I love being a member of this Y! First of all, it's really big and it took me a long time to get…read morethe run of the place. I'm still finding new rooms and amenities that make my membership really worthwhile. Most recently, I discovered the 18+ women's locker room, which is separate from the regular women's locker room and it is absolutely wonderful! It's pretty quiet in there, and it includes vanities, hairdryers, a pumping lounge, a sauna, changing rooms, and lockers. It's a very comfortable space for women, which I can really appreciate! I'm also a big fan of the yoga classes here. Tuesday night's "gentle yoga" is a great class with a fantastic instructor. I always look forward to going! There is a little bit of the spiritual aspect of yoga thrown in, but it is not too much. It is mostly focused on the yoga itself. And while it is a slower-paced class, the instructor will suggest ways to make a pose more challenging. Thursday night yoga is also a good time, and a great workout. It feels more like a fitness class, but it still retains that zen yoga energy. There are also day-use lockers that do not require a separate lock - just entering your own code - next to the yoga studio, which makes storing all my stuff really easy. There is also a lot of workout equipment! There is a good variety of machines for cardio (I love the cardio mezzanine, it's such a nice space overlooking the weight room) as well as for weights. When I do not want to workout in the weight room, I can go into one of their gymnasiums and use the free weights in there as long as there are no classes going on. In general, the Y is pretty clean and updated. The only exception is the regular woman's locker room. The staff have always been kind to me and very helpful when I need something. As for parking, the lot gets pretty hectic. It's on a somewhat busy side street off of a busy main road. The lot itself is tight and strict about the use of the parking pass. Overall, there is a lot offered here and I have always been pleased with my experience here.

Since it is on a main road, their parking lot seems to be shared with other public buildings. You need to pay during the weekdays. Hopefully they figure out a free parking situation one day, because until then, I'll only be coming on the weekends.

They make accommodations for every child's needs. My daughter has been going here for almost a year and I can't imagine her going anywhere else. They also are truly amazing teachers. My daughters language skills have improved tenfold since she began attending and her personality and social skills continue to grow and improve each day with the help of all of the amazing people working here. Enrolling here was one of the best decisions I've made for my daughter!

They have provided a loving, trustworthy, thoughtful, and educational environment. Staff make it a point to learn about each child and create lasting relationships. It truly feels like "the neighborhood daycare/early childhood center" that so many caregivers wish for and for that, I have so much gratitude. As a parent, the last I want is to worry about my child when I drop them off. Never have I been worried about leaving my child there. Regarding the building, it's clean, safe with a security door, and a fenced play yard away from the busy street. they follow the public school curriculum. The teachers are wonderful. The director is amazing. If your child goes to DECC, you're one of the lucky ones.

We put our son in Twinkle Little Star (Attleboro N.Main St location)based on review but we found…read moremany mistake with TLS during 1 month so we opted out. 1st week my son (2.5 years) was very happy with it (being parents so happy) but eventually 2nd and 3rd week became bad to worst due to following reason. My son got head injured while playing outside (normally it happens while playing, we understand that) but they didn't tell us when we picked up our son.S o we reached out to them they said that due to work, they forgot as well as its just a minor scratch & they will be sending us the injury report but till date we are waiting for that. We didn't receive it so far and gave us excuses that it is minor scratch & no blood came out. 1) Teacher changed every week after 1st week the main teacher left. 2)After 1st week they will even throw away the food he didn't ate. My point of putting food back in the lunch/breakfast is that after getting him home I would know atleast how much he ate or not. Also he was just going for 3 hours- 9 to 12 pm. 3) We have to follow up every week if something finished/completed like diaper, cream etc. They never told us in advance. 4) They made many mistake like lost ointment & later found out, lost enrollment documents (after sometimes they found it) etc., 5) After we complain about all this the owner Hala came on 3rd week to take care of certain things but the point is she will be around for sometime so even the employees should be doing same. 6) Also they have app in where they send updates but thats very irregular. I thought atleast when I am new I will be getting regular updates but everything was fine till 1st week & after that even though we ask for updates they will send for 2 days & then again stop. My son has started crying a lot after this experience. He just freaks out if we keep him with some of our friends with whom he used to go & play before.

I followed the guidelines before and I will in this post. I just would like parents and future staff know that this preschool is under investigation with the EEC (I also know this because I was the one who called. I am a past employee). They do not follow protocol call when having teachers certified. Your child will be in a classroom with staff who are not CPR\first Aid trained or teacher certified. They had two covid cases when I was working there and did not tell the staff. Until the word was spreading to the staff. They did not inform all the parents, since some of the teachers floated around the building who were in contact with other kids. You think they shut down for a day or two to do a deep cleaning. But they did not. They started to tell parents a bug was going around, when kids were being sent home with high fevers. Which we don't know the truth since they had two covid cases that week. I just hope one day this preschool takes things more seriously. All they worry about is having enough staff to cover a classroom even if you will be out of ratio. On my last day I had 23 kids in one small classroom. All aging from toddlers, preschool and pre-K . Just think how crazy that was for me. Mind you the classroom was set up for preschoolers , so there was some toys in there that toddlers could of chocked on. I just want parents and staff to know the truth. I hope this one does not get taken down, because then I was told I had to call the headquarters for them to investigate why and why it keeps saying I did not follow the guidelines. When I did and I reread them before this post. I just hope for change because it definitely could be a nice place to work at. Just needs better owners, who care for the children and not the money.
