"Katie" was always available to answer my pre-op questions (medications, etc.) and I felt very comfortable when I arrived at the Center. From the phone calls to planning my procedure to checking in . . went as smoothly as it could of... All papers and instructions were exactly as KATIE the scheduling/receptionist had relayed. She helped me through this process, was very knowledgeable of all answers to the questions that I had. Very courteous too. The nurse ANGELA who actually helped me get ready for surgery was very considerate and hospitable. I'm sure she could tell I was very nervous. She made sure I was comfortable and checked on me frequently. Keeping me informed to any information that was needed. Masks and social distancing were inforced as much as possible. I would recommend this surgical center. They took very good care of me. Thank you ....

I saw Dr. Coster because of plantar fasciitis symptoms. His remedy was to have foot tapings done…read moreby his office and to take 1600 mg of ibuprofen daily for three weeks. When I asked if there were other treatment options we could explore before taking all that medication he replied "not if you want to get better." He also sold me $80 shoe inserts, which the office billing person said my insurance would not pay for. When I told her my insurance did cover prescribed medical equipment at 100%, she said no it definitely would not pay for the inserts and requested the $80, which I paid. (the same inserts are on Amazon for $47.) Not wanting to heavily medicate before exploring options, I found many examples on the internet of people having cured their plantar fasciitis by rolling golf balls or frozen water bottles below their feet. Coster never mentioned this (or anything other than medication, additional foot tapings by his office and inserts sold by his office) as treatment options, but I immediately started doing it, without medicating, and within a month my plantar fasciitis was completely gone. My insurance then did immediately pay Coster's office the full amount for the inserts, so I assumed his office would issue a refund for my $80 overpayment. After three months that had not happened, so I called their billing office to inquire why I had not been refunded and if they were planning on just keeping my $80 double payment, and was told "oh I'm glad you called because we don't really have a way of knowing that this had been paid twice." ??

He had to give my foot injection which last time this happened w/ dif doc I screamed like I was giving birth! He reassured me multiple times, his asst called to reassure me all was well. I came in nervous, but he talked me through it, gave me the injection and talked me off the ledge. He was great at helping me through my whack phobia of shots in the foot. I felt better almost instantly. Im so grateful I found him!!!!

If I could give a 0 star review I would. I am a martial arts instructor who is suffering from all…read moresorts of foot ailments. I really needed to see a podiatrist like yesterday. So I was happy to have my appointment today at Alexandria Podiatry Associates. However, after dealing with the absolute mouse maze (no cheese at the end) of a parking lot with loads of self important beta yelling at me for going the wrong way (sorry I missed the faded arrows indicating that I was indeed going the opposite direction of traffic. I entered the utterly generic building and climbed the 6 flights of stairs (ouch on my feet).... there was at least 57 people waiting in line for the elevator and my excitement turned into extreme disappointment. The young woman at the desk was atrocious. Rude, abrasive, and curt, she promptly said I needed to reschedule my appointment because I could get my virtual card (I don't want to hand out my card with Covid on) from my BC/BS app because their system down. She said I had to leave even though the waiting room was empty. Oddly enough in the 10 minutes it took to drive home the computers at BC/BS were back up and I get access to my card. I've seen and had some terrible experiences in doctors' offices before but this rates with the worst. Message to the doctors at the practice: You may be good at your job but your front desk reflects you. This is a nickel and dime operation and I actually feel bad for you. I hope that you tighten it up. I hope that you recognize that people going to the doctors are going because they are in pain or not feeling well and that your environment should be inviting and warm. Not cold and rude. All she had to do was wait a few minutes for BC/BS to reboot their system and I could have shown her the virtual card. Instead she walked away dismissively. I did set an appointment for a week from today but I went online as soon as I got home and found a different place. (they even have a spa!) No way in hell I'm going to give my business to you guys. I feel bad for everyone who has to endure this person's petty behavior including the doctors who are losing business because the first person people encounter has the personality of an ice cube. 3 words guys... Tighten. It. Up. The operative word in healthcare is CARE. Get it right. Don't get it mistaken.

So admittedly I had insurance when I went to see Dr. Graziano, whereas the prior viewer did not…read more Frankly I had a really great experience with Dr. Graziano. He has great bedside manner, he uncovered a hairline fracture that my regular doc missed and was patient and listened to all of my questions. He was willing to work with me on some alternate plans to rehab the break. Anytime I have any issues with my feet, I always work with Dr. Graziano. The office condition is meh. I would say that it is run-down, but I don't think I would say it is filthy. A lot of the doc offices in the area are kind of run-down to keep overhead low.
