It wasn't just the injury; it was inflammation, nerve, a lifetime of problems due to my flat foot, and I waited months after the injury. It's rare to find a doctor that makes me feel "heard". She makes you feel like your visiting family when you are here. She thoroughly explains everything and you are involved in the process every stop of the way. Both me and my son are patients and both have had minor, in-office procedures done and I can tell you that he level of care here is exceptional! The office is inviting and is beautifully decorated; there is also cute, whimsy foot art throughout. The entire office staff is very warm and friendly! I waited 20 minutes after my appointment time to be put in a room finally at 9:35 AM, . Once in the room, I waited an additional 15 minutes for the doctor to come in. When Dr. Kaas came in, and she explained she was held up for personal reasons. I then waited for the PA to come in to finish the visit and she did not show up at all. I waited another 20 minutes and I decided to leave. I am 67 years old and have NEVER left a doctor's office in my life. I told the front desk why I left. Five minutes after leaving, I received a phone call from the PA who told me they were short staffed. She invited me to come in today at my convenience to complete the treatment, but I could not. I will not be returning to this practice. This all could have been avoided by a kind explanation at any point in time while I was in the office.

Unfortunately, I didn't receive a warm welcome from the receptionist nor the doctor. I'm a 77 year old diabetic and immobile. The quality of care was inferior due to insufficient numbing procedure as well as a lack of patience, empathy and insensitivity to my pleads and screams for more numbing due to extreme pain. My cries for help fell on deaf ears. In return, he kept on grinning in my face. I had brought two people with me, my pastor and a geriatric nursing assistant; both stayed in the exam room with me throughout the procedure and was shocked by the doctors behavior. I've never been so horribly treated and subjected to this kind of inhumane experience. I was able to make an appointment with Dr. Baek at a time that met with my schedule. I was called to the exam room a few minutes before my appointment time and waited just a few minutes. Dr. Baek was very nice and knowledgeable and took time to explain his decisions and answer my questions and concerns. The office is located next to the Comfort Inn near Frederick Ave and Shady Grove Rd. When exiting Rte 370 to 355 South, stay in the middle lane to cross Shady Grove Rd. A few streets later, you will turn left and come to the free parking lot for the office building.

Dr. Asilli is a compassionate and outstanding podiatrist but the doctors/administrators who seem to run his office now are not. I saw wonderful Dr. Asilli for decades and most recently he refurbished my orthotics -- for which I was required to pay up front. Two and a half years later I still receive a bill for the full amount I paid from another doctor in his practice. Whenever I call, the receptionist acknowledges the mixup, politely promises to straighten it out with the billing office and call me back but I never hear from her. The billing office never answers when I try to follow up. My husband, also treated about two years ago by a different doctor, is in a similar endless loop. He had what turned out to be athlete's foot. Regretably, I talked him into seeing Dr. Mizuo, assuring him if he worked with Dr. Asilli he must be good. Dr. Mizuo put him on heavy antibiotics with uncomfortable side effects. They didn't work and he gave him another prescription that turned out to be over-the-counter cream.
