We ordered this on doordash on a lazy sat for lunch. It's so risky getting fried stuff delivered,…read morebut hey, we were desperate and on a fried chicken craving. We ordered a 3 piece (brown meat) and a bag of popcorn chicken. It arrived after 35-40 mins cuz we live a bit far and I was despairing that it would be a soggy, cold, sad mess. Instead, I opened the packaging (super cute btw), and was greeted by 3 gorgeously breaded fried pieces of chicken sitting gloriously on top of massive amounts of perfectly still crispy cavendish fries. How amazing of a chef must you be to keep fried chicken and fries this fresh after a 30 mins drive?! And the taste!! It was ridiculously moist on the inside, still warm (not piping hot of course), and that breading was one of the best I've ever tasted. Light, slight kick of spice, and super crispy. Fries were fantastic as well especially given how quickly cavendish fries can get mushy. These were crisp on the outside, and soft potatoey on the inside. The best part of the meal was the sauces. We ordered hoisin and wildflower hot honey. Holy hell was that wildflower hot honey good!! Had to wrestle it out of my husband's clutches and even then fight over drippings in the box. It's like a fancy Buffalo sauce, but with much higher quality ingredients and an addictive taste that went so well with everything else. Can't speak about service since we doordashed, but prices were a bit on the expensive side. Nonetheless, we now have a new fav spot for high tier fried chicken and it's Roch Le Coq!

Even the slider is a big portion of fried chicken. So going beyond the sandwich itself, the pickled Cole slaw?!?!?! That just takes the entire sandwich over the top! It's what definitely gives the sandwich a "spicy" kick in your butt! Ordered online, arrived a few minutes earlier, but they were fast! Purchased sandwiches as my "to-go" meal before heading to the airport. It was so worth the quick detour!

By far the best roasted (broasted, they call it) chicken in all of Montreal. I've done takeout,…read moredelivery and in house dining at this establishment, located inside of a small mall. Every time I've eaten incredibly tasty chicken from Poulet Syriana. It's hard to describe the taste but I'll try my best: moist inside, tangy, savory and roasted flavours on the skin and outside. The fries are perfectly fried (crispy outside, soft and fluffy inside) and the garlic sauce is to DIE FOR. It's actually and honestly so good. I've also eaten fried chicken but their grilled/broasted chicken is my absolute favourite. One time they ran out and I was pretty sad, but it gave me the chance to try their pita sandwich(also delicious). It's one of those places where they don't have a lot of menu items but you KNOW it's going to be amazing because of it. Service: always prompt and always so sweet. They're very friendly! I picked up a meal during the covid situation and they were clean and efficient. The decor of you're sitting inside their little in mall restaurant is super cute. Lots of frames and posters everywhere. Super cute. I hope you all get to try this magnificent chicken one day if you're in the Saint-Laurent area!

TL;DR/The Short Version: Casual Korean eatery. Great combos…read morewith lots of variety. Everything was tasty. The Long Version: My husband and I went here for lunch. I got the fried chicken combo ($16.99) and my husband got the beef combo ($16.99). We requested no sesame seeds for our food and they accommodated by not sprinkling sesame seeds on the rice, japchae or beef, but they forgot that one of the fried chicken sauces has sesame seeds in it, so I had to give my husband that piece. We were going to share anyway, so it wasn't a big deal for me. The Fried Chicken Combo came with 3 pieces of fried chicken, each one a different flavour: original, sweet and spicy, and soy garlic. The sweet and spicy sauce has sesame seeds in it. Since I can't eat sesame seeds but can tolerate slight contamination, I didn't bring it up and just gave that piece to my husband. Although in retrospect I should have alerted them for them to be more aware for someone else who might have a more severe issue. Both combos came with japchae, rice, 2 dumplings, and coleslaw. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. It was great. I liked both the original and the soy garlic. Hubby liked the sweet and spicy. The beef was tender and flavourful. And I liked that it was lean meat and not gristly. The dumplings were deep-fried and had pork and vegetables in it. The rice was nicely steamed and slightly sticky which I liked. The japchae was flavourful and had shiitake mushrooms, carrots, bell peppers and onions in it. It was little too oily for my preference, but I still enjoyed it. The combos also came with a can of soda or a bottle of water. My husband got a Coca Cola and I got a bottle of water, which I took to go to drink during my shopping adventures after lunch, since we were given tap water with our meal. Service was courteous and efficient. Lots of indoor seating with televisions playing K-pop music videos in the dining room. The restaurant is down a flight of stairs, so might be a problem for those with mobility issues. Review #18 (2025)

It doesn't sound like much, but the fact they had high chairs for my son was a great touch. Jade was our server. She was very attentive and polite. This has been the total opposite of what we've received since being here. The food was sensational. Each tray comes with 3 sides. Mac, cole slaw, and baked beans. All 3 sides were delicious, and I hate coleslaw. The meat... The meat was fantastic. We paid the additional charges for a 4th meat, and we're very pleased with our decision. Pulled Pork, Brisket, Beef Rib, and smoked chicken were our choices. The salt and pepper base shined in every bite. The meats themselves didn't need sauces, but their mild and spicy barbecue sauces elevated them through the roof. The pull pork +spicy BBQ Sauce + Mac bite was elite. On top of all this, the proprietor, John, was delightful and shared a short story about his BBQ background as well as a shot of Canadian whisky. This is a must go for future visits to Montréal.

It's a bit pricey for the portion sizes and they run out of meat fast, so you have to get there early. Still, the quality makes it totally worth it.
