We couldn't be more grateful for the wonderful service and our new unit's performance! They worked throughout a chilly day to get us up and running before a winter storm. Our new HVAC system is AWESOME. Our old unit was too small to heat the entire house, and we had to use space heaters to warm our bathrooms up enough to take showers! That's no longer necessary. We're snuggly warm right now and awaiting a snowstorm in comfort. These guys will treat you right. Miguel kept us updated throughout the search-and-order process through install. He sent us an invoice that outlined and explained every step, with an estimate that was right on target. No ugly surprises or ripoffs here! I can't say enough good things about this business. I highly recommend them. Thanks, gentlemen!!!

He installed a NEMA 14-50 outlet to accomodate our EV charger. He had to run the new wire from the electical panel in our laundry room to the outside front wall, a distance of ~20 feet. Christopher came over and installed an exterior gate, re-grouted part of a shower, caulked a difficult to reach tub and took down a bunch of old painter's tape. Even though the instructions were followed on the gate, the gate install was wobbly (the factory provided concrete screws were too small). Christopher came back with his own screws to stabilize the fence and added an anchor to the top, which did the trick! Because of their great work on the first project, I had them come back and install two new garage door openers and an exterior light fixture. Garage door openers can be tricky to properly install and balance, but the job turned out great, including the programming multiple remotes and keypads. I was asked about my preferences for what buttons I wanted on the various remotes. The exterior light looks and works perfectly. Overall, I'd highly recommend Gonzalez Handyman Services. They even swept out my garage before leaving!

If it has been a while [read years] since you went through your crawlspace, or even if it hasn't,…read moreyou might want to take a look. We were fortunate that two different service persons who were in our crawlspace both commented that "You might want to do something about the mold." So we looked. Yep, it WAS that bad. Who to hire? And what EXACTLY to do? We did get four quotes although they all had slightly different components. Ultimately, we chose Carolina Casa, and we're very glad we did. Owner Ryan Leheny came by within a couple days of our inquiry to scope out the project. He listened carefully and made suggestions but was willing to modify tactics based on our desires. We went through a few emails (well, maybe more than a few) back and forth and he was always willing to adjust. A short one week after signing the quote (several times updated based on our emails) Carolina Casa was ready to start. Ryan's team was professional, courteous, and conscientious, spending six hours (or more) at a time in the crawlspace. As with any project, there were some minor hiccups but the team took them in stride and made things work. We never encountered a "That's not in the quote," "We can't do that," or "That's just the way it is" situation. In fact, Ryan and his team went out of their way to remove some non-functional pipe hanging in the crawlspace. At the inspection (yes, sealing a crawlspace requires a permit in Wake County) there were some minor issues raised which Carolina Casa returned within days to remedy. The inspector also praised the work as high quality. We are pleased to recommend Carolina Casa of Wendell, NC unqualifiedly.
