My technician Cory gave me a deep tissue massage and my husband had a relaxation massage by Jenn. We get massages regularly back home so we are tough critics because we love our Massage Therapist back home and going someplace else is always tricky - both Cory and Jenn did a wonderful job!! We enjoyed the little touches we do not normally receive, like a light eye covering, a warm towel on our feet and hands at the end; for me when Cory was done working on my back she placed a warm heating pad there while she worked on my legs ... heavenly! If we lived here we would be a regular patrons!! The space is welcoming and calm. We highly recommend.

When my husband mentioned this to them when booking, they highly recommended the restorative message with Malia for me. Upon arriving, there is plenty of parking since it's in a small plaza. But it's a bit tricky to find the first time, since it is through a door and up the stairs. The receptionist was really nice and had us checked in quickly and got us water. Malia and Ashley kindly greeted us and brought us to the couple's room where we got settled in. My husband said his massage was really relaxing and Ashley was able to hit a lot of pressure points he didn't know were sore and tired. Malia was AMAZING, there was a point she used hot stone on my foot, and it was hurting so much due to the plantar fasciitis, but I knew I had to endure it. She really focused on the calves and foot with heat and helped me feel relax and comfortable. After the massage, Malia really took the time to explain home remedies and what I should do to help with plantar fasciitis. Overall, 808 Wellness Spa was amazing! We had such a relaxing and great time here. After Malia's advice in taking better care of my foot and massaging it as she recommended, I feel so much better while doing my high impact sports. I highly recommend this place if your body feels stressed and sore.

The place is like any spa in that there were many items for sale in the lobby and once you get to the back, you put your things away and take it easy. CJ was my massage therapist and while I don't typically choose a male therapist, I was happy not to have had a choice because he was amazing. I have felt great for days. You're greeted by a practitioner who offers you to change into a robe and you're brought to the room with the singing bowl its about 6 feet wide and you're suspended in A hammock over the bowl. The practitioner bangs the bowl with a tree log every 15 seconds for 20 minutes. The Bowl specially designed and tuned to provide the receiver with a wide range of frequencies. Sound therapy and sound healing are real things. there's a chart on the wall shows how the bowl was calibrated. My partner said she felt like the vibrations made the Hammock swing a little bit She found it deeply relaxing and enjoyable. I was able to sit in the room while the session was going on and I found the sound relaxing and enjoyable as well. This is a great present for someone's birthday or graduation but I also could see this as a good thing for a bride to go to before her wedding to get relaxed for before the big day. A really a unique experience. Just a quick FYI when your sessions over and you're super relaxed make sure you're careful when you get out of the bowl overall this is something highly unique and worth checking out

She was attentive, asked if the pressure was okay, and really focused on the areas I requested--my neck, shoulders, hands, and feet. I opted for the cocoa butter treatment and it was absolutely perfect! My husband scheduled the massage and told me it was 5:00 p.m., so I showed up at 4:55. The receptionist didn't mention the time, so I assumed 5 was it. I was shown the locker room and then walked out to the lobby in my robe. They let me wander around for about five minutes in the lobby in my robe before telling me that the relaxation room was through a door in the lobby. That was very confusing and awkward. Then, once I was in the relaxation room, I double checked the time and my massage was at 5:30! Yikes. Thankfully, Nadine was awesome and that was all that mattered in the end.

Booking is a challenge right now because Julie is in transition between setting up the new…read morelocation. I was glad I insisted on booking her, and that she reached out through Yelp. Julie does so many things - hands, nails, lashes, so many different types of massages, etc. If I lived in Maui, she would easily be my one-stop shop for everything. Massage - Hands down, probably the best massage I've ever had. She targeted my shoulder and neck area because they were my most knot-filled areas and it was amazing. Her massage and pressure points felt like they had purpose instead of me being randomly punched. I had to force myself to keep my eyes open so I wouldn't fall asleep and not be awake to enjoy the benefits. She also gave really great advice and educated me about certain pressure points to take with me to future massages. Lashes - Refills looked even better than what I remembered having. Overall - I feel like Julie got the short end of the stick. The $170 price for the best 90-minute massage and lash refill for the quality I received in return was phenomenal and I can't wait to go back to her for all of my beauty needs when I'm in Maui. Thank you, Julie!
