Roasting waters, wow! I have not been here in 6 years. I happened to be in the area and I was like "roasting waters?!" I had to swing by to grab something. I arrived in the morning around 11:30ish and it was not busy at all. I asked the cashier for recommendations since I haven't been in such a long time. The service wasn't anything crazy. He answered my questions but was not overly enthusiastic or friendly. I ended up ordering the pineapple crush with jasmine tea as the base. I really enjoyed it-- I wanted something refreshing for the warm morning & that sure did it. I loved eating the pineapple chunks with the boba I added. The plastic cup they provide is the cutest thing ever and can def be reused. We love a recycling queen. The top even has a removable lid where the mouth spout is. I was amazed. I'm use to the lids you have to flip and stick inside the cup, so go figure something different and I was like WoOoOoOow! Overall the prices are within the market for drinks, and I like the fact I get a reusable cup with it. Inside they have some cute merch! Other characters and such. Located in the towne center, there's ample parking in the lots.
I used to be obsessed with this place but haven't been in awhile, and never to this location. First off, as soon as you walk in, you are transported to a cute teahouse with cute cups on display that I always wish you could buy. So many Hello Kitty ones that are super cute. There is some wall art throughout the tea house, too. Def worth a photo. We came on a Saturday afternoon and it was empty so we got my order quick. I ordered the Strawberry Kiss. I got green tea as my base and the drink comes with strawberry bits. My mistake in not adding boba and the girl at register didn't ask either. The tea was a bit bitter but may be because of the green tea. It was okay and not my favorite. To top it off, this location does not give away the collector cups. I just got my drink in a regular cup. That was the fun part about coming here and collecting the cups. Overall, not much of a fan for their teas and this is probably my last time here.
I came all the way out here for one of those cool looking reusable cups with the design on them and the twist looking lid. I've been seeing a lot with the cute astronaut on the cups, sailor moon and other collections with different shows When I walked in I saw all the glass shelves with all the cool different cups. So I got really excited. (The place actually had a bunch of cute stuff everywhere). I was greeted by really friendly staff. I asked her how it works? Like, how much do I have to spend in order to get these cool cups? Is it just certain drinks it comes in? And then that's when she told me that I have to check their Instagram to see when they are giving those out. (I even offered to pay for them, but unfortunately she said they weren't for sale) and just kept telling me to check their Instagram account for when they are having the cups available for that. This was really disappointing, but I did still stay and get a drink. Which, it actually was extremely delicious. I went with one of the- Chill me, drinks. I went with the pink frost. The chill me drinks say- they are made with non dairy base, blended ice, real fruit, 100 percent juice and no artificial syrups or powders used The pink frost had pomegranate and coconut. And again this was absolutely delicious. So I would come back and hope that it's on the days where they have the cute cups. I just wish that since they had the cups on display that I could of bought one of them Other than that, the staff was friendly and the drink was really good. But I wouldn't have came if I knew that and wish it was listed somewhere so I could have at least called beforehand. So that's the only reason for the 4 stars
I absolutely love coming here. The drinks are incredibly delicious, and the customer service is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend visiting this place (:
amazing that I haven't written about this place already. I still had the old glass bottles in my photos for here. After all this time this place still has some solid hitters that you just can't get anywhere else. Always end up leaving with a Jack n Jill or the Yeti, i also like castaway.
Long Beach is one of their newer locations (I'm not sure if they've opened more, but it's one of my favorite locations to go to aside from Westminster. I always get good service here at this location and it's a must go to before heading home to San Jose. The people I've encountered at this location have always been very nice and sweet despite me ordering 10 drinks at a time. This interior of this location is super cute and clean. If you need to use the bathroom, they're located outside across from the store. Pro tip: this coffee freezes really well! Hence me buying 10 at a time. Also, my very picky Vietnamese mother loves their coffee too and that's saying A LOT.
We're frequent customers of Roasting Water, but this was our first time checking out this location. It's located in the Long Beach Towne Center near the movie theater. One of the things we've always liked about Roasting Water is the variety of drinks and the unique cup designs that set them apart from other boba spots. We visited during a promotion--spend $15 and get a free character keychain. The staff was nice enough to dig through the options so we could get the character we wanted.
Been coming here for years every once in a while and I really enjoy the drinks that I get! I've also been getting super cute bottles every time! It was empty when we went on a Saturday evening so drinks came out quick! Friendly service. They have lots of cute stuff to buy ranging from various animes to Studio Ghibli merch. What we ordered: -Strawberry Blonde Smoothie: I've always gotten smoothies because the smoothies just hit different here. Anyways, this one was so refreshing and good! Nice mango flavor and creaminess (I feel like there's yogurt in this one? It didn't say.) and wasn't too sweet. I didn't taste the strawberry much but I enjoyed it! 4/5 -Green Milk Tea with boba: My brother got this and really enjoyed this! Something I noticed: Their bottles have definitely changed through the years. I believe that they used to be glass and have an actual cork lid! This was what lured all of us to this place back in the day. Then they transitioned to plastic bottles with metal screw on lids that had a small handle which was very handy! Now, they are plastic with a wider mouth and a larger screw on cap without a handle. I'm guessing that these newer cups are more affordable and durable than the OG ones which is totally understandable. Props to them for being able to consistently offer cute/cool designs on their bottles that customers can reuse and staying relevant through all these years because a lot of businesses have closed down in the plaza that this shop is located in and not much new businesses have opened up since. Overall, I really like this place and love the bottles they present their drinks in! I'll definitely continue supporting this unique place!

Awesome place to grab some tea or coffee before or after a movie! I ordered the White Peach Tea with mangos and pineapple. It was nice and refreshing! They also have boba! The tea comes in a cute reusable plastic bottle! read more
Yum! Been wanting to come here for a while. The place is small, but well kept and clean. Ordered the green tea with less sugar. It was pretty good. I appreciated how the staff recommended adding a little sugar because their teas tend to be slightly bitter. The less sugar was just right. We also ordered their strawberry blonde and wow, I'd say it's one of the best I've had next to AU 79. Plenty of parking in the Towne center. The shop is located just caddy corner to Starbucks and in and around the movie theater. I love this spot especially in the springtime. You can hang out in Center patio area and just chill. read more
My cousin and I wanted bubble tea, and we looked up places that had cool cups, and we decided to try out this place. At this time, they has the astronaut bottles. I really liked the menu here. A lot of unique and yummy-sounding tea flavors. The tea flavor combos all come with their own toppings already, and you get to add two more for free. And I like that they have a variety of toppings, including fruits. The price is a little more than most bubble teas, but you are already getting toppings in there plus the two additional at no charge, and it comes in a cute bottle. We ordered the Hot Passion and the Cool Raspberry, and they were pretty good. read more

I usually love this place, especially the delicious Avocuddle Buddy smoothie, but today it was very disappointing. The service was prompt and amazing, which is why the review got one more star, but the smoothie was practically inedible. I don't know what was wrong with the avocado, but I'm pretty sure the rind or something got blended in because there was tons of chunks that were not even chewable. Really cute store and yummy drinks that come in glass bottles that are cute AF. So much cuteness displayed all throughout the store, mostly cups and their likes. I got the Cast Away - if you like pineapples and coconut, this drink is right for you! For the 2 free add-ons, I got: pom poms (a red colored boba with water chestnut) and chia seeds. Any extra add-ons are 50 cents each. Drinks and bottles aside, the wait time kind of kills it, they need to add a register and staff up because I'm never coming back! Thank goodness there was a breeze or I would have abandoned mid wait. We were in line for over an hour just to place the order and another 20 minutes to get the drinks. read more

The drinks and cups are so cute! Definitely IG worthy of photos. Customer service: 5/5 they really know about their drinks and are willing to recommend what goes well together. Wait time: 4.5/5 Not too busy. Even at night before closing. Less than 5 stars because there's only one menu at the front, and it hold up the line because people don't know what to order. Drink: 5/5. I am a daily coffee drinker. And their coffee is really good here. read more

Delicious! Just discovered this place, a friend introduced me to it. I always get a chill me and so far I've gotten the lychee drink and the guava drink. I loved them both, not sure which one i liked better but I'd recommend both. I also love the add ins, which you get 2 for free and you can add more for like 50 cents each. I really liked adding lychee and coconut jelly which i added last time, but there's alot more which I'm gonna try next time. read more
What an amazing place! Fruit infused teas, smoothies and coffee's with a twist is what this place serves up. Although I love my coffee, this place offers a very interesting mixes of seeds, exotic fruits and juices that are blended, then funneled into a unique bottle that's kinda cool! Did I say you keep the cool bottle? Thats right! The worst part of coming here is trying to select a drink from the huge variety of mixtures. I must have read the menu twice and still couldn't decide. Finally I ordered the Avocado smoothie. It may not sound like the sexiest selection but it just might be the best drink in your group! It was creamy and delicious! I loved it. An Infused teas place may not sound great to a lot of people but you'll be very surprised by how great they actually are! Enjoy! read more

We come here from time to time for their great tasting smoothies which is served in plastic bottles. The plastic bottles are decorated with funny designs which sometimes reflect the seasons. The bottles alone are worth the cost of their smoothies. read more

Let's be real and keep it 1 hun'ed... You're coming here for the cute bottles! Well, yes! The bottles are half the fun when coming here. But, their drinks are just as good! And you get your choice of up to 2 free add-ons if you like. FREE. ADD-ONS. TWO. super awesome! The location is right in front of the movie theaters and right next to starbucks. Drama. Haha! It's a small little place but it is so cute! They have so many coffee cups, bottles and collectibles for sale. Also nice to browse at while waiting in line. Apparently it gets packed on weekends but I went on a Sunday night and while the line was somewhat long, it went by pretty fast. I've tried their RW coffee and omg, that salt creamer mix is soooooo good. It's not salty like an ex boyfriend fighting your current boyfriend salty...it's just a hint of salt in the creamer that makes you believe there is a God. If you're into coffee I really recommend the RW. I've tried the RW coffee with coffee jelly and it wasn't my thing. I was expecting the coffee jelly to have a boba texture but it was actually tiny firm cubes. No thank you... I've also tried the Thai tea with boba. That was good too. Not too sweet.. but that coffee is tough to beat. My friend got the strawberry kiss green tea said it tasted like flowers. Haha! Ok! Definitely check this place out! Finally got to try out Roasting Water, drinks are yummy! Taste pretty light, you can adjust sweetness level which i like. Some of these asian drinks can be soooo sweet, I also like the add ins (basil seeds, lychee, pom poms). All drinks come in a cute bottle you get to keep :) THis location is at the Long Beach Town Centre, parking can be tough on a weekend. read more

Kid Point of View Review: The best thing about Roasting Water is that they have different cool bottles every month. My favorite drink there is strawberry lemonade with chia. I think this is a good place for kids because the water bottles are cute and the drinks are delicious. The only problem is that sometimes there is a very long line so, in conclusion be prepared to wait. read more
they again did not disappoint with their cute bottles and because it was slow, we were able to choose which bottle of the day we wanted! I got the sunburst smoothie and I was good, but the fruit bits were a little sour! it didn't stop me from drinking it because I don't mind but others might think differently if you choose to get that one. I also added tapioca pearls and that was a good choice as well! I'm from out of town but I try to come here when I do travel in the long Beach area! read more

Y'all know you come here for the cute bottles they serve their drinks in! The drinks themselves are oh so delicious but they are a little more expensive than other bubble tea or boba shops for the amount they actually give you. I've been here a couple times and the service is so friendly and cheerful. I've never encountered long lines so there is no pressure to order or be rushed. My favorites are the Royal Mango fruit tea, White Peach tea, Pineapple Paradise tea, and the Strawberry Blonde smoothie. Follow them on Instagram because they will update you on new bottle designs or specials they have going. Sign up for their loyalty program to earn stars to get freebies! They are located right next to the movie theater so while you are waiting for a movie you can grab yourself a drink. Parking in the Towne Center is always a drag so don't expect to find parking up close unless you come early. I will definitely be back to try some of the other flavors they have and grab me some more of those cute bottles! read more

Roasting water usually has great customer service but this past weekend is the last time I will go there! I ordered 3 drinks online at 9:15 am and the email said my order would be ready at 9:35 am. I walk in at 9:45 and "Randy" says oh I have. Question about your order. I said ok- oh we have no boba. It'll be ready in 30 minutes. I asked why didn't he call me to let me know? He says I didn't ask for your number so why would I call you? The website asks for my number - why didn't you call me to let me know so I wouldn't drive down until later? He repeats I didn't ask for your number so why would I call you- do you want to substitute something for boba? Ok- what else do you have? The menu is outside he says very rudely I ask for the managers name which he says is personal info and he won't give to me. I tell him you do know I can get that info from corporate right? He just stares- I walk out and since I have 30 minutes to wait I call the Huntington Beach location and ask for their manager and tell them my situation with the rude employee. They gave my info to their manager Monica who called me later that am. I went to pick up my order at 10:30 and as I'm walking out-"Randy" starts singing I hope you have a wonderful day- really? You've already upset me and now you're mocking me? Wow- can this employee get any worse? If this is the type of employee you hire to represent your company I feel sad for your company- very rude, disrespectful employees! Monica who is the manager at the Huntington Beach store said she would relay my story to Christine who manages the Long Beach location. I haven't heard from Christine which shows that she doesn't care about her customers either! read more

I've been dying to come here for their cute bottles. Thankfully the bottles were the cute origami ones. Got their iced Vietnamese coffee which actually tastes like Lee's. WoW!!! Just WoW!!! My taste buds are just so happy right now. I can certainly see why everyone loves Roasting Water, because now I am one of them. Located in the Long Beach Town Center, a couple of doors down from the Starbucks and across from Pizza Rev is this lovely little slice of heaven. I've been been seeing multiple reviews for Roasting Water and decided today was the day that I needed to stop in and give it a try, especially since I did not have my morning coffee yet. I ordered the Cafe Sua Da for myself, and being that it was only $3.50 (With a re-usable bottle, that is super cute) I decided to be kind and ordered three more for my girls in the office. I fell in love after just one sip, seriously it is the best Iced Coffee that I have ever had. The girls in my office also agree, they literally all came into my office to give me a group hug because they loved their coffees so much. According to one of them their coffee was "Life Changing", and I would have to agree. Will I be coming back, you bet your sweet @$$ I am. Though I would have to say the only downer is that they don't open until 7:30 a.m., if they opened by 6a.m. I would be here every single day for my coffee fix. read more
Love their strawberry blonde smoothie! The creamy texture and the fruit bits on the bottom make it so yummy to keep drinking. Smoothies here are generally on the pricier side for the area, but for $4.95, you get two free add-ons, as well as a nice glass bottle to take back!! Designs change frequently so it's tempting to come back for the new bottles. Also recommend the hot green almond milk tea if you're wanting something warm. On the sweeter side but sooo good- definitely my style service is fast and there are always cute cups and tumblers to look at while you're waiting. Recently opened in the Long Beach Towne Center. After a few Yelper friends came here and posted I decided to follow suit and come here on a Sunday afternoon. This is located next to the Starbucks there is plenty of parking when it not busy. But you can pretty much park anywhere and walk to it also. The place is kinda small so I could the line going out the door. I got the strawberry lemonade I was torned between that a the mango lemonade so my next trip will be that. Oh and you get the nice cute bottle as well. Overall experience today was good and the cashier/order taker was nice and helped me decide also on the strawberry lemonade. What time y'all really close cause the GG one says 10 on Yelp but 8 at the door?
I have swung by twice on my way to work recently around 8:30 in the morning and they are not open! Does anyone know what time they really open? (Online it says 7:30AM)

Unfortunately there's no knowing when they'll have what design. It's best to call ahead of time before going in or check their IG page to keep up with their designs.
Are the bottles BPA free? Ive been getting a lot of responses about being glass. Their bottles are plastic.
I do not know. The bottles do not have a recycling number. Sometimes they give out glass bottles but recently I've been getting plastic.
