A typical sports bar type of place. Very spacious, clean, and even though there are lots of tv's they aren't distracting. It's right next to the Guzzo Cinema so very convenient for an after movie dinner. I ordered the chicken leg with the mac and cheese as a side. Portion was more than enough but the food quality itself was just ok. The Mac and cheese was a bit weird tasting, the chicken was a bit dry and also not seasoned, it came with a piece of hamburger bread but that was just bad, the gravy was good though. It's a very safe bet if you have a large group of people and the tastes differ. There's a little something for everyone.

We were craving Nachos late at night and found Roasters on Yelp. We ordered through Uber Eats. It was a very disappointing experience. The taste and quality was below average. Would not recommend this particular item from the menu to others. It's sad when restaurants get such simple dishes, so wrong!

Great sports bar where there are plenty of screens to watch sports. The place is very spacious, which is great for groups. I came here with a friend and we shared nachos, onion rings, calamari, and crab cakes - yes, we were hungry! We also had a few gin tonics and beer - and thirsty too! Food was pretty decent and the gin drinks were not bad as well. Prices are fairly similar to other places serving bar food.

Dropped by this place to have a quick bite before heading off to Guzzo next door for a movie. I was famished and I went with a no thrill selection of a half-chicken with some fries and some Rickard's White because why not, this is a Rotisserie after all right? The chicken must be good... AND IT WAS! YEY!!! Within 15 minutes, my chicken arrived and literally hopped into my mouth in the most hospitable fashion. I already had my Rickard's White at hands mere minutes after I ordered to help me wash this great chicken down. Moist and tender this chicken was as a ravaged through my meals under the eyes of friends. The fries were done just right and came with an amazing bun (you know, not those cheap ones you get from St-Hubert) and sauce. Minutes later, I left satisfied and enjoyed the rest of the evening. The price tag is solid and the service was as well though I'd state some of the skirts were a bit too short for the conservative types but hey, I won't complain. I'm not conservative in the least.

Lots of natural light coming in from the large floor to ceiling wi does at the entrance of the restaurant. Very clean restaurant, food was reasonably priced and everyone enjoyed their lunches. Kids were really happy with the sundaes that came with their meals.

It's a bit strange, as the place is correctly pinned on the map the address actually not a fit However the name matches and I hope I'm writing for the right place I've been here frequently I've tried the steak with fries, Caesar salad, turkey, pizzas and hamburgers The steak is my favorite thu! At times they have on promotion this Rum ginger ale drink which is a wise choice ( im so rummy!!!) The overall quality is ok and it matches the price they charge The staff are always friendly and polite To me it is a nearby weekend eat out and I'll try it more for sure!

My experience at Roasters was average. The food was average and a bit salty. I had ordered a breast meal, but the chicken, unfortunately was a bit dry. The service was the most disappointing part... it took a awhile for the waitress to come and check up on us. We actually had to come up to her instead. It's a good idea to have a restaurant near a cinema, but I would not recommend this one.

The seating area for this restaurant and the service was pretty good. The food though, at least from what I got was just ok. I ordered the chicken tenders poutine and it ended up being disappointing. Kind of on the small side portion wise, especially if you're really hungry and the chicken was a bit dry. Probably should've got one of the burgers or the ribs as it was apparently better. I don't know about the bar but overall this place is just ok.

Waitress and host were very nice. However the burger was terrible. I couldn't finish it. Over priced and disgusting. 17$ wasted.

Every time I've eaten incredibly tasty chicken from Poulet Syriana. It's hard to describe the taste but I'll try my best: moist inside, tangy, savory and roasted flavours on the skin and outside. The fries are perfectly fried (crispy outside, soft and fluffy inside) and the garlic sauce is to DIE FOR. It's actually and honestly so good. I've also eaten fried chicken but their grilled/broasted chicken is my absolute favourite. One time they ran out and I was pretty sad, but it gave me the chance to try their pita sandwich(also delicious). It's one of those places where they don't have a lot of menu items but you KNOW it's going to be amazing because of it. Service: always prompt and always so sweet. They're very friendly! I picked up a meal during the covid situation and they were clean and efficient. The decor of you're sitting inside their little in mall restaurant is super cute. Lots of frames and posters everywhere. Super cute. I hope you all get to try this magnificent chicken one day if you're in the Saint-Laurent area!

TL;DR/The Short Version: Casual Korean eatery. Great combos…read morewith lots of variety. Everything was tasty. The Long Version: My husband and I went here for lunch. I got the fried chicken combo ($16.99) and my husband got the beef combo ($16.99). We requested no sesame seeds for our food and they accommodated by not sprinkling sesame seeds on the rice, japchae or beef, but they forgot that one of the fried chicken sauces has sesame seeds in it, so I had to give my husband that piece. We were going to share anyway, so it wasn't a big deal for me. The Fried Chicken Combo came with 3 pieces of fried chicken, each one a different flavour: original, sweet and spicy, and soy garlic. The sweet and spicy sauce has sesame seeds in it. Since I can't eat sesame seeds but can tolerate slight contamination, I didn't bring it up and just gave that piece to my husband. Although in retrospect I should have alerted them for them to be more aware for someone else who might have a more severe issue. Both combos came with japchae, rice, 2 dumplings, and coleslaw. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. It was great. I liked both the original and the soy garlic. Hubby liked the sweet and spicy. The beef was tender and flavourful. And I liked that it was lean meat and not gristly. The dumplings were deep-fried and had pork and vegetables in it. The rice was nicely steamed and slightly sticky which I liked. The japchae was flavourful and had shiitake mushrooms, carrots, bell peppers and onions in it. It was little too oily for my preference, but I still enjoyed it. The combos also came with a can of soda or a bottle of water. My husband got a Coca Cola and I got a bottle of water, which I took to go to drink during my shopping adventures after lunch, since we were given tap water with our meal. Service was courteous and efficient. Lots of indoor seating with televisions playing K-pop music videos in the dining room. The restaurant is down a flight of stairs, so might be a problem for those with mobility issues. Review #18 (2025)

Located in the heart of Old Port, this small joint offers a simple menu of bbq meats and sides. There is only beef ribs, porc ribs, pulled pork, brisket and smoked chicken, served with your choice of mac and cheese, coleslaw and baked beans. There are no appetizers and no deserts - however there is a cocktail and drinks menu. I do find it odd that the food menu is not posted on the website, nor on their social media. I saw some outdated photos of the menu other customers posted. The only place to see a physical menu is on the outside of the restaurant itself, otherwise once seated, there is nothing printed and the server will be the one to talk through the options. My partner and I opted for the beef ribs (there is an extra $7 for this option), pork ribs and smoked chicken. The meats were all very tender but lacked flavor - as if there was not enough seasoning or sauce. We had sides of mac and cheese and coleslaw. The food was very good, but not amazing and expensive for around $40 a person to start with plus the surchage for beef ribs. Cocktails were around $17. Very pricy dinner, for this, I expected larger portions. I found the Texas bbq experience to be lacking despite the website claiming this is Texas style. They surely do not serve American sized portions. I am a slim female with a healthy appetite and was disappointed in the lack of food, especially for the sides. There are maybe 3 or 4 bites of coleslaw or mac and cheese in each serving, yet these are the cheapest foods I don't understand why they couldn't be more generous. The time it took to prepare the food and serve us was also puzzling. We arrived when the restaurant just opened and were among the first to order yet waited probably a good half hour or more before our food arrived. The meats are all cooked in advance and I suspect the sides were as well - as we overheard a server mentioning the food is smoked in St-Eustache which is North, outside the island of Montreal. There are no smokers on site at this restaurant. I am glad I tried this place as there is a shortage of good BBQ within Montreal - however due to the portion size, slow service, price and location I would not come back. Unfortunately there is no parking nearby so be ready to pay upwards of $25-$30 for a paid parking lot, or take public transit if you can.
