After 2 days of hours upon hours of badgering from over a dozen brokers (I thought I was entering…read moremy info into a carrier search), research on the process of obtaining auto transport services, combing through ratings/reviews of many different brokerages and trying to dodge shady brokers, I reached out to the salesman who sold me the car for help. He didn't hesitate - a testament to his trust in Larry Levinson to provide extremely efficient, honest auto transport brokerage service. I couldn't have been happier. I FINALLY received an honest breakdown of how the auto transport booking process works (and in an informative method even I could understand - my RN/biological sciences inclined brain did not easily understand transportation logistics). Larry's transparency was such a relief. He helped me understand the 'board' all auto transport brokers use to submit bids (on behalf of their clients) for auto transport services, and the many unscrupulous ways many auto transport brokers 'trick' clients into entering into contracts using deceptive tactics. Cautionary note - despite my never signing an authorization, 2 of the brokers that had provided me some of the cheaper quotes took it upon themselves to (illegally) place auto transport bids on my behalf, and they placed the bids significantly higher than the quotes I was given by them. I further learned (and it makes sense), a carrier is always going to go for the 'higher bid', so having more than one broker represent you is a bad idea, since the bid will likely continue to increase as they fight to be the one to get your auto transport request picked up. Keep in mind, if you sign an authorization with a broker/pay their deposit, they can provide you with whatever price a carrier accepted - despite how much higher it is than the initial quote they gave you to put down the deposit, since their initial quote is an 'estimate'. There are an unbelievable amount of extra fees they can inform you of when your bid is picked up (AFTER you have entered into their contract). You can deny the much higher (now confirmed) price, but you are out part of the money you initially put down ('broker fee'). Often the client is out the entire initially paid amount due to giving up on the stress/time required to get the 'deposit' portion of the fee returned. I also tried 'uship'. Every quote I received was from another shady broker, many of which led me to believe they are a carrier. I had to look them up online to determine they were actually brokers. I hope this helps understanding the auto transport booking process, and saves others A LOT of headache, stress, time and confusion. Those low quotes are not realistic - and the brokers that claim they can get you those prices are aware they can't. You can absolutely trust Larry to navigate the bidding process to strategically get the lowest possible price for the given transport time frame. I can't describe how thankful I was for the help/support I received from him. I had an ally with expertise in a field I was extremely ignorant of. He genuinely advocates for his clients. If there is concern my experience might not be the 'norm', it's common knowledge a car dealership's good reputation is of upmost priority (particularly given the 'bad rep' the car sales industry has. My sales representative would not utilize Larry's service, as well as recommend him to his clients, if Larry wasn't a man of his word, and good at what he does.

Bruce at Above the Rest was a pleasure to work with and very transparent with the entire process…read more I had a fairly tight window for the delivery and he found a company that could make it happen. Not an easy ask when transporting from Oregon to Florida. I've worked with several transport brokers in the past with mostly good outcomes, but Bruce is now at the top of my list. The best review I can give is that I will absolutely call Bruce if I need another car transported and I've recommended his services to friends & family. Thank you Bruce!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!…read more We were originally quoted and contracted at $16,000 to transport our yacht. We Will Transport It was provided with the yacht's detailed dimensions and weight before the quote was issued and the transport was scheduled. When the driver was approximately one day away from delivery, We Will Transport It contacted us claiming the driver suddenly needed an additional $7,000 because the yacht/load was supposedly taller than disclosed and because the driver had to build an additional cradle. We were never provided with the drivers information or insurance. They did not tell us upfront this was a 3rd party driver and they only are brokers. We will transport it also claimed that we needed to deal directly with the driver that they had no control over the situation. Then, on the day of delivery, we were told the driver would now accept "just" an additional $4,000 or turn around with our yacht. We Will Transport It claimed they would be responsible for the remaining $3,000 allegedly owed to the driver, bringing the supposed transport cost to $23,000 instead of the contracted $16,000. We will transport said that the additional money/ balance needed to be wired to them before the load was even delivered. We did not do that as payment is done at delivery. When the yacht finally arrived, there was no additional cradle built, and the load dimensions were consistent with the measurements we had originally provided. The yacht was not suddenly taller as had been claimed to justify the additional charge. This was an extremely frustrating experience, particularly because the additional money was demanded when our yacht was already in transit and close to its destination, leaving us with very limited options. Our dealings with Daniel and Carlo were also extremely disappointing. Communication and customer service throughout this situation were unacceptable. Daniel refused to speak with me as he said he felt threatened. Based on our experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering this company to get every detail and potential additional charge in writing before allowing them to take possession of your vehicle, boat, or other cargo. I also recommend reading other customer reviews carefully before making a decision.

If…read moreyou've ever needed to get your car shipped, you know that it can be a pretty terrifying experience simply because you don't know who will be taking care and who will be driving your car. After hours of doing our research and receiving tons of emails from dozens of brokers, we decided to work with Bill from Plymouth and we are so happy we did. If you're familiar with the car shipping industry, you'll know that brokers will often will tell you everything you want to hear in order to get your business. Bill on the other hand will tell you not just the good but he will be very honest with you in regards to what to expect. He's very thorough with explaining the process and doesn't make empty promises. One of the biggest advantages of choosing Bill is the personal service he offers. Unlike the bigger trucking companies, you can actually call him directly on his personal phone line and speak with him if ever you have any questions and that to me is a HUGE bonus. All this wouldn't matter if this wasnt necessary and you don't care about your car, but if you take pride in your car and want to put it in the best hands with a trustable company, then go with Bill because he actually delivers on everything he says he will do. He told me a quote and worked hard to honor it. He told me the car pick up window would be 1-5 days from the pick up date, and my car was picked up by day 3. He told me I could call him anytime for any questions, and he was always there. The one thing I appreciate the most about his company is the customer service and honesty. He definitely exceeded my all of my expectations. If you're like me and immediate trustable customer support is important to you, go with Bill. I can't thank him enough for everything he has done to make me feel comfortable with this entire process and for always being there whenever I had any questions. I will most definitely be returning to him to ship my car back to California when I return to the country. Bottom line, if you're reading this review, look no further and get in touch with Bill. I guarantee you that you will be happy that you did. You can request a quote on Yelp which is what I did and if you do, I bet you he will respond to you ASAP just as he does throughout the entire process! Thank you again for everything, Bill! :)

While Plymouth was not the least expensive option for transportation, all the research I did on the company indicated they were the most dependable and the most honest. When there was no call for delivery, called and asked about it. At first the excuse was heavy traffice then when it wasn't delivered the next time, was told a car wasn't ready to be picked up and had to wait. Again, a date and time was given, no show. I was then told it would be 9am on 12/25. When called at 10am, as it was a no show, or even a call to change the time, was very nasty. Said was sleeping and was screaming, as it got to him.
