I've worked with the Pavley Team on several transactions over the last 4+ years - both personally and professionally. I met Rob through Terry Garfink when she moved to his team at KalFinancial. I had an existing relationship with Terry at her previous firm, but as I got to know Rob, I gained full confidence in his ability to lead his team and communicate with me and my clients. I'm glad Terry joined his team. I look forward to working with them more and I highly recommend them to others.
I first met Terry when needing a loan for myself as a first time home buyer. I had a very good paying job but had a lower-end credit score, a fair amount of expenses, and not very much cash in savings. I had talked with other mortgage lenders and I felt like I was just a number to them, and at that, a number that didn't add up well enough to waste their time.
Terry was the first loan officer that made me feel like she really cared about me and my goals. Admittedly, my dreams are often "big hairy goals" and I look for "unique opportunities" that others may find intimidating or sometimes silly. For a loan officer, those dreams may very well be irritating too, I'd imagine. Not to Terry. She didn't criticize me, but helped me break down the pros and cons of my options and come up with plans and timelines to achieve those otherwise ridiculous sounding ideas and turn them into viable goals and achievements.
Terry did an amazing job of helping me understand the confusing world of mortgages, and she didn't cease trying to find the right loan to fit for me. It was tough because I was just on the edge of available programs. I honestly and firmly believe that it was because of her and her communication with the listing agent that I was able to buy my first home. After that, and over the years, I refinanced my loan through her--again, I asked "the impossible" of her and I knew it, but I was confident she would search until she found the right mortgage product fit for me. We also planned out strategies to reach my goals. We have spend innumerable hours talking about my financial goals and what it will take to get the properties I want. She didn't care about being paid. Her approach to me didn't change, regardless if there was any monetary benefit for her or not.
Because of my personal experience with her, and knowing how well she handles a first time home buyer, when I became a real estate agent, I was fully confident to recommend her to my clients.
As a real estate agent, I have worked with the Pavley Team on several transactions of various types. Two recent ones were pretty complicated. Terry, Rob and the team kept clear communication with me, my clients, and the listing agents. One client, who was a first time home buyer that had not been pre-approved yet but decided on a Saturday that he wanted to put an offer on his dream home, which was due on the following Tuesday--the day after a three-day holiday weekend. Terry was on vacation. She answered my calls on Sunday morning. She worked from overseas on the Monday holiday to get my buyer fully pre-approved and ready to offer on Tuesday. We got the offer accepted and Rob and Terry continued to give my client 5-star service throughout his transaction.
This is just a glimps into the experiences I've had working with Terry Garfink, Rob Pavely and the Pavely Team. I highly recommend them if you want a mortgage team that will really look into finding the right mortgage match for you and helping you with your goals. read more
