Not only are they unfailingly kind and patient, their team is deeply compassionate. As a worrier, I was incredibly anxious to leave my baby for the first time, but they were honest and forthright about their extensive safety measures and fastidious cleaning. And on the first (very emotionally charged day: for me, my daughter was thrilled to meet new people), they were more than understanding and encouraged me to stay as long as I needed. I am so grateful to this team and feel so fortunate that my baby is getting the love she deserves there!

Choosing who to trust with the care of your…read morechildren is a difficult decision, but the staff at Little Angels always gave my husband and me peace of mind knowing our children were loved and well cared for. Our family has used their childcare services for five years, and one of the things that has stood out to us is the consistency of the staff. There has been very little turnover, and many staff members have been there for years. Everyone is warm, kind, and wonderful with the children in their own unique ways, which speaks volumes about the quality of the program. One memory that will always stay with me happened when my son was about 18 months old. He was very shy and soft-spoken but was obsessed with The Night Before Christmas and would recite lines from it at daycare. One of his teachers went out that evening, on her own time and with her own money, to buy him a little board-book copy so he could enjoy it at daycare. I was so touched knowing that the person caring for my child genuinely knew him, loved him, and supported his interests. I also love that Little Angels is small and intimate. The class sizes are manageable, and each child receives individual attention. There are no cameras, electronic sign-in/sign-out systems, or daily photos sent to parents. If that is what you're looking for, Little Angels may not be the right fit. Personally, though, I appreciate that the staff are fully present with the children rather than spending their time taking photos to send home. After five years with this wonderful program, I am incredibly grateful for the care, love, and support they have given both of my children. I highly recommend Little Angels Academy to anyone looking for a warm, nurturing, and personal childcare experience.

He is a quiet and shy child, and the teachers brought out the best in him. I was very sad to see the school year and summer program come to an end, but we were ready to start Kindergarten thanks to the wonderful staff at Little Angels. My son learned Spanish, sign language, math, science and many more things. I honestly wish this school continued into K-5. Our son would be staying. If you're one of the many who have to head back to work with a new baby in tow, then you know…read morethere's nothing more nerve-wracking than placing your brand new darling in someone else's hands. You worry about whether your baby will like the caretaker...whether s/he will like them more than you...whether they will care for your baby as well as you could...and whether they will be kind enough to not tell you that they witnessed your baby's first word/crawl/gurgle/etc. If you're also in tune to the importance of early childhood education, you likely also want to know whether they follow the standards for care and that they are fostering your child's social, emotional, and educational learning and expanding your baby's gross motor skills. Whew. It's exhausting, thinking about all those things...and, as a new parent, I thought of all those and more when trying to decide where to enroll our daughter. A Child's University was seriously one of, if not the, best place we could imagine. Each and every day, she loves going to 'school'. I also love that she can grow there and maintain continuity, as the school goes up until Kindergarten. I have full confidence that she will develop mentally, socially, and emotionally under their watch. They do wonderful craft projects, even with the teensy babies, and every time I pick her up she is happily playing with the various toys or other children - always with one or more of the teachers sitting watchfully. All of this allows you, the parent, to feel good about the fact that your child is engaged all day long. And, while they do have a ton of rules and protocols to follow, I know all are done with safety in mind. The teachers are outstanding. I am not joking when I say that a primary concern of mine is whether they will be sensitive to the conflicting emotion caused by leaving your baby with another caretaker. For that kindness, and for the kindness they show to my daughter each and every day, they get an A+ in my book.

We are so taken care of here, our feedback is frequently requested.  Any questions I've had, are answered within hours - day or night.  And I have to give Jamie, the Director, major props because not only is she cool, calm, and collected with great communication skills, but she's also fashionable, stunning, and super funny. In addition to the amazing employees and the beautiful and bright space, this is a quick list of what I love so much about A Child's University: *It is accredited - It is extremely difficult to achieve and maintain academic accreditation.  It shows in all levels of the education. Yes, even my 11 month old had a daily curriculum they follow including themes, art projects, science, math, and health/motor skills. *Daily art projects.  Yep, even in the baby room, they do art! *They exceed the state's teacher ratio standards by staffing more educators in each room than the state requires.  Full time educators have their degree. *It's clean.   *They play music entering and leaving the building, and in the baby room. *They use an app that sends push notifications so I know the minute my son goes down for a nap, has a wet diaper, and how much of his lunch he ate (or threw on the floor as the case may be). *They send several pictures daily and have a live stream camera. *They have a nurse on staff daily. *The staff is so loved, and in return they shower our babies with love.  It makes me smile to see all of the love notes and gifts that the teachers received.

I genuinely like all of the teachers at the school, including the Director Miss Kristin and assistant director Mr. Brent. I'm going to focus this review on the infant teachers because, as mom, I find myself most worrying about my baby. Since my daughter had already been in many of the classrooms when my son started, I was VERY confident that I was leaving my new baby in great hands when I had to return to work. The head teacher Miss Laura was the same head teacher than my daughter had so I was familiar and very comfortable with her. My son had colic during his first few months and a milk protein sensitivity. When I explained all of this to Miss Laura she listened carefully and that gave me reassurance that my son would be properly cared for. After about a week, one of the other infant teachers Miss Brianna, showed me a new way to hold my son that helped calm him down when he was colicky and in pain. My husband and I will forever refer to this as the "Brianna hold". All three teachers (Miss Laura, Miss Kailey, and Miss Brianna) show a personal connection with my son and my older daughter even though she isn't in their class. We have been working on teaching my son to crawl lately. By "we" I mean me, my husband, my daughter (she's a great big sister helper!), and all three teachers. Earlier this week, I saw a video that they took for me of my son Army crawling!! One of the special parts about this video, which they may not have even realized, was how involved and excited all three teachers were! One was holding the camera, one was on the ground and encouraging my son to reach and crawl for a toy, the other teacher was on the sidelines with another baby and cheering on my son. All three were giving him the encouragement he needed to work on this new skill! The Children's Workshop isn't just a day care. Even at this early age, TCW is an educational institution working with our children to help them grow to age appropriate milestones! We even get reports home each month explaining which milestones my son reached and what he goals are for the next month: holding his own bottle, feeding himself food, learning how to use utensils or a sippy cup, crawling, walking, waving, etc. These teachers aren't just "teachers". They are friends and caring adults who I trust completely to help my son grow mentally, physically, and emotionally!

We feel fortunate to have a place to bring our kids where they are safe and have fun. Teachers come and go, which can be frustrating, but it is somewhat expected in this industry, and we have always felt that the various teachers truly cared about our children. There was a period of high turnover where the director and assistant director left that we considered going elsewhere, but by the time we could get in anywhere, things settled down and the school got a new director. Since Jason has been at the helm, the school has never looked better and we have seen lots of improvements. We feel confident about the school under his leadership. The only other drawback about this school is the co$$$t, but it sure is nice not to have to pack a lunch or snacks which are included. I am always impressed with the arts and crafts done in the toddler rooms and also appreciate how often the children get out in the fresh air when possible. I have hundreds of adorable pics I have gotten in daily updates through the years but there were very few I could share while being mindful of privacy.
