I'm self employed and my wife is a teacher so we have health insurance through her school. However, when she changed schools we had a 2 month gap where we would not have any health insurance so I called Rob, explained our situation, and he helped us out with a short term policy just in case something were to happen. The peace of mind that it brought to our family was better than what the price would have been but the good part is, the policy was very inexpensive too. Thanks Rob! read more

I found Rob Hess from his business page on Facebook. I called and left a message on Sunday to request his help to walk me through deciding what health insurance plan to choose since I recently moved to Arizona. He called me first thing on Monday the very next day and discussed my health care needs and sent me three quotes via email I could peruse. I set up a face to face meeting with him for two days later. Rob was very gracious and easy to talk to during my meeting with him. He went through and explained the best choices for me concerning medical care plans in detail, thoroughly answering all my questions. Rob presented advantages and disadvantages of one plan to another until I came to a decision on what plan to choose. He made the choosing of a new health care plan along with vision, dental, and accident coverage easy and painless. He also was able to do the application right there in his office and submit it electronically. Making a choice of a new health care plan upon moving to a new state can be intimidating and daunting by oneself. I was relieved to find that Rob Hess was able to help make this process easy. His office is easy to find and has great parking right next to the building so there is no stress on getting to your first meeting with him. Rob can also do the insurance process completely over the phone if you are unable to see him at his office. I would completely without a doubt recommend contacting Rob Hess for your insurance plan needs. read more

I called Rob Hess and did not receive a return call for about 10 days. I then called again and mention my prior voice mail message and he said oh I think I deleted a bunch of messages. It certainly sounded like a baloney excuse to me. I then went to meet him at 9 a.m. on a Friday at his office and I waited for 30 minutes and he never showed. I also left him a voicemail after waiting for the first 5 minutes that I was at his office and did not hear back from him. He called me later and this time again blamed office equipment for his not showing. Once shame on you. Twice shame on me. Maybe he is just losing it as there are similar reviews in 2016. If it was possible to give no stars at all I would do it. read more

Update: When I needed to cancel my plan, Rob was nowhere to be found. I sent 3 emails and called twice. Of course he was great in the beginning when I needed to get set up, but after he got me on a plan and had me write reviews for him he disappeared. I had to call my bank to put stop payments on my charges because he never gave me access to SurePay, then spent several days playing phone tag with BCBS to clear up the invoices for past due payments they started sending me. Good thing companies like Zenefits will soon phase out sketchy brokers like this!!! read more

Worked with Rob over the course of a few weeks, needed new insurance after moving here to Arizona. Rob was helpful in trying to decipher Obummer care. Had to make the 02/15 deadline, Rob told me he would call me on 02/09 to finalize paperwork. Haven't heard from him, ended up just going through the market place. Perhaps this is not typical of Rob, and I certainly hold nothing against him for it. Give him a shot, hopefully he calls you back. read more

Rob did a great job in quickly explaining the various options to me and very helpful in guiding me to the options that best fit my situation. I was losing health insurance coverage, and had called a couple of other agencies before this and they were not near as helpful. I ended up using a combination of his recommendations for the current year to fit both my wife's and my situation. He also advised me of a few "gotchas" and was very open to answer any questions. He also called back afterwards to check. Really nice job on the service front. Gerald read more
