My tech, Evan, arrived on-time and got right to work. He only needed to replace the circuit board in the unit. So, I asked him why he was removing the metal bars that anchor it to the ceiling. "Because it wasn't done right when it was installed & it bugs me". He did that, at no charge, because he has pride in his work & the company he works for. Appreciated that so much because how else would I have known? Then Evan took the time to help us program the new remotes, apply lubricant, & look over everything to ensure both of our doors are working properly. Thank you, Apex, for treating us like family.

The entire installation process was incredibly disappointing, and the final result is completely unacceptable. Here is exactly what went wrong: Unprofessional Timing: The installer showed up late, setting a poor tone for the appointment right from the start. Rushed and Careless Work: The installer was clearly in a massive hurry to leave and did not take the time to do even the most basic functional checks to ensure things worked as expected. Dismissive Attitude: They barely spent any time looking at my existing garage door opener before outright declaring it was "broken" and wouldn't work. Ironically, after they left, I was able to get it working perfectly fine myself after just a few tries. Improper and Unsafe Installation: The new door is completely unbalanced. If you manually open a properly installed door halfway, it is supposed to stay in place. Mine does not--it aggressively shoots all the way up. This clearly shows that the springs are not balanced or tensioned correctly. If you are looking for careful, competent work from someone who won't rush through the job, look elsewhere. I strongly regret trusting the reviews for this business and would not recommend them to anyone.

My garage door spring snapped last night. This was the first time I've had garage door issues, and…read moreI didn't know exactly how to describe what was wrong. From the first call to the repair, my entire experience was smooth, clear, fast, and true to what was explained. Miley listened, answered all my questions, and helped set up a same-day time window to get us back up and running. Our technician, Mike, was polite and respectful to our home and to us. He provided a clear explanation of what was wrong and what would be needed to fix the issue. We were quickly back up and running without any hidden fees or costs. I highly recommend this company and will be using them should we have any other garage door needs. Thank you!

Neither happened. The finished floor was far from acceptable, but I didn't want to argue. Garage door opener: Right after that, I hired them to install a new garage door motor. The technician started running the wiring without using the existing conduit, and he nailed the cables onto my freshly painted walls. I asked him to use the existing wiring inside the wall. If I had wanted the cables run on the outside, I could have done it myself. He then told me that my garage door was in such bad shape that it would break right away. A year later, it still works fine. Garage cabinets: Even after all that, I hired them a third time to build my garage cabinets. The cabinets turned out great, and I recommend them. When the salesperson came out, I told him I knew some time had passed, but I still wasn't satisfied with the floor. He put me in touch with the head of that department. Until I signed the cabinet contract, this person answered my calls and messages and told me not to worry: they would fix it and add another coat so the floor would look like it did at first. After I signed, he stopped answering my calls and messages. I had to contact the office to schedule a date. They sent a young guy who didn't know what he was there for. He put two small patches on two spots: one where the epoxy had lifted and one where they had left a badly done patch before. The floor looks worse now than it did before he came. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way.
