received a giant shopping bag upon entry, thanks! Never been inside a HomeGoods, brand new so very tidy and orderly. Places like Bed, Bath, and Beyond or Marshall's can be a bit messy in contrast. It has a a little bit of this and that of various home stuff and things. Perfect to refresh or fully outfit your home without breaking the bank. I was debating between a soft spring throw or a sauce pan, the latter wins! I zoomed past the vast kitchen gadgets and utensils and anything bunny related, resist impulse weaknesses. But roamed each aisle and got some note to self decorating ideas. My style seems to be post dormitory with a wee bit of orderly hoarder, lol. Prices were reasonable and a terrific variety. Check it out you're in the North Seattle. HomeGoods is located conveniently west of the I-5 N 130th exit or Hwy 99/Aurora whether by car or bus.
