Additionally, the staff is extremely communicative, caring, and thoughtful regarding the care of my infant. The space is always tidy and well taken care of. The classes are small and personalized. The staff is very friendly and so good to the kids. My oldest has some special education needs and they were also very flexible in working out a schedule with us so that he could attend a specialized program in the morning and then attend the center in the afternoon. They send daily updates about activities and hold special programs and events for the kids to make their experience extra fun. They show deep understanding of their students' individual needs and consistently treat them all with immense care and compassion. My children adore all three of their teachers. While the warm, caring environment is where ESNS shines in our eyes, the way they teach students is also remarkable. Many schools learn through play on paper, many learn to play in action as well, and do a great job of "tricking" kids into learning. Somehow though, ESNS tricks me, too. I rarely see the academics happening and suddenly my child comes home and knows how to write his name and his brother is telling me which two words rhyme. Their learning through authentic play, wholesome approach to teaching critical social-emotional skills, and opportunity for students to build advocacy and have choice are among the many reasons East Side Nursery School has been so fantastic for our family.

They are patient and dedicated and committed to caring for each child as an individual. We are thrilled with the way this school allows our child to be herself while supporting her growth!

She came home every day happy and excited to go there full time, and loved her teachers and new friends. The staff makes your feel so welcome when you are dropping off and/or picking up. My wife and I have found ourselves on multiple occasions taking almost an hour to talk about the children, what they are learning, what they are struggling with, or just the weather. All of the teachers are awesome from the originals to the new ones. I've never had any problems my children love it. They literally love them like their own. I used to live close when they started out now I drive all the way from providence and will continue until my youngest ages out, Because I don't trust anyone else with my children. they are a very trust worthy crew wouldn't recommend anyone else.
